      I ordered a phone through Tracfone for my husband for Christmas. We got the phone and the phone did not work at all. Not at all! He went on the chat and they told him we would have to pay for the phone to be shipped back. He called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that what the chat person told him was wrong. Was told a new phone was being shipped out and was giving a ticket #. When it didn't arrive he called the automated number and was told it had been shipped. Still no phone 2 weeks later. Got on chat and they person told him he had to send this broken phone back first ( not what the supervisor told him ). Now he is back on the phone with them and we will see what happens this time. Tracfone has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. After this we will file a complaint with the BBB. If this isn't resolved, I will also charge the return fees to **** and file a complaint with **** and have the charges removed. The worst part is that I had Tracfone and they did the exact same thing to me. I left them and went with another service. So, this is a scam they are doing to people. Without a doubt. It is fraud and they should be investigated as such.

      if I could give a zero I would. I ordered a cell phone from HSN with one year pre paid. It seemed like a good deal but not so. I needed a new phone since I washed and dried my old one so it no longer works. I spent hours trying to activate my new one and I ended up sending it back. It is hard to understand customer service as the are all foreigners and totally inept! It took me forever to activate my old one. I am done with cell phones. They are a BIG HEADACHE! Tracfone will not get another ***** from me!

      They couldn't activate my phone. Finally got a rep who I couldn't understand, but was no help. I had to switch servers.

      customer for 20 years when change from 3g to 5g phone lost phone no had 271 min service to **** told to buy new phone and they would switch every thing spent several hrs on phone with customer service would not unless i buy a activation card why should i buy activation card ? a very sad way to treet old customers

      I have been a Tracfone customer for nearly 30 years. Two weeks ago my husband's phone was intermittently not to able to receive calls. It would go straight to voicemail. I called Tracfone and they did various things to it and then it would work for a little while and start doing it again. After about 5 or 6 calls I was sent to the management direct response hotline. Once again all the tests were done. Then he could no longer make calls. Bottom line was: Tracfone is now owned by ******* and my husband's sim card was ******** and they no longer use ********. We had purchased a Tracfone ******* sim card but was told there was no *************** in our area with Tracfone yet. So he has a $400.00 one plus 7 phone that he can't use because Tracfone says it is no longer compatible. Even though he's had it with them for 2 years. And my phone uses **** which I was told is no longer used by Tracfone. So I could get shut off at any time also. We were told we would get a warning and then be able to migrate the service. Instead they just dump you with no warning!! We will be left with no service and as elderly customers that is NOT a good thing! Something has to be done about this!!! -zero stars

      I have been with TracFone for many years but this last year they have been awful. I can't make calls or send messages. Oh I called them twice because the first call they disconnected me and I still don't have a working phone so I off to another service. Bye TracFone you piece of garbage.

      Absolutly the worst customer service ever. Every time I want to buy more data I have to waste hours on the phone with tech support. These people have NO tech knolege After i have wasted hours with know nothing call center employees the connect me to real tech support at the corporate level and the problem gets solved if they are open. till next time.

      I have had a tracfone for years with minimal problems. Suddenly I can't make or receive calls. Their customer service is pretty much nonexistent. When I attempt to chat with a rep, I'm number 370 in the queue or something ridiculous. No one ever gets back to me. Their generic response to anything is to call them. I can't make calls! I just tried to go to my account to stop the auto refill and got the same runaround. I'm getting a phone through Consumer Cellular, but it's doubtful I'll ever get through to someone to stop the monthly charge on my credit card! This has been the most frustrating experience! Zero stars!

      Straight talk isn't worth going too! Service runs you around without resolve. Unless you like being on the phone for 20 -30 minutes at a time. They don't note accounts. To much money for nothing! Stay away!Not worth a star!

      --I agree 100%. Tracfone is absolutely the worst. I was their customer for about 10 years and put up with their absolutely abysmal customer service. My last attempt to deal with the lasted 7 days and I spoke to at least 20 service representatives and my phone is still not right. Nineteen of them did not speak comprehensible English or did not understand English and/or were totally incompetent. I highly recommend that Tracfone be avoided at all costs.
