    As of 9 December, 2022, this site is listing my personal information such as address and family. Also multiple phone numbers. I am active military and some numbers and locations are military installations. How is this violation of personal information and military information legal? Why has the *** not shut this down? I want my information removed now but they require even more info and a credit card to validate just to request the info to be removed. I am not comfortable giving that info to a shady site like this. I demand the company remove my info now.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I still would like the BBB to work with the *** to stop this company from illegally accessing and posting the personal information of US citizens without their consent. This is a violation of privacy and endangers people. How many people have been found by stalkers and injured or murdered due to these heartless people trying to make a profit?

    I have repeatedly tried unsuccessfully to get Smartbackgroundcheck.com to delete my personal information using their opt out instructions. After I locate my record, i never see the yellow removal button so I am unable to delete my information. Please help. I do not want my information displayed on their site.

    I have requested my personal information be removed from Smart Background Checks per the instructions on their website and via email. My information is still publicly available.
