I inquired about getting my business on ******. The gave me a 1 time fee, which was at the time. Then sent a dozen emails and phone calls where I was confused and signed another form for services at 199/ month. If I know that i would never have signed it. The have lying to me from the beginning. I told them not to call between 8-3 and I get at least a dozen a day from different people. Then the want **** meetings to help with my business, which is on BBB. They never show on the Zoom meetings (3 times). Then email and thank me for my cooperation in helping my business. Lied I want my initial payment and past payments returned due to lack of doing what they are supposed to be doing. I have plenty of emails if you want proof. I actually made an account with ****** and other platforms myself to do what **** charged me for services that were free to do. It started out with a question to Apex and then they lied. I don't need their services anymore. I did it all within one hour that they still email and call me to talk about. Stating I need to submit things they never even asked for. They wanted information that doesn't need to be shared. For example: account info etc. No video needed to verify like they keep asking. No monthly meetings. Especially not needing the $199/ mon. I just want my money back at this time. All of it since they did nothing. The last email my so called case manager left. So I'm just done. Signed up January 17th, was told within a week an email would be sent with login information. Didnt get it for months. Emailed back and forth for months. To finally get login instructions in June. Logged in and the portal was completely empty. Continued to email and say I want a refund because it wasnt working. Back and forth saying theyd call me, when they would call if I didnt answer no voicemail left. Continued back and forth. The account was thoroughly reviewed upon request. All publications were completed successfully as outlined in the attachment. Due to the expired invitation the portal log in assigned for the account needed to be reset and invitation sent again. This does not mean that no successful work was completed as rendered. The dashboard is still activate and available for navigation it will remain open for the next two weeks to ensure the former client can review the access that was sent over in January. We are more than happy to assign a supervisor call back to assist as well. Due to the nature of the concern we do find the resolution in place in reasonable with the matter of all services being rendered as outlined. I am rejecting this response because it took nearly a month to receive a reply consistent with the delays Ive experienced in every prior interaction with your company. Based on the timing and lack of evidence, I do not believe the actions you referenced were actually completed until this email was sent.
Like many others who have shared similar concerns publicly, Ive found that your responses lack substance and fail to resolve the underlying issue. While you may choose to keep the portal open, there continues to be no data visible on my end.

Apex Media Solutions did call me and left a voicemail. I called them back, and we still HAVE NOT resolved the issue at hand. They refunded 500 of the over 3000 I paid for there services. However that doesn't even remotely cover the loss of business I endured, due to there lack of providing me with what there contract between us said they would provide. Apex Media Solutions is a complete scam. They billed me for months, on a one time payment, and the only thing they ever did was write one ****** business post. Thats it.Meanwhile, they hammered my card six times with duplicate $199 charges, totaling over $1,200, all while delivering zero leads, zero new customers, and zero real visibility. Every bit of progress my business has made came from my own effort, not from *****They sell Premium Directory Subscriptions and marketing services, but in reality they just recycle your own content and bill you over and over. Apex media called me and talk to me about how voice search is seventy percent of advertising for businesses now, they kept going and made it sound to good to be true for $100, so I decided to give it a shot since my business is new and I needed clients. The next day I was suppose to meet with and analysis to go over my account. All the call ended up being was another sales pitch trying to get more money out of me. I tried multiple times to be nice and get off the phone but the man just kept coming with more rebuttals. When I did hang up the phone, I forgot that the laptop was on screen share and the man stated. I don't care about my business and I wasted his and my time. I felt sick to my stomach. Here I am barely getting by and I'm being harassed. I then recieved a welcome email stating my account was active so I figured might as well see what I'm paying for. The 1st call took place on 8/28/25. 2nd call was 8/29/25. I looked at the account on 8/30/25. And when I went to sign in on 8/31/25 there was no account. My user could not be found. I messaged the company and recieved a automated response that they would contact me and nothing. I have already contacted my bank to dispute the payment. This account was reviewed by management in order to address the concerns presented. Our telephone log was reviewed as well. All 21 publications were successful as outlined above. All measures were taken on our end to ensure there was no further billing to the account as of August 29th, 2025. The full program was to be utilized. Our telephone log was reviewed as well. Following this it was concluded there was no correspondence outlining trouble still occurring regarding the access to the portal or requiring further assistance to address concerns. We are deeply apologetic that we were unable to provide the customer service needed and did not resolve this quicker. Any assistance in reviewing the information is still a possibility if needed! Despite the delay with logging in to the portal, this does not prohibit or retract that services were fully rendered as outlined. I am rejecting this response because:I did not just contact the BBB, due to not being able to get into my portable. I contacted them due to the strong arm sales tactics I had to endure. And when I tried to call the company to speak with someone all my response was, is that what I paid for wouldn't work because I needed to spend more money with their company. They lied from the start. They should of never contacted me telling me that voice search is 70% of how I can be found and then turn around and call me again and state it is only 5%. They are not fully affiliated with ****** and should be up front when they are on the phone trying to take people's money. As of September 4th, 2025 the account was reviewed and escalated. We do find that this complaint was placed prematurely and are disheartened by what has been claimed against the company and its integrity. A thorough investigation was conducted on the account regarding the areas of concern. At a minimum 24 hours is allotted for a review to be conducted properly. We had resolved this matter in less than 24 hours. The accusation made is on false pretenses as we are entirely compliant regarding the exchange of information with potential and active clients especially payment information. This was proactively disclosed and relayed to the former client. Despite company guidelines and services being fully rendered Apex Media Solutions had already been deemed as amicably resolved and honored the request placed. A supervisor will be touching base to discuss this matter further being that the complaint was placed following the review. We wish for this complaint to be resolved. Yesterday, August 25th, I was called by these folks who wanted to sell me their voice recognition advertising. I was up for the challenge and paid what was, according to the representative at the time, a one time fee of $99.99. Everything was fine, but after some reflecting, I thought now would not be a good time as I have other things to worry about being a college student. I was aware of the refund policy and knew if I called within 24 hours, I would have a huge chance at cancelling without any loss, but if that weren't the case, it was okay, $100 is not much to worry about. So, I called the company the next morning looking to cancel services. I then find out from this particular representative that I would have been charged a $19.99 recurring fee, despite being told otherwise. Again, I was okay with simply putting this aside, but with this level of dishonesty shown, I would like my money back.Business Response

On August 21, 2025 I was contacted by *********** (whose parent company is Apex Media Solutions) on potentially getting my business advertised on voice platforms and getting profiles for all those platforms (i.e. ****** My Business, etc). A day later I was directed to their senior analyst and was told that only the voice platforms will be completed and that the other stuff I wanted would be an additional charge of ****** per month. I thought that was outrageous but the represenative said that I could NOT get a refund on my current payment and the only way to get what I originally wanted was to pay. I filed a fraud complaint with my bank and am doing so here so hopefully I get the ***** I payed back.
