      I was seeking to get a laser hair removal treatment for my face and underarms. I was assured through an initial consultation appointment that the treatment would work on my hair type (thickness and color). In reliance on that I signed a contract to undergo the treatment and signed a contract for a monthly payment plan of about $165 instead of paying the near $3,000 up front. I have to date paid one installment although I have not had a treatment yet due to scheduling conflicts as I am currently in law school. I arrived for my first appointment and was told that my hair was not dark enough for the treatment to work. I was told that I could transfer the treatment to a different area of my face and get a new plan for a different cost. This is not what I signed up for. The treatment provider even took pictures of my face to submit a case to break the contract as he also thought it would be a waste of money to undergo something that would not work on me, ALTHOUGH I WAS ASSURED IT WOULD THROUGH THE FIRST CONSULTATION AND ONLY SIGNED THE CONTRACT IN RELIANCE ON THAT. I spoke with their corporate department who refused to break the contract due to an informed consent provision which spoke to the type of hair the treatment would work on. I responded that I was on the phone with someone while signing the contract who assured me that my hair met the qualifications the contract required. They will not break the contract. I should not have to pay for something I was deceived for even though they are ultimately breaching the contract on their end. This is absolutely absurd and completely unjust. I would appreciate any help or guidance you could offer. Thank you!

      I had a call with a sales consultant from Ideal Image to inquire about ********* laser services, and was told completely inaccurate information about the experience. I expressed my fear of the pain and possible skin damage and was told that it would be completely painless and safe. To pressure me even more, the sales consultant mentioned that if I do not sign the same day, then it would be an extra $500. After sales tricks and coercion, I signed the contract, however I changed my mind the very next morning and asked for a refund, to which she said I will be able to receive one, but also suggested that I go into the spa location to get a test spot done on my skin. It has now been 4 months since beginning to fight for a refund and my appointment for laser hair removal was today. I went in to get a test spot done and it was the most excruciating pain i have ever experienced, so I was completely misled. The nurse doing my treatment informed me that the consultant failed to inform me when selling that the laser used on African American women/darker skin tones (the **** is significantly more painful than the one used on fair skin. I called the same sales consultant to inform her that i would not be moving forward and would like a refund. She said she gives refunds all the time and does not know why the company refuses to give me one, especially since their current policy allows for a 3-day grace ****** after signing if you want to request a refund. I requested a refund less than *************************************************** my $2950 back. This company uses fraudulent practices to get people to sign up and then locks them into a contract that they only signed based on false information. The internet is full of thousands of women who have been scammed by Ideal image.

      I received 14 treatments of laser hair removal under my arm pits, upper legs, full bikini, and peri area over the course of 16 months. Each nurse that did treatments on me over this time kept telling me completely opposing things regarding what type of laser and settings used on me. Each treatment was very inconsistent. I kept letting them know I am not seeing big results and not getting the shedding period that they said I should be getting. They kept switching up the types of lasers along with settings they used on me each session and was told very inconsistent follow up procedures. At the end of my 16 month contract, all of my hair had grown back and now continues to grow. Its almost worse then when I first started. The business and sales persons state some hair may grow back implying you should expect some not all to grow back. In my situation all of my hair has grown back to original amount. When I went in for a check up to complain about this, they said they could not do anything because my hairs were blonde. >75% of my hair is dark brown. They will not give me an extension on my contract or any refunds. I am so frustrated to have spent $4,500 and get no results and they wont do anything about it. Additionally I have terrible scarring and spotting all over my upper legs from the laser. I understand in the contract there are listed possible side effects, but I believe this was caused due to the nurses not using the correct laser type and setting for my skin type and all of the inconsistencies. All of this has affected my mental and physical health. I want compensation.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      After those 12 treatments, I did not see results and kept letting them know that treatment after treatment. My hair on my armpits, bikini, perianal, and upper legs is only now about 10% gone and continues to grow back. I have the perfect skin tone and hair color medium skin tone with dark hair. I should have seen better results. Additionally, the lasers resulted in permanent scars rather than permanent hair removal. Because of the services not rendered (excessive hair still in the spots I was most self-conscious about) and the scars it has produced, it has mentally and physically affected me. I have just one of the many pictures I have of the scars produced by the laser on my upper leg and noticeable hair.

From a business perspective, you guys should be making this right and offering me something more I can do for all the mental and physical disturbances laser hair removal from ideal image has caused me.       February 16, 2022 $4,888.20 **************** reps told me I would still have to pay them even if I never got any services done by them.I was looking in get coolsculpting service with them for my arms but change my mind after talking with several of my fans and assistants because i wanted them to go on this journey with me some of them told me it would not be worth my money because of my size and to also consider first it to look into this company first and learn more about coolsculpting. When I started looking into the company what I found wasn't good. I saw thousands of complaints and reviews.so i decided to cancel however when i called them they told me I couldn't because i signed a contract with loan company ally and they have taken out a payment I asked why and how I no longer won't services for coolsculpting for someone my size of 200 lbs It would not work like lipo I have also lost weight so my skin is not as tight so I have reconsidered my options they said the they couldn't because i sign and agreement now I should of read the agreement as a normal adult should do first before signing papers and documents. i was shocked this is the type of business they do. they have you signing docs while on the video call, one has no time.to read what they are signing. When you try to cancel i have a long wait time to reach them they put you in a queue and you can wait a long and they constantly tell you the same thing you can't cancel but even though it illegal to pay for a service your have not gotten i never received any services on a consultation and I no longer want service please cancel that is all i want i no longer need the loan.customer service reps told me I would still have to pay them even if I never got any services done by them.I am disputing this because I want to cancel for non services I have my lawyers also working on this however I'm going to social media ,news radio and my fan base to stop them for doing this to anyone if nothing is done.

      I bought a cool sculpture treatment from ideal image. I went through all of the 12 treatments. I maintained my body weight the same. I have been on a healthy diet before I even start this treatment. My goal was to loose my abdominal fat, not to loose weight. I started my treatment in September 2022. I went for my follow up appointment this week 02/19/2023. I dont feel any changes in the treated area. The lady who compared my pictures before and after treatment didnt see changes. I dont know what to do because I paid about **** dollars for this treatment. I didnt not use a credit card. Ideal Image consultant who sold me the treatment suggested 0% interest loan. I took that. The consultant didnt not go over the refund policy. Obviously I was dumped like others especially this is my first time to buy a cosmetology treatment. I am still waiting for results for this disaster. The treatment initially was for 8 treatments but at the clinic they made me buy 4 more treatments first day I visited them. I dis my part and trusted ideal Image. How is Ideal Image solving this problem for me?

      On February 21st of 2023, a Lifetime Guarantee Membership was renewed without prior notice. There was no window for cancelation or communication from the company notifying that I was going to be charged and asking if I wanted to renew.Amount charged: $299.00 Date 02/21/2023

      Ideal Image is a negligent and selfish business, that preys on customers, has no regard for safety and then uses dodgy and scare tactics on customers who want to resolve issues. I signed up to receive a hair removal service that included a few sessions. After a few, it was evident that ideal image was 1) negligent about my safety 2) negligent about the services 3) not going to provide the service I signed up for per the executed contract. In summary, on multiple occasions hey had a laser pointed at my face and were quickly ******* through all of my appointments with no paperwork to reference who I am or concerns for my safety. I reached out to the representative that signed in March 2022 for a refund. I reached out again 8 more times over the course of 3 months with no response. I tried calling the ideal image customer service line but it was always busy. Then, I called every day and was assigned a case manager. I told her my issues and she said she would get back to me. Once again, no response from ideal image. It is now July 2022 and I called the rep they provided me every day leaving voicemails. Per company policy, they refused to give me an email so I could not follow up. I called the main line and they would not transfer me or said she was not there. After weeks, I got a manager that will now be handling my case. He told me Ideal image was not wrong in any way and I will not be getting a refund and kept trying to give me a free service when I do not feel comfortable stepping back into that place. He also used scare tactics on me, spewing medical terms and information in order to scare me into complying. When in fact, I have done my research and talked to other providers confirming that long lengths between services will in fact impede treatment results entirety. Using a scare tactic at customers, yelling at them and belittling them is not a fair business practice for conflict resolution. I demand they make this right and provide a refund.

All guest are provided their service agreement to review and sign prior to committing. Understanding your Service agreement means you understand our refund policy.       I paid $5k+ for laser hair removal that they wanted to charge me an additional $500+ per session for because I still needed treatments after my "contract" expired. I was promised unlimited treatments for the duration of the contract, they stated treatment intervals ranged from **** weeks. It was impossible to go every **** weeks (as often as I'd like and that THEY suggested) because I had to wait 3-4 months at a time between appointments. This was their choice, not mine. Unlimited means not limited however these were absolutely limited. I paid thousands of dollars just for them to be unable to work me in to their busy schedule to accomplish the hair removal goal at intervals they set. I had to reschedule one appointment I waited 3 months for. The rescheduled appointment was 4 months out. I basically had to waste almost half my contract on having to wait for them to have time for me, for just that one appointment. They managed to ********* treatments in spite of my contract expiring. It was extended just long enough to receive that 5th appointment because of course I had to wait another 3 months for that last appointment. It's not my fault they overbook but I sure am the one paying for it. I've lost an additional 3-8 treatments that I could/should have received if they held true to their unlimited treatments claim at **** week appointment intervals. They said **** weeks, not ****. I was unlucky enough to have an appointment scheduled the day everything was shut down due to a freeze so I went right down to the bottom of the list to wait a few more months for another available appointment that I'm pretty sure was after the contract was set to expire. One treatment didn't even do anything. I had to shave off just as much hair as I did before that one. I was also under the impression that extended bikini treatments were supposed to go beyond the bikini line. Two of my treatments lived up to that. This whole experience has been so disappointing to say the least.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Again, I did not receive more than 5 treatments as stated. Had I received the 9 that they are claiming then I would not have had a complaint. They would have held up their end of the deal so I wouldnt have a reason to report them to BBB. Even if I was dissatisfied with the results after 9 treatments, it wouldnt warrant a report to BBB, maybe just a whiny review on Yelp or something. Why would my contract be extended to receive additional treatments beyond the guaranteed five? The answer is, it wouldnt be. I received 5 treatments per area and my contract was extended just enough to get FIVE treatments, not nine. This is insane. Already viewed as shady, now they are straight up lying. That or they are just mistakenly looking at another guest's information which is unlikely because they provided a copy of my contracts signed/initialed by me. I am 100% positive that I only had the 5 guaranteed treatments, none of the additional 4 that they didn't have time for but are claiming I received with what would have had to have been my extended contract. I wish I had known unlimited actually meant unlimited except for lack of availability due to overbooking. They just don't have time to take care of their customers the way they make it sound like they would.

      Ideal Image is ridiculous. I have paid $2934.90 to this company. I am finished with treatments and I still notice a significant amount of hair growth on both of my treated areas. My primary complaint has to do with the fact that they upped their prices and I was never told. The last time I went to get a touch up it was $97.70, now suddenly its $200! They doubled their prices and not once did I receive and email. I just think its ridiculous that I paid all this money, and they want more. I paid the $250 for the Lifetime Guarantee, but what does it really guarantee me if they can just change the prices of things whenever they feel like it.

      The lifetime guarantee that the guest purchased allows the guest to come in and receive touch *** at a 90% off of a single session price at the time of the touch up. Our prices are subjected to change. The guest does not have to come in for touch-***, it is their choice. We apologize about our price increase but it will continue to be 90% off a single session price for the guests. Thank you.

      I received one treatment from ideal image and decided it was not for me. I have been trying to get out of my contract with them. They are telling me I can not. How is this legal if the service is not rendered? They are also telling me if I don't get the treatments in 12 months I forfeit all money paid or will be sent to collections.

      We are happy to move the funds to another service that the guest is interested however the guest is not eligible for refund. We stand behind our service agreement and the commitment it offers. We are happy to provide resolutions to resolve within the terms and conditions stated in the contract, but refund is not an option. All guest are provided their service agreement to review and sign prior to committing. Understanding your Service agreement means you understand our refund policy. We have attached a copy of the contract for review. Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because I do not want any services from ideal image. I am not interested in your unfair business practices. Please refund my account in full minus the one treatment I did receive. I do not wish to get my lawyer involved however, if a suitable agreement cannot be met, my next step will be to seek retribution through our justice system.

      I don't want any services from you. Now or ever. Please release me from my contract. I am happy to pay for the one session I received. I do not require your services any longer. Requiring me to pay for services I do not receive is illegal.
