The **** **** *******, promised that a procedure would be completed within a timeframe of month and a half, which we discussed numerous times before signing the agreement. She contacted us daily through calls and texts until my spouse and I finally signed the agreement. However, after we made the payment, **** stopped responding. I attempted to schedule the service but was referred back and forth between two locations, with each one providing conflicting information. Eventually, I managed to schedule the service, but they randomly changed the date to a time I could not accommodate.Even worse, when I arrived for the originally scheduled service, a rude representative told me she would gladly issue a refund. After multiple texts and calls to my sales representative, ****, who did not respond to any of them, I submitted a dispute with my bank. On top of that, my spouse's procedure was canceled just 13 minutes before it was set to begin, and for unexplained reasons. When my spouse requested a refund, they promptly sent a termination of agreement. In my case, I received a call from a representative named *******, who refused to disclose her last name. During the call, she lied about policies that are not part of any agreement we signed, claimed that I cursed at her (though I only wished I had, considering her behavior), and refused to issue a refund simply because "she said so." Its unacceptable for a business to operate in such a manner where one person receives a refund, and another does not based solely on someone's arbitrary decision. ******* even mentioned that she would place me in collections for payments for services I have never received, again stating it was because "she says so." When I requested to speak to someone above *******, she refused. This is an accurate depiction of their unprofessionalism. I asked ******* at least six times to process a refund for the services that were never rendered, but she simply said no, because thats how she feels.

I am rejecting this response because:

Following my initial complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I was contacted by ****** from Ideal Image **************** and ****, the Manager at the ********** location. During our conversation, we reviewed the termination agreement and the refund amounts.

I received a Termination Agreement outlining a refund of $2,235.94, and my spouse, ********, received a separate agreement indicating a refund of $444.18. We both signed our respective agreements on the same day  Monday, June 28, 2025.

To date, Ideal Image has only refunded 50% of the amount stated in my agreement  $1,117.97, which is exactly half of the agreed refund. I followed up the same day to inquire when the remaining balance would be issued, but after two days, I have yet to receive a response. Additionally, ******** has not received any refund at all.

Once again, Ideal Image is failing to uphold its own agreements, which raises serious concerns about the integrity of their business practices and the overall legality of their operations.

      Attached are:

      1) Termination Agreement, signed - Jelena (7/28/2025)

      2) Termination Agreement, signed - Raimonda (7/28/2025)

      3) Refund from Ideal Image (7/29/2025)

      4) ******** response to Ideal Image (7/29/2025)

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

We want to confirm that the refunds have been processed as agreed for both accounts. Since both clients payments were made through a third-party lender and not directly to Ideal Image, the refunds were issued back to the lender.
At this time, weve been notified that active chargeback disputes (credit card disputes) have been filed by both clients with the lender. These chargebacks are currently preventing the lender from releasing the reimbursement back to you.
For any further questions or to resolve the status of the funds, we kindly recommend contacting your lender directly.
Weve attached documentation verifying the chargeback status for your reference.

      Complaint: 23650657

I am rejecting this response because:

The documents you provided indicate an ongoing dispute between Ideal Image and my bank, ****************. I urge you to review them again carefully. There is not a single document from you confirming that a refund has actually been issued.

      To clarify:
I have not worked with, nor been contacted by, the third-party lender you referenced. This lender is a business partner of Ideal Image, not mine.
I contacted ****************, and they confirmed that your statement that a refund cannot be issued to my account due to a dispute is false.
I also contacted the lender, HFD, as per your instructions. Their representative informed me that they cannot disclose any information to me directly. I emailed them previously (a copy of which Ive already submitted), but I have not received a response.

I have submitted both termination agreements provided by Ideal Image and signed by me and my spouse, which clearly state the refund amounts:
      Jelena: $2,235.94
      ********: $444.18
      Total: $2,680.12

To date, we have only received a partial refund of $1,117.97. For this amount, I received an email and confirmation. No other confirmations were received, which means refund was not processed.

The remaining balance of $1,562.15 is still outstanding.

I am requesting that you issue the remaining refund immediately, as agreed. Please do not continue to redirect me between parties or departments, as was the case during the service process, where responsibility was repeatedly shifted and no action was taken.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

I signed up with Ideal Image after being persuaded by their sales team with a package deal that included multiple laser hair removal sessions. A major selling point was their so-called lifetime guarantee, making it seem like a smart long-term investment. However, once Ideal Image decided my sessions were complete, I wasnt allowed to use the remaining treatments in my package. Instead, they told me I would now have to pay for touch-**** When I brought up the lifetime guarantee, they clarified that it doesnt mean free touch-*** instead, its a yearly membership (around $200/year) that only gives discounted rates on additional services. That was not how it was originally presented, and when I contacted customer service, they even admitted that the wording is misleading.Initially, I paid $150 for Brazilian and underarm touch-**** As of May 2025, those prices more than doubled to $367 for the exact same areas, with no explanation.Out of frustration, I reached out to another provider Milan Laser and was told theyve had many former Ideal Image clients come over due to this exact issue. ***** actually offers a true lifetime guarantee with free touch-***, which is what I thought I was getting at Ideal.Overall, I feel completely misled by Ideal Images sales tactics, disappointed by their customer service, and frustrated by their unfair pricing structure. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for transparency or long-term value.

We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty to Ideal Image.  To ensure we continue providing the highest quality of services in a safe environment, we need to make adjustments to our Lifetime Guaranty pricing for laser hair removal.

The new touch-up pricing by body part will be effective as of May 1, 2025 and details are available at ************************************************************* .

To continue providing you with the highest level of care, these adjustments support ongoing training for our medical providers, upgrades to the latest laser technology, and enhanced safety measures.

      Complaint: 23635211

I am rejecting this response because:

I do not find Ideal Images response satisfactory.

While I understand businesses may need to adjust pricing over time, it is unfair and misleading to apply significant price increases to existing customers who signed up under completely different expectations especially when we were persuaded to enroll based on a Lifetime Guarantee. At the time of my purchase, that guarantee was presented as a long-term benefit to cover future touch-**** not a membership with ever-increasing discounted rates.

I still had unused sessions in my package when Ideal Image determined I was done and was then told Id have to start paying for touch-**** This alone felt like a breach of the package I paid for. The situation was further compounded when the cost of those touch-*** jumped from $150 to $367 with no warning or opportunity for existing clients to be grandfathered in.

Ideal Images response fails to address the misleading sales language, the denial of unused sessions, or the lack of transparency around pricing changes. I also spoke with customer service, who admitted the Lifetime Guarantee messaging was misleading. That acknowledgment should come with a solution, not justification.

I would like Ideal Image to honor the original terms under which I signed up by offering touch-up services at the original rate I was paying. If changes are truly necessary, existing customers should be grandfathered in, not penalized with sudden price hikes.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ********

Ideal image is predatory. They do not refund you even if you cancel your treatment well in advance. They have a sales consultant schedule you over **** and that consultant does not go over any of the information that you are signing verbally, as any reputable and ethical doctors office or med spa would (its called informed consent, ie: they TELL you what you are signing and ensure you know what it means). IDEAL IMAGE does not do this and you are being consulted via Zoom (not even in person) and as a result patients are left holding the bag for treatments they cancel in advance and before they can even be deemed ineligible or not good candidates. Its predatory in itself to not offer refunds, but what makes it worse is that you are not verbally provided with the information you are signing, and you are roped into having to pay for it before an assessment is made on your eligibility for the procedure. How can a sales consultant make an assessment? They are not medically licensed to do so therefore, you should not be forced to pay at that time of speaking with a sales consultant. This practice is purposefully predatory, they are ensuring that you pay by having you sign a contract at first meeting with a sales consultant without a medically licensed professional even speaking with you. Finally, their contracts that you sign are not sent to you until you call them and ask for them and it says they will not treat you if youre breastfeeding for ultherapy but after peaking on the phone with a local branch, they said they will treat breastfeeding patients for ultherapy. They will give you the run around between the corporate office and local office. Even with the corporate office after speaking with three different people, I was told by two they do offer refunds and by one that they dont. Even their own employees dont know their predatory policies and practices.

I am rejecting this response because: ************ is nothing more than a moneymaking scheme. If you don't believe me, all you have to do is a simple online search to find thousands of accounts on reddit, tiktok, etc. chronicling coercive, deceptive, predatory, and unconscionable contract practices. For. reference, I have attached several stories from reddit and the definition of an unconscionable contract. READ IT BEFORE YOU ARE COERCED INTO SIGNING IT AS I WAS AND SO MANY OTHERS WERE, you will see how absurd it is. If Ideal Image is not going to refund my account, they should not contact me again, as I requested from ****** with customer service today. If you have experienced similar treatment with Ideal Image, I encourage you to keep your eyes and ears open for class action lawsuits, plenty of people are interested in this and have stated so on public forums where Ideal Image is not able to manipulate reviews such as on their private social media accounts. Note the absurd contract clauses around being able to change pricing, terms, etc. without notice as well as the "informed consent" which is not informed at all because it is never read to you and illegally executed because it is "acknowledged" by you at the time of discussion with a sales consultant. The sales consultant does not read it, as any informed consent is typically read at a doctor's office or med-spa or at the very least summarized.I was "consented" via zoom and the so called medically licensed professional called me to go over my "eligibility" over the phone, yet when I asked ideal image to revoke my telehealth consent they said "we don't use telehealth in *******"; yet you coerced me into all of this over zoon and your clinician told me I'm eligible for treatment over the phone?

I am requesting a full refund for a CoolSculpting package purchased from Ideal Image (Client ID: ********. I have not received any services, and despite multiple attempts to cancel the package, my request has been denied.I scheduled my initial CoolSculpting appointment well in advance (around May). However, the morning of the appointment, Ideal Image contacted me to say I needed a prior medical authorization. This was never mentioned during booking, and no one can reasonably obtain doctor authorization the same day due to current healthcare delays and having to be seen in person.I was advised the appointment would be canceled then and followed up via email on July 2, 2025, to formally request a refund since no services have been rendered. I received no response, so I followed up again on July 11, at which point they called me on July 14th and stated that their policy would not change and no refund would be issued.I believe it is unethical and unacceptable to retain full payment for services that were never used, especially when the company contributed to the cancellation by failing to disclose requirements in advance.

I signed up for laser hair removal for my legs on 6/27/25. I called Saturday July 5th I believe to cancel and was told the manager would have to call me back. I waited for call back and no call so I called Tuesday July 8th and was told the their was a note in the system that the manager spoke to me and there are no refunds. I did not speak to anyone yet. When I got off the phone I received a call less than 30 minutes later from the manager saying she sent me an email. I explained that I now have to cancel due to family issues and may be relocating out of country for a while and not sure when I would be back. At this time I cannot afford to pay this loan and was told there is nothing they can do. I have not started any treatments yet. Please review my concerns and help me resolve this issue before they ruin my credit. Thank you.

I signed up for *****, ultherapy 3 sessions and filler. Did not get receipt or contract or instructions on procedures as indicated. Went to first session and was told i needed a ** authorization which i thought was done with the visit with the nurse on sign up day. On this day i had to speak to a nurse on zoom for authorization. The first session didnt happen and i was sent away by the nurse because i had an event that required makeup. ******, salesperson and manager, said i could wear makeup. In any event, the session did not happen. When i went to the rescheduled appointment, i again was turned away by the nurse because she felt my skin was sunburned. At this point, still no contract or instructions. Nobody told me to stay out of the sun. I reached out to ****** and asked for a refund because there are too many rules to follow and it was summertime and i am not staying out of sun or canceling my vacations. She then told me i only had 3 days to cancel and it was past 3 days. I asked her why she never told me i couldnt cancel and she said, They dont like us telling you that. I now see why! I then told ****** to schedule my appointments via email for mid September and to let me know. No response. About a week later I called and emailed and no response. I called again and got ****** on the phone and she said she would take care of it and email me the new dates. Still nothing. I sent a reminder email and still crickets. Today i called and ****** left early. Asked to speak to her supervisor because she doesnt respond to me and they said her supervisor wont speak to me and neither will corporate. I am done with this company and just want my money back.

First thing that needs immediate attention is that Ideal Image is charging me $50 a month on my credit card and I do not have any idea why. Looks like some kind of membership that was never disclosed (likely hidden in the contract I signed) and I want that discontinued immediately but have not been able to get ahold of a real person. Also, see below for the issues with pitiful service and unconscionable customer service or lack thereof.I signed a contract with Ideal Image in January for Ultherapy and Cool Sculpting. Initially, things were fine and I had my first treatments though I am very unhappy about the fact that the potential that some of my medical issues could negate the effectiveness of the treatments.I received my first couple of Cool Scuplting treatments with no issues. However, Ideal Image *********** in ******* then kept calling and advising that they had to cancel because the person scheduled to do my treatment was not available and they never had appointments near the scheduled date (I.e., they made no attempt to accommodate me due to their cancellations). I had to reschedule one of the appointments and called to do so and was then told my contract was only 6 months to get all the treatments so the could not get me on the schedule before the expiration.I asked them to extend the contract after being advised my the individual with who. I spoke that they did that regularly. She advised that the manager would get that handled and call me back. I tried multiple times to call them after I never heard back but always got voicemail. I am going to pay my contract out but people need to know how horrible Ideal Image is.

I purchased a laser hair removal package with a lifetime guarantee that was to give me access to touch up treatments beyond treatments included in the package at 90% off the price of single treatments. I had an appointment for my first touch up today and the fee was $642 (my package that included nearly 2 years of treatments every 6-8 weeks was about $4000). I left without receiving treatment and on calling for assistance was met with weve changed the program, and these are optional treatments, and a refusal to tell me what the non-discounted price is. Im happy to share my actual contact they are clearly refusing to honor. They need to either do away with their false advertising of lifetime guarantee or honor their contract.

I purchased a laser hair removal package through Ideal Image's *****************, ** clinic. At the time of purchase, I was explicitly told by a manager that I would receive three free touch-up sessions for each area I had previously treated. This verbal assurance was a key reason I agreed to purchase the package, even though it was not written into the ************ that Im attempting to redeem those promised touch-**** Ive been told they are no longer honored due to a change in ownership from franchise to corporate. A receptionist as well as other clients have confirmed this, saying that while the touch-*** were honored previously, the new ownership no longer allows it.I believe it is unfair and misleading to deny a clearly promised service simply because of a change in business structureespecially when the company still operates under the same brand. I attempted to resolve this directly by emailing and calling Ideal Image, both the clinic and the headquarters but I have received no response.Desired resolution: I would like Ideal Image to honor the original verbal agreement and allow me to book the three touch-up sessions for each area previously treated as promised.I also requested a copy of my contract, but they never sent it. Regardless, I believe the contract does not state that the company can disregard verbal promises made under previous ownership.
