I have attempted to contact Ideal Image, I feel that the sales department was very deceptive and I would like to dispute my account balance.. Unfortunately I have no luck getting any resolution as I'm transferred and left on hold, or told to call another number.Business Response

I entered into contract with this business 2/11/2012 for 10-treatements on specific body areas including thier "lifetime membership" for additional treatments at pre-established prices (per contract). The contract was fully paid and the first 10-treatments satisfied. Re-treatments under the "lifetime guarantee" were incorrectly charged at higher rates than our contracted price and the difference has not been refunded. The business will not schedule any additional re-treatement under their "guarantee" without execution of a new contract to supercede the original. This contract requires membership in their new program, credit card information, $250 annual fee (auto-renewed) and acceptance of their arbitration agreement. This is a violation of our existing executed contract which includes none of the above provisions. I request the business honor the existing contract (provided) and provide lifetime re-treatment under the agreed terms, along with refund of over-payments for re-treatments charged above the contracted rate. If the business will not honor the terms of our contract I request refund commensurate with the cost to obtain these services and lifetime treatments from another provider.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your response - I am rejecting this response because the business will not schedule/conduct any future appointments without execution of another contract. After an appointment is scheduled, either via phone or in-person, the business sends an automated email containing another contract that must be executed within 2-hours to retain the appointment. If the contract is not signed, the appointment is canceled automatically.
This new contract authorizes $250 auto-renewed annual fee (subject to change) among other terms not included in our existing contract.
I have reached out to Ideal Image customer care several times regarding this issue in the last year and have been assured the business is working to update the verbiage in the contract and the fees will not be charged - the contract clearly states that the signee is joining this new program and authorizes the fees. There is no option to opt-out of the new agreement and proceed with scheduled appointment.
Effectively, I am barred from using my existing and fully paid lifetime membership for any future appointments without signing yet another contract and authorizing additional, and undetermined, fees.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: as stated in my previous response, Ideal Image will not schedule any appointments under my existing LTG without execution of their new contract. I have attempted to schedule numerous times over the last year and each time an appointment is scheduled, whether in-person or over the phone, an appointment confirmation is sent via email requiring execution of the new contract. If the new contract is not signed within 2-hours, the appointment is canceled automatically. Please explain how an existing LTG member may schedule an appointment to utilize their pre-paid membership without any requirement to execute a new contract.

Please accept this email as my formal request to re-open this complaint. The business has not provided any instructions as to scheduling an appointment utilizing my existing and fully paid membership - appointments under my existing contract cannot be scheduled without executing their new contract. There is no option to "opt out" of the new contract and retain any scheduled appointment.
The business has not addressed this complaint and I remain unable to utilize my membership without executing this new contract.

Hi, I was pursuing laser hair removal and had found Ideal Image near my home, so I decided I would try and go through the process of having my insurance cover the process, since it would fall under trans healthcare for me. It did not, and they gave me a video consultation and stated X and Y, and I figured I would give it a try. I tried it, had really really poor adverse reaction to the laser and lots of pain, and the technician did not really care.I ended up moving away from Ideal Image due to moving away for mental health hospitalization, however was not aware that refunds are practically impossible with this company and the support service does not care in the slightest nor willing to help in any manner. I received emails and letters from a company called Ally Lending regarding my services from here and I had an outstanding balance. I tried to get a refund but ************ said I have to go through with Ideal Image, who have not provided any refund in any manner.I have a lot of emails and letters from **** coming in and I was sort of pressured into the package by the video consultant who told me various bits of information that all turned out to be blatantly wrong and just wanted me to sign onto the package. I was straight up mislead and I feel so stupid falling for it.At the age of 19, I already feel so much financial stress because Ideal refuses to give me a refund in any manner or even of my grievances. The treatment messed my skin up for a few months and their support is really poor. I want to consider lawyering up but due to stress of several things going on in my life and college I can't prioritize it, my mental health is really just down the drain with a lot of things, but especially this particular situation.Business Response

I have been requesting a refund of $1500 from Ideal Image since 1/2023 for services that I did not receive for cool sculpt. The agreed upon cycles was for 4 via virtual consultation, but when I went for my in person appt, I was told that I would need 12 cycles for a desired effect. After I continued to call to request my refund, I was told that I could receive 2 complimentary cycles which still wouldn't benefit me. I have been waiting for a call back from ****** a supposed supervisor since 2/17/23. I was told that she would be my final contact, and her last conversation with me was her telling me that she would call me back on 2/18/23 because she needed to get the notes from the ideal image location that this matter occurred at to reach a final resolution about my refund. I seriously have never heard of a business attempting to keep money for services that were not rendered. I seriously do not think that it's fair that I should be forced to obtain legal counsel to get my refund when I was misinformed about the agreed upon treatments and again "no services were rendered." I also have my bank USAA involved because I received a temporary credit while this matter is being resolved. I appreciate any help that BBB can give also in helping me to obtain my refund. I feel like I was scammed. I want and deserve my $1500 back, and will continue to request to get it back, either on my own or with the help of legal counsel also.Business Response

On February 10, 2023, I called Ideal Images to discuss some services that I was inquiring on, over the phone. I had not had an account with them at this time or had seen anyone in the office.I was inquiring abt getting lip filler and Botox, but wasn't sure about procedures. I had never had done lip fillers and was really looking for a consultation on services. Please know that all of this communication took place on the same phone call. She explained that I would have to create an account online to book an appt. She also told me that there would be a credit card on file to hold. I did, I created an acct. And then, there was a 3 page contract, to complete the account. Naturally, I assumed this was in good faith, for the consumer. as most places do.so I hurried and signed to finish the online profile. She failed to tell me that they charge right there on the spot! After I created the account, she told me that they charge your card immediately!! Who charges the full amount of services on the spot without being seen? I was very upset and asked to cancel everything ! I felt misled, and I signed a gross disclosure on the spot ( that's how they trap you). She contacted the manager and I thought it was done. But they ran my card, I was charged ******* for this the next day! I called ideal image first- before ************ I explained, asked for a refund - customer service said sure and after 30 minutes on hold hung up, twice! Called the store directly and the clearly saw my account and that I never even came in or received a consultation. She would not refund the money..and would not help me for refund per contract and said it would be faster to get a refund, through ************ than from them. A skincare company charging a full fee without ever seeing me, something was wrong. I tried to correct it. I called them first. This is outrageous. BBB needs to shut these scammers down! Please never go here! This is wrong. I am a single mom with a toddler!Business Response

I entered a contract and paid through Ally lending about $2500 with interest for Utherapy 3 sessions and Botox. They canceled my appointments 3 times, and one time they were just closed and did not notify me after I had taken time off of work, losing 4 hours of pay for nothing. I came for a rescheduled appointment for the Botox in January and then found out that they do not have a doctor supervising the Botox injections to be performed by a nurse. This is not a procedure that should be done by an unsupervised nurse! I had an appointment Saturday 2/25, and on that day about an hour before I got a call stating that the provider quit, and they were going to have to reschedule my next appointment the following Tuesday also! Then I was told that the next appointment wasnt until June 30, but my contract to have these procedures would be expired! ***** told me that the Supervisor would be calling me to discuss this issue and offer some kind of compensation for all of the cancellations and time I took off work, but she never called me back.. I called the office again a few days later and was told she would call me but its been a week and no call. I called the main office today, and they are telling me that they will not refund or cancel my contract because the only way they will cancel it is if I am pregnant or have a health issue contraindicating these procedures. These people are so unreliable and unprofessional I would not trust them to work on a corpse! My time frame is about to run out and these people are trying everything they can to keep my hard earned money for a scam!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am a Registered Nurse and I would never trust another RN to perform Botox injections, not to mention the fact that you do NOT HAVE AN MD SUPERVISING ANY OF YOUR PROCEDURES!!! I was not told this when you signed me up for this! This office has canceled over 3 appointments on me, telling me that they did not have any providers to perform the procedures, as well as just nobody being in the office for my last appointment! I took off work twice for this and these people cant even have the courtesy to notify me that they canceled my appointment!!! Apparently they had a bunch of nurses just quit, I wonder why!!! How am I supposed to trust a company like this??? Honestly, headquarters really needs to take a good look at this situation and reassess!i expect a full refund and an apology!

2-3 weeks ago, I went to go get a touch up on my face and underarms. After the lady was done lasering me, I realized she did not get everywhere on my face. I could feel her not going in a certain pattern but rather jumping around. I told her that I think she missed a couple of areas because I can feel where the laser is at on my face and she told me she got it. I also told the lady up front the same thing and she said that if you see there are missed spots after the hair falls out, call us and we can get you in at no charge. I was 100% sure she didnt get some areas, one reason being I can feel where she is touching me due to sense of touch. The second reason is because I still saw hair leftover, and usually after the hair is all zapped and I see no hair. She told me that they will start to fall out which I knew already but I knew for sure she missed it. After the lady in the front told me, I could come in if I see the hair after the fall out phase at no extra charge, I decided to leave and wait the process. In addition, the lady who was doing my laser was going to start lasering me without wiping my face. I waited to see if she would do it and then told me to put the glasses on and brought the laser towards me and I asked her to clean my face to ensure no *****. Ideal image does nothing but lie about what they are going to do and constantly changing policy and prices. When I signed up, they said I would have lifetime membership if I saw hair ever again after my sessions where i only Pay a certain amount. This time I paid $225 and usually I ************ then that. Its like I have to think about everything they say carefully and make sure I have proof of what they are going to do because If not, they are going to take my money and not do the job properly.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
It does not make sense for me to pay discounted or not for something that wasnt my fault. Why would I pay for areas that were missed by the provider? I paid over $200 for a TOUCHUP, I expect good quality service. I even suggested if they can treat the small areas they missed probably less than 7 zaps when I came in for my hair removal for other areas and they said no. It is frustrating because I told the provider after she was done that I felt she missed the spots and also told the lady in the front what do I need to do if they dont fall out? She said I can come in at no extra charge and just call in. When I call, they say I cant and I have to pay again. It is VERY unprofessional that they arent holding up to what they say and also not following protocols. I also know that there are thin hairs that cant be lasered because it is too thin but I knew she missed the spots because I can feel the laser and she was not going in order. Furthermore, she did not use the light either. I would not go out my way to write a complaint this far but it is frustrating because one thing is being said, and it is not being done. I am paying a lot of money for this so I do expect PROFESSIONAL AND HIGH QUALITY SERVICE.
Sincerely,

Ideal Image has charged my credit card for $299 without my approval. I was told the one time $299 fee initially was for a lifetime membership, yet they are trying to charge me again without authorization. I was not informed of any recurring charges nor was I told that my payment method would be saved by their company. This is unacceptable and a shady business practice. Furthermore, I am still seeking to receive the thousands of dollars that ideal image still owes me on my account for services not rendered. I tried to seek the services but was constantly canceled on. Furthermore, I then found out that they were re-using single use vials of Botox on multiple patients. This was told to me by one of their own nurses and it resulted in an investigation with the *****************************. So, now, I do not feel like I can safely receive services from Ideal Image when I hear they are not complying with state law. I want the $299 charge reimbursed to my credit card and I want a refund check for the remaining account balance. I have tried to contact ideal image but am left on hold for hours or hung up on! This is absolutely unacceptable.Business Response

I was asked to do a zoom call to get treatment at a reduced price, rushed and obligated to have the consultation that day within one hour before the sale ends, so I was transferred to a consultant to get the Botox special and Presidents Day discount.I was told to e sign for a credit check, and ensign again that I was over 18 and to copy and paste a security code to secure my information such as my SSN and debit card number. The only contract that I knowingly signed was ally lending contract, which included a page with the price of the Botox, laser hair removal and filler (not specified). This was not the treatment I wanted for my face. I was never even asked if I wanted these, or offered anything else. When I hung up I realized this was wrong and I called Ally lending to cancel, rescind, terminate, stop payment on my loan and then contacted ideal image and asked them to cancel. I terminated , cancelled, rescinded and revoked any agreements ( if any, I did not knowingly sign any contract with ideal image) with Ideal Image and Ally Lending. When I contacted ideal image, the employee assured me, repeatedly swore and promised me that the service was canceled and I would not be charged and stated that she completed the cancellation process on her end and I should not worry that it was done and again said that I would not be charged. You need more employees like her Today I received a voicemail from an executive case manager, when I tried calling back I was in hold from 240pm- 4pm, no answer. Theres nothing to discuss, no services rendered, services canceled, they need to give Ally Lending their money back.Business Response
