      My screen on cell went dark. Contacted TracFone and tried to fix problem, couldn't, but said they'll send a new phone. Was to mail back my phone then they'll process and send new one. Never got the postage sticker to use. I sent phone back and PAID postage. It was delivered on August 4, and after 3 times talking to tracass fone CS, they STILL haven't received my phone. Today is August 25. They can't process my new phone until they receive MY OLD PHONE!! Where is that phone?? Won't (or they don't want to) do anything to settle my account. Had *********************** over 15 years and product, service, gotten WORSE. Did they merge with *******? If so than that's where problems started! Now wonder which phone and carrier is best for me, at a decent cost. TracFone is THE WORST cell phones to buy.

      My calls have been dropping continuously, on every call for the past month. ******** I have no cell service at all. I've reported this to Tracfone multiple times and they could not find the problem. I paid in full for a year; I requested to cancel my service and want a refund. I was denied any refund

      I have been a customer for 20 years. The last 2 years, I have received extra refill charges. Once, I had thecredit card company delete the charge. This month it took me an hour (online) to delete the ********* looks like FRAUD TO ME.

      I ordered a phone and it was never delivered. *** said I needed to contact TracFone to initiate a claim and TracFone says that once it's delivered to *** it's no longer in there hands and I need to file a complaint myself with ***. Horrible customer service that send me round and round for hours with no resolve and now I'm just out $147. NEVER AGAIN

      Opened service over 4 years ago and bought an IPhone XR for our son. Paid religiously on time and bought additional data. We were the clients for which carriers want. We decided to move carriers as he is in college and needs hot spot ability. We find the phone is locked. Now the *** has warned carriers that phones must be unlocked once any commitment is finished. Mind you phones bought with Tracfone are paid in full and have no package or coverage contracts. That said, we have certainly surpassed any reasonable contract. Calls to Tracfone are difficult and service stinks. They offer to fix immediately then cannot. We then are told it would update by next morning guaranteed. nope ! We currently have multiple complaints, *** record , and they still have not resolved. Next promise is the same tomorrow. They should have to return every ***** paid for not properly adhering to their part of the agreement. You failed Tracfone.

      Had a complex situation and dealt with three chat agents. The first one, Remar was extremely rude. I've never had an agent like him before. When I followed his steps and the issue wasn't resolved, he just said well I did such and such, I don't know what to tell you. Though the situation was not heated, he initiated a hostile conversation. After I asked to be transferred to another agent, he said, I was just doing my job. I didn't even attack him! I responded that I understand, but I need to chat with someone who knows more and can help me since he was telling me he couldn't do anything more. He got upset, and by this time I was now getting mad. I asked to please transfer me now, but he wouldn't. I took note of his name because he really shouldn't be in this job. He not only has terrible customer service, but he didn't know how to do a simple transferring of numbers which created a complicated situation. He doesn't appear to be knowledgeable at all. I made up my mind to leave tracfone after using them for years because of this horrible situation where they lost my number that I relied on for so many things. The reason for the 5 stars is because of Sharlyn! In one last attempt at recovering my old number and service, I called customer service. I did not expect much at all since Tracfone customer service has usually really sucked which is also why I wanted to leave. I usually have to be on the phone for 3 hours and be transferred multiple times explaining the same problem to each agent. Sharlyn was professional, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and cared to fix it! She got my number back and even helped me with another side issue! She didn't keep making me go in circles and had it all resolved in an hour, and I didn't even have to transfer once. Advice to Tracfone. Keep people like Sharlyn. She does a great job and is pleasant on the phone. People like her can cause people to change their minds and stay as customers.

      Absolutely horrible customer service. First of all its hard to understand them and they are complete idiots. Spent a total of 6 + hours over 2 days to resolve an issue. First representative had me do a wipe and reset. The phone ended up locked. Second phone bought but they still couldnt activate it with spending hours of complete incompetence. Issue never resolved. This company has absolutely the worst customer service.

      After having my tracfone for two months it stopped working. After over two hours on the phone with their customer service department which was over seas they told me the phone needed to be sent to a ********* location and they would send a replacement phone. At the time of the call a shipping label was emailed to me. The damaged phone was immediately returned to them. However, a replacement phone was never sent.After four weeks I called customer service again. Again, I was told a replacement phone was in the process of being shipped.After a week I called again. This time, a recorded message said the phone was shipped. As of this writing I still have not received a phone.we are going on almost three ********* not buy their product!

      I am very disappointed with TracFone's online services and technical support. I wanted to use my own phone and I asked the support how this can be done. They told me to purchase the *** card from their website, and I did. When I received the card, I contacted the tech support to activate it. Another tech support agent took the information and informed me that I have an old *** card that cannot be used and that I need to purchase a new one. I explained to them that I had been advised by one of their tech support agents and had just purchased it from their website, so how could it be old? They didn't want to listen to my explanations, just kept repeating that I need to purchase a new *** card from a ******* or any other retail store where *** cards are sold. I asked for a supervisor, but they said it's not possible. They also said that they cannot send me a new *** card and cannot issue a refund. After thirty minutes of useless conversation, I stopped the chat. I think it is very unprofessional to sell something that cannot be used and not to offer a refund for a defective product that they sell. I advise customers to avoid this website and the company altogether.

      Bad customer service, they don't know how to fix issues, don't ever use data with card cause it doesn't work, 2- step verification is set up with other profile number , with glitches and same with my account .
