Ideal Image charges a yearly fee for the services. The services are reduced prices on Botox and other cosmetic procedures. In 2021 I used 30 of the 40 units. I was told by the clinician that I had 10 units left after my procedure. Also I was told a "free service" was included with my yearly payment. Today I was told I used all my purchased Botox, and the free service expired last year. This is all a scam to make extra money on people, who like me didn't realize they charge your credit card every year, and there is a expiration date on their free service, which in fact is paid for with your yearly subscription. I signed up for Ideal Images 16 month laser hair removal process and paid for that process. I was then encouraged to sign up for the lifetime guarantee at a price of $250, which I later found out wasnt even applicable while I was undergoing the 16 month process and was a yearly fee so I was out that $250. I renewed for another year of lifetime guarantee of $250 to get 90% off any needed touch**** Go to schedule my touch up and its going to be $375 for each touch up. Seeing as I had minimal results from the initial treatment process, this is going to cost more than the original plan. When I called to inquire about the price and make sure my 90% discount was applied I was told the prices have increased and this was correct. Now I work in the medical field and understand results vary- but I also understand that my hair and skin tones make me an ideal candidate for great results. My mom was also a nurse who did laser hair removal at a clinic and said I should have only needed 6 sessions and would have had complete results. I feel that Ideal Image didnt do the process properly. They didnt have availability to get me in every six weeks as needed for the hair growth cycle, they didnt have properly trained nurses running the laser, and they didnt use the laser correctly. I was subjected to excess painful hair removal but untrained staff with no regard for my health, time, or money. And now it benefits them further to have me come back for touch **** At this point Im out thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for the process and no response from Ideal Image regarding their process not working or the price gouging for touch *** I feel they purposely create.Business Response

The guest can cancel the renewal for the ***M (membership) and still be eligible for touch *** since the guest has purchased the ***. Ideal image provided a service. I was dissatisfied. They ended our relationship without satisfying my complaint. I was told to leave the building when I complained about the results of my procedure. Fine. Our relationship was terminated. They subsequently charged me $250 for a membership because I had unenrolled in their emails and did not respond to decline the membership. I disputed that charge - they refused to return my money. Now, they refuse to tell me what the benefits are under this $250 membership. They have hung up on me repeatedly. I received no further communication after I was charged $250 and phone calls have been met with rudeness and still no literature. I would like the $250 refunded. I am rejecting this response because: it is inconsistent with what has happened. I submitted this complaint on March 1 at 12:37 pm. I then received an email from Ideal Image at the same moment. "CANCELLATION CONFIRMED, WE'RE SORRY TO SEE YOU GO.I do not see a credit on my credit card. This is now the 4th time Ive been told this has been taking care of but no money ever shows up on my credit card.
Why do I need to follow the steps outlined in your reply if this "membership" has been canceled? I just want my money back.

I purchased a hair removal package. They never checked to be sure the hair was the right tone to treat because they had moved to online consults rather than in person consults. I received 5 treatments, each time stating poor results, and it was not until my 6th appointment that someone said this hair isnt the right color for the laser. I signed up for the ideal image membership and was told Botox cost would be $8/unit. I was required to pre purchase units and was given Botox that was reconstituted several weeks ago which did not work. I had to go back 2 times and the results still didnt work. I went back for my 3rd appointment trying to get the Botox at the price I signed up for and was told the price increased to $10/unit at my appointment. I have been trying for several weeks to get ahold of cooperate who doesnt answer and only gives you and option to press star for a return call which hasnt happened my last 3 attempts. I paid $550 for the membership and another $275 for expired Botox that was reconstituted weeks prior. Botox is suppose to be used within 24 hours of reconstitution. Its been over 30 days but this was due to the expired and product and lack of knowledge from the nurse injector. I want my refund for the membership which I would never use and it would never been worth it with the immediate spike in price. It was a bait and switch and I was never even able to get the Botox. I am rejecting this response because: the Botox that was given was reconstituted weeks prior to my visit. The manufactures of Botox recommends use of Botox within 24hours of reconstituting. This was not done. The Botox was taken out of the refrigerator with a reconstituted date weeks before my visit.The lifetime membership guarantee was to ensure the cost of Botox be discounted. The Botox price was initially discounted but then that offer was never offered again. The price was increased without notice and I was not noticed within the 30 days.
This is a fraudulent company with poor ethics using invalid products. They are a classic bait and switch. Offer something then immediately change refusing to provide usable product.
I am a medical professional so the HR or customers service person who responded to this should watch what medical knowledge they are noting. The Botox was not prepared the day of the visit. This is false.

I am rejecting this response because:This company doesnt provide any solution. They cant even note the product that was used and yet they are expecting someone to pay for something that didnt work.
Also, you require someone to purchase this product prior to even scheduling a 1st visit. They lock someone into purchasing and paying the membership. They take the money and dont offer any solution or refund.
They have numerous similar complaints on yelp and google.
The BBB is here to protect the consumer from scams and companies like this. Especially when nothing gets resolved not just on my file but on the 100s of others who have had similar complaints.

On November 2020 I got a loan for the Hair Laser Removal for bikini full + peri **** and Upper lip that Ive been wanting for years and has able to make payments comfortably. The first few treatments were great, I could see a difference and was happy with the results. The main reason I went with Ideal Image was because they have many locations and even with a traveling job I would be able to finish treatment. The person who sold me the package assured me that I would never have problems with going to different locations, WRONG! A few treatments in one location and a few in others (cant remember the exact times) and I complained that I wasnt seeing results like at the beginning and I actually had more hair in my lip. In every location the experience of the nurse was different, the technique, the area they did the treatment was different every time. Some nurses were great, actually treating every single spot, others missed ALOT of the areas. First I was the perfect candidate for laser, but then I noticed The ****** was different on pretty much each time, I noticed how one location said I had too dark skin which its not true and was not a problem at the beginning, only after complained of not seeing results, my skin getting darker and more have in the lip area, they mentioned my skin being to dark. My skin is not dark! Ive been responsible and payed for the loan all this time and I did try to solve almost a year ago with the locations but they were of no help. There many reasons why I was not able to make this complaint before, language barrier being the main one. It is very frustrating and sad for me because I wanted to get rid of some hairs in my lip but ended up with more. My self esteem has only gotten worse. The skin in the bikini and peri **** are darker. and I understand those are consequences of my decisions but I requested a few time to be seeing by someone besides a nurse as they seem not to know exactly why I wasnt having results.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because as mentioned before, I requested to see a medical professional at two different locations and was told they could see me on my next appointment but they were never available during my appointments. I was told more than ones by the nurses that going to different locations wasnt beneficial to the treatment when that was the main reason I went with Idea Image. You are saying Ideal can treat all skins but I was told by the nurses, when I mentioned not seeing results, that darker skin was more prone to have less results. This was mentioned to me a few time. The problem here is that I finished the treatment like you mentioned, followed the guidance and I was more hair than ever. I payed so much money for something that didnt do anything beneficial for me. It is wrong that I payed that much money to this company and I got absolutely nothing in return. Read again, I payed thousands for something that I didnt not get. Hope this helps understand why I want a refund. I will not go through all that pain, missing work and paying co-pays to re-treat for something that DOES NOT WORK. How can you even mention going back? Are you guys even aware of what is it that a patient/client goes through? not only for treatment but also to pay for this.

On January 31st I got in contact with ideal image in regards to getting lip filler done. The representative walked me through the contract leaving out key information and told me to sign electronically. The following day I called to cancel the appointment and they told me I was required to still pay the 675$. They then sent me a credit card in my name and the payment was charged. I am very disappointed in the service of Ideal Image. Initially was rushed into signing and approval of finance. I had my first laser hair removal and did not know it would be so hot on my skin. To be told that the laser would be hotter next time prompted me to cancel. Called to cancel and was offered a refund or transfer of credits to cool sculpting. I transfer credits to have my ********** sculpting appointment. Was not told that the procedure would be an hour per area and that my stomach would be so swollen. It took two to three months for the sharp pains to disappear and the swelling to go down showing no signs of stomach reduction. There were days that I could not move due to the sharp pains. This procedure was too painful to want to another session. Called to cancel and was told no refund or transfer credit to someone as a gift! I stated that this wasnt what I was told in the beginning. Plus, my fist appointment was scheduled months after I signed up. It takes weeks for corporate to call to even discuss the issue. Corporate did not care that my experience was not good and refuse to refund me. All I was told to take some pain medicine and gift the balance to someone else. I would not have done this process had I known the conclusion was this negative. I stressed how painful this was for me and how it would not healthy for me to continue. Their response to this was if it's not a medical reason then no refunds are allowed. As far as the contract, the process was done over the phone and all I was told to sign here to start the treatments. My first appointment was scheduled a month or two later. I should have been advised on how the treatments were going to be done and that pain was apart of the process. This information would have stopped me from doing this! This is unfair and wrong to hold my money hostage knowing I have zero intention of putting myself through more pain. If Ideal stands by their service they should understand my grievance to not hurt myself any further.***************************

All guest are provided their service agreement to review and sign prior to committing. Understanding your Service agreement means you understand our refund policy.
