  Smartbackgroundchecks.com is providing much of my personal information on their website without my consent. The information includes my phone number, my addresses (and my full address history), my family members, and more. Moreover, this information is being publicly displayed on the first page ****** search results when you search my name. This is a breach of privacy and this is dangerous to my safety. When I try to follow the directions on their website to opt-out and have my information removed from their site, I am sent to a page that says I am blocked from requesting my information to be removed.

  This website is a breach of my right to privacy. It has my personal information, previous and current addresses, phone numbers, and relatives. I am a healthcare worker, in a place where patient stalking is highly likely and I demand my information be taken off from the internet. I have used the opt-out request, and am currently waiting for the 72 hour period for removal. I am writing this complaint for documentation purposes, and to expose how wicked this "company" is.

  On 7/14/23, I went through the opt-out process and at the end, the message said it would take 72 hours to remove all my information. I checked today and it is still up. I did not give permission for them to post information about me. I want my name, other linked information, and all other information removed.

  My personal information is being diplayed on the SmartBackGroundChecks website and search engine queries. I tried to follow the company's opt out instructions but it is a complicated process and does not easily provide the consumer with a rapid way to opt out of using the consumers' personal information as part of their business model.I request for SmartBackGroundChecks to immediately delete my personal information.   The suggestion to submit the request to ****** [***************************************************] is not a viable solution.

  The reason being my personal information associated with SmartBackgroundCheck still appears when I do ****** search for '***************************, Winchester, **'.

  As a marketer, I know that SmartBackgroundCheck needs to change this on their ****** Ads administrator site.
