    I found my personal information public online without my consent putting me at risk of exposure to anyone capable of harming me. Smart background has published viral information about me opening cyber security threat concern to my person. I had requested my info to be removed from their site, but with no avail. This business is putting peoples life in jeopardy and needs to be taken out of the internet

    I do not understand the process of taking off my personal information off of "Smartbackgroundchecks" and its affiliates platform; this business has poor ethics, there is no way you can be running people's background check and making it available to anyone on the internet, what kind of shady business is this? Now, i have to wait for them to verify that I am myself for them to remove my address, cell number, date of birth, and everything else from their site. Who authorized this business to make my personal information public to the whole world to begin with?

    Today while reviewing my presence on the internet I found this listing: REMOVEDThey are selling information for which I did not provide permission. In addition there are so many errors in the information, including address, email addresses, telephone numbers, relationships, and associations for me to list.     My personal information is on smartbackgroundchecks.com without my consent. I'd want it to be removed inmediatelly. However, the webpage gives false information how to have it removed. It says to "navigate to your records using the search features. When you find your record there will be a gold button that looks like" to remove the information. I did as it was instructed, however, it was false. There is NO button to allow you to remove information. I want my information to be deleted immediately, as is my right by the Delete Act (CA SB-362).

    I am not sure how long my information has been on this Web site I only found out about it because I signed up with life lock & they informed me. I have tried to get my info removed I was told to follow a link which I did and all this site wanted was all my info plus my credit card info{which I did not supply} I emailed them back gave them my name age & location and told them that I wasn't going to give my credit card info to the link and that the info I provided in the email was enough as I have never opened an account with smart background checks so I don't have a password. I have not heard any thing back.

    Hello I have emailed smartbackgroundchecks.com numerous times for months to delete my information on their site since the opt out option is not available due to some strange way they have posted my private information. they do not response and do not have any other way of contacting them. this is ridiculous that although they have been informed that I do not give them access to use my information they keep doing it, this is illegal. please address this ASAP
