    SmartBackgroundChecks.com has more than an uncomfortable amount of my personal information on it. I went through LifeLock to remove it. I followed the Opt-Out I thought but it looked like there was more than e-mail. So I went to the website and looked myself up. Almost a minute after being terrified of all the information on me they had, then a virus blocker popped up and my securities booted me from the website. So how do I remove my information and not get a computer virus?

    I do not have any social media and always try to keep my personal information safe and away from websites for security reasons.Smart background website is displaying ALL my information including current address, income, assets and previous phone numbers. I didnt give any consent for my Information to be public and easily accessible to whoever types my name.     I have never consented to be included in any of the SmartBackgroundChecks databases.For the past hour or so I have judiciously followed the SmartBackgroundChecks instructions on opting out of their databases. However, the supposed icon which should appear to allow the opt-out does not appear.I have tried to find a physical address for SmartBackgroundChecks to opt out by way of postal mail, without success.I object to being included in SmarkBackgroundChecks various databases.What solution?

    I found alot of very personal information on a website called smartbackgroundchecks.com. I did not give permission for this information to made public and I want it deleted. I tried their opt out option which simply asks for MORE information and tells me they may cache my information anyway and may not delete them from ******* Bing and other browsers. I want it off their site on ALL browsers.

    I am rejecting this response because: while I followed their instructions I did so with trepidation, which was increased when at the end of the process this organization referred me to a partner organization to remove my information from 20+ other sites, which made me feel vulnerable. I did not sign up for my personal and financial information to be shared at all, let alone so completely summarized. I should not have to go through their directed process, they should remove it because it is clear from this case that is my firm desire. I should not have to wait for who knows how long for them to take the information down.
