      Tracfone is terrible. Over Christmas I tried to reach my wife who was being treated at the hospital and I'm cut off from service with their text implying that I'm late on payment which I have never been. A year earlier same experience as I'm trying to locate my sister in law at the airport. Think I'm returning to ************ from **

      I am a long time customer of Safelink. Can login but no phones (or hidden). So I went to Tracfone, Couldn't create an account, but they had phones. (both companies and eight or nine other names owned by *********** which is owned by Verizon).(12/02/2023) ordered and shipped (12/06/2023) delivered. Unboxed for a review and the phone did not have a sim card tray, just a hole in side of phone.(12/07/2023) contacted support, after 45mins of the script(s) from the non-english person (the sim this that.. etc), I said return instead of exchange. Was elevated elsewhere, was told a shipping label and instructions would be emailed for a return.(12/08/2023) no email, called support, elevated again. Was told previous rep didn't do it right and they would take care of it and send email.(12/09/2023) no email, called support, elevated, disconnected. Called back, same procedure all four times I called to resolve this.(12/09/2023) sent email to TFCorpResolutionTeamattracfonecom (12/10/2023) contacted support twice, disconnected (12/11/2023) called Miami, transfered to support. Was told label would be sent.(12/18/2023) still ne email, called Miami, disconnected, called back and informed the non-english person if they hang up it goes to my lawyer. On hold a minute, disconnect.This filing, among others along with council/lawyer(s) if needed, is/has been filed. Timely matter expired. All I wanted was return label and refund for a defective product.I refrained from what needed to be said here, for now.

      I was a customer of TracFone for about 10 years. My phone was getting old so I decided to purchase a new phone from TracFone. TracFone advertises that you can keep your existing phone number when you get a new phone. After receiving the new iPhone 12 in the mail from the TracFone web site I tried to activate it and was told by Tracfone that I could not keep my existing Tracfone number and they would only unlock my new phone if they gave me a new number to use for I think at least 3 months. I did not want to get a new phone number so I went to Verizon who were able to transfer my phone number but I needed to get my new phone unlocked. TracFone would not unlock my phone. Given the situation, wanting to keep my existing phone number, I purchased another expensive iPhone from Verizon and opened an account with them. I now have a $540 phone locked that I can only use with a new phone number at Tracfone nor with another provider. All I want is Tracfone to unlock my iPhone 12 that they sold me with the understanding that I could keep my existing phone number. They sold me a phone and then said, oh you have to change phone numbers if you want to use that phone and you cannot use the new phone with any other carrier. An added note -- I have talked to at least 8 different staff at TracFone trying to get satisfaction. One person actually told me the phone was unlocked but later I found out it was not.

      Company has completely changed since ******* bought it. Bought and paid for minutes/texts/data are not credited or useable. **************** is the worst, more evil. Lies to you like you're a little child, blaming your phone, hangs up all the time in the middle of a call. All the time is not an exaggeration.

      Worst customer service i have experienced for a long time. Talked to 10 support agent the majority didnt care to help and the 1 or 2 that tried the company policies blocked them from being able to fix the problem.

      I have been a Tracfone user for ***** with no problems until this week. Phone became useless on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Spent the next 4 evenings on with tech support. Was finally able to use as a phone only on Friday. When I logged back into my account on Friday evening after not being able to send/receive texts or use my mobile data, and saw that all of my accumulated texts, data were gone and almost all of my airtime. Called tech support to resolve this issue and was informed the only was to restore full function was to buy more benefits. Keep in mind that I am on an automatic renewal every 60 days with 35 days remaining. Somehow 10K of talk, 2K of text, and 21.5GB of data went missing while I could not use the phone. Tech support was useless and would or could not resolve issues and would not let me speak to a supervisor to restore my accumulated service. I believe since ******* took over Tracfone service/support have been going downhill. I will be looking into alternative service providers.

      Tracfone has been very difficult to work with over the years, and now that we have decided to use another provider, it's apparently impossible to get them to unlock the sim card on one of our phones! It's been weeks since I put in the request, and whenever I call to get a status report, I'm told 24 to 48 hours and they'll send me an e-mail when it's done! I have not been able to get an answer about what the hold up is, and I'm so done with them! One star is too good for them!

      Tracfone is the worst. They used to be good but now they are terrible. I bought an iphone se 3 from their website. Just spent a whole evening trying to activate it. Overseas customer service is totally clueless. Dont know how to return this phone. The worst.

      Over the last 2 months, I've experienced some really sketchy behavior from Tracfone, who's been my carrier over the last 10 months or more. They've been giving me end dates of service later in the month that don't match the original end date they gave me when i renewed service... their later end date quote's been 2 days earlier than originally quoted & when i called to speak to them about it, they tried to doubletalk me into thinking it was my ********* had to tell them i had a screen shot of the original renew date they posted to their website the day i renewed last month. So, i had to argue with the rep & ask her repeatedly why their site originally gave me a 2 day difference from the renew date they currently have on record & when she couldn't come up with an answer, she put me on hold to talk with 1 of her bosses, then the call mysteriously got dropped from their end & i still haven't called them back because i truly feel they're trying to rip me off & if i call them back today, i'll get into a heated argument with them, which i don't want to do today. So, i read a few of the reviews other customers have posted here to see that i'm not alone & i'm scratching my head at why Tracfone still has a business at all!! 777 ******************** still running a racket? BBB, there's got to be a way to stop Tracfone from victimizing more people!

      Ordered a phone that was in stock on website sixteen days ago (Dec 4th, 2023). Phone is still pending remote fulfillment and has not shipped as of Dec 20th, 2023. Called last week to cancel order and was told to wait three more business days. I have used tracfone for years with no issues but this episode has shown me their customer support is now terrible. I would like to get my order cancelled for a full refund at this point and will be calling them again today. They should not have advertized the phone as being in stock on their website which is one reason I chose the phone. That is deceptive marketing. Recommend using some other supplier unless you are comfortable waiting weeks for a phone.
