      For a pre-paid phone they don't make it easy to do instant add-ons. One day I had plenty of minutes and then for the next month I couldn't figure out why I was having so many issues with incoming and outgoing calls while texts were working and all outgoing calls went to a Smart Call customer support phone tree that offered no option for me to get to anything other than something like buying a new phone. Since I had a home phone I used that in place of cell but have no idea of calls missed the past month which include calls related to IRS tax issues I urgently need resolve. I checked blocked numbers and account balance on calls when I realized I was having issues. Soon after I noticed I had ZERO minutes (it was like they were erased) and no easy way to refill through their app or website for me to track daily. No way I used the minutes that were attached to my phone since I don't spend that much time on it. Literally can go full week not talking on cell (I still have a Land Line). If I could get an auto statement on my phone that shows calls and minutes and balance for calls placed/received and minutes/charges related I would have no argument. Why isn't that offered? They obviously have the information since it is used to determine minutes used. Why is that not an opt-in option for phone owner? **************** outside of sales is non-existent/impossible to find. I've been thrilled with TracFone for years but sometime within 2022 things seemed to go bad. I'm still with them because I should have a boatload of credit with them. I am still out of minutes at this time but am thinking of switching if things don't get figured out. Pre-paid worked so well for a minimal user like me that shouldn't have to pay over $30 or $40 / month for call service I seldom use. Text options have been great though.

      Tracfone customer service representatives are not trained properly and demonstrate age discrimination against seniors and their needs.

      Tracfone is the worse. They took my money and sold me a ***** card that did not fit the phone that they sent me. They told me I had to buy another card. I did. It too did not work. They said they would send me a replacement, it has been a month, I have still have not received a replacement. I called. All the representative wanted to do was sell me another ***** card. She stated she did not have a supervisor. This is hours of time and no resolution.Please warn consumers not to use Tracfone.

      TracFone is the worst company I have ever encountered. 17 phone calls, and I have yet to resolve my issue. Senior management should be fired and then rot in h*** CDRs are prohibited from seeking help to resolve an issue TracFone is text book of how NOT to run a business

      I have been a cust. over 8yrs. I have two prepaid phones through them. i believe this companY hires contracted people who do not communicate with each other and tracphone. i am trying to transfer my phone number from tracphone to xfinity a new ****** pixle 6a that i cannot use for over two months. i have a 80yr old mom who still drives she needs a phone when she out and about. i also need a phone when i am driving since my phone doesn't work we have only one phone for two cars just to stressful. i filed a complaint with the *** two weeks ago tracphone sent me a replacement phone to me but have not transferred phone # over to XFINITY yet. i cannot get a direct contact to xfinity headquarters. i have called their direct number a month ago. i talked with a person from Tracphoneheadquarters for 18 min. told me a phone was being shipped to me. my phone was broken just before i tried to ship to tracphones warehouse in Tennessee. i didn't need another phone just needed my acct. # andthe transfer pin sent over to Xfinity.

      Totally agree Tracfone is the worst business I ever had to deal with. They sold me an Apple I-PHONE SE, that locked me out of the phone . I tried to get help from Apple, but the closest one to me is an hour and a half drive. I bought the phone only a month ago, and I am on a fix income and really cannot afford to be out a few hundred bucks. Tried for nearl 5 days with tracfone to get something resolved. They finally sent me a new SIM card to put back in my old Android. Received the card , went thru all the steps, ant the person tells me the card is no good in my zip code area, and go out and purchase another one. This went on for 5 days. Tracfone is the worst businees I have ever dealt with, and will never do it again.

      After calling customer service for the last 5 days, they say they can not help me because I have not used a credit card with them anytime in the last 90 days.I bought 6 TracFones, with unlimited talk, text and data, from Home Shopping Network 3 years ago just before Christmas. These were supposed to be gifts for my grandchildren. My daughter gave her children new phones that same Christmas, so I have given my 2 grandsons a new tracfone for the last 2 years. One of the ***** got dropped and stepped on, so it can not be opened to retrieve any information from it, so I am trying to set up a new fone with the number of the fone that was destroyed, but Tracfone says they can not verify my account without sending a text to the broken fone and verifying the credit card number I have used in the last 90 days.I can not do either of these things, so they say I can not set up the Fone. Thank God I will be done with their company in a little over a year, and they will never have any more dealings with me or my family. So far out of 4 ***** I have lost 6 months of service because of **** poor customer service and idiotic policies.

      TracFone is not reliable nobody can help you when you call they put you on a silent hold and eventually hang up it is very hard to understand all the representatives nobody speaks fluent English and they also charge your card multiple times even though your transaction has been declined or processed once.

      Been with Tracfone for years. All of a sudden, couldn't make or receive calls. Numbers were "restricted." "Announcement 19." I realized I'd accidentally run out of minutes. I bought some more. Still had a problem. Bought a new SIM card. Still had the problem. Finally, an agent tried "one last thing" and fixed the problem. A few weeks later, problem returned. I switched to Straight Talk (another of the ******* companies). Tried to activate phone. They declined my credit card, debit card and Paypal, although there's nothing wrong with any of them. Bought an **** card, then discovered Tracfones are locked and can't be used with another carrier unless you're going overseas, or something like that. Put the Tracfone SIM back in and contacted them. I said, "whatever the agent did to fix the problem, can you do it again?" I was informed "our records show you are now a Straight Talk customer."OMG! WTF!

      I went from ******* trac phone,paid ****** dollars for the phone, phone never worked right since I bought it. Have to turn wi fi off to receive texts, cannot make a call with wi fi on, try to make a call,it says service is not available for voice calls.have to restart phone at least 5-8 times a day to make or receive calls. Trac phone tells me I must send my phone back to them,be without a phone for 2-5 weeks before I can get a new one. MY LIFE ISN'T WORTH 2 CENTS WITHOUT MY LIFE LINE. I AM DIABETIC, HAVE HAD 6 HEART ATTACKS,5 STROKES,I HAVE COPD ADVANCED PSEROSIS OF THE LIVER,NOT LONG LEFT TO LIVE. IT TAKES AMBULANCE 2 HOURS FOR A AMBULANCE TO GET HERE. WITHOUT A PHONE I AM A DEAD MAN, BUT THEIR POLICY'S ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN A CUSTOMER.I WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY,BUT TRAC PHONE REFUSES TO HELP A 69 YEAR OLD, TOTALLY DISABLED VETRAN, TO STAY ALIVE A LITTLE LONGER. THAT IS TOTALLY U NAMERICAN . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STRAIGHT TALK OR TRAC PHONE TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.
