      I have been cheated by Tracfone and have begun the process of disengagement by directing the business to cease and desist charging my bank card for additional service or any other purpose. Currently I have paid for service in advance but the concern has corrupted my phone to the point that I cannot make or receive calls. I have obtained telephoine assurance that they will cease and desist chaging my credit card for service and paid cash for the the telephone which I will now throw away. Initial contact with Tracfone illicited garbled speach that tracfone would not restore my service but suggested that i call a number for step by step instructions on how to re-program my phone. NO! I do not work for tracphone, they do not pay me. I have paid them to provide cell phone service which they failed to do and concomitantly defrauded

      Bought the phone from home shopping network. But it didn't work right. So I sent it into trackfone who held the warranty. And they were to exchange the phone. I called twelve times I had proof they got my phone $200 they will not Send an exchange or send my old phone back. Lied to me Repeatedly. they are the most horrible company I have ever come across.

      Have had ********'s for over *********************** August 2023 Bought new phone to replace old one was not allowed to keep old number due to new security measures i lost **** min plus phone . Jan **** New phone lasted 4 months and shorted out . had extended warranty on it filed claim was told to contact ******** was given a ticket number and return label and send back to Tracpone to warehouse , they received package on Jan 19 **** . have spent 8 hrs arguing with them .corporate says they have send text message to that phone to validate it .kind of hard to do when you mailed it in to be replaced.serial number doesn't matter , warranty doesn't matter, ticket number doesn't matter CROOKS 2 Phones 5 $100 phone cards out the window **********

      Tracfone customer service is incompetent, equally bad is the automated voice and chat services.I refuse to comment further due to the fact that I've wasted enough time dealing with them.Just thinking of my dealing with them @mutiple x's for many issues is frustrating.Not worth anybody's time in any way, shape, form or manner.

      Got year service today worked for 3 hours and shut it off tried verifying pin and code that never arrived in email 2nd time this has happened to me ever since ******* took over they disconnect you even when you purchased the service

      I had had over twenty GB of data saved up , evidently it was all used up watching parts of a couple of videos on ******** then they asked me to purchase a 10 GB plan for $40, which would probably be gone in minutes also. My Lifeline phone doesn't eat up data anywhere near as quickly as this TracFone, but that one always drops calls, so they both stink. I have Assurance Wireless for Lifeline, or Affordable Connectivity, they might call it now. Feels like a ripoff.

      All I can say is..... STAY AWAY!!!! They will give you every excuse in the world why your having problems. Your phone's not compatible with the new towers, but you are qualified for a new phone. I never got it. Told I needed a new sim card, it didn't work. Then someone fixes my phone and everything is ok. Every month this happens! This time I'm told "you're not getting a new phone". On and on it goes. I'm using my husbands phone to post this. Beware!!

      1 star is a gift to these clowns. I have used a tracfone for 3 yrs now. I had 49 GBs carried over. I never missed a refill.in fact I had always paid months in advance. All of a sudden ,,all my data gets erased and I'm back to square 1 So I call their customer service to find out why. What a horror show this turned out to be. I spoke to 3 different reps. *** spent 3 hrs on the phone and barely understand what they were saying. They had me do all these different things I asked if this would get me my data back and they told me . My phone is working fine. Then asked again how much data will I get back. She told me she's not allowed to give out that information.. So I asked to speak to a manager and she informed me they are not allowed to do that. I don't know how they stay in business. Soon as my paid time is up,I will be shopping for a different provider. By the looks of these reviews I won't be the only one.

      I have used Tracphone for years with my main problem being the **************** representatives being from *****. I am unable to understand them when they read from a script as fast as they can over background noise.If I ask them to please slow down as I do not hear well at ******************************************The final straw for me is what they have done since announcing they are now with Verizon.My phone was unable to use my mobile data so I completed instructions to fix it.I had accumulated 38GB of carryover data and have used a most of it ahead of the date where they claim ALL carryover data will no longer apply.I called to verify what I had remaining and was told over 5GB untill March 24th when everyone will lose all carryover data.Five days after that my mobile data stopped working,texted to see balance was 0.I called again only to be told I had 0 data left when I use WiFi most of the time and 3 GB will last me 30 days with heavy use.When I asked to see a supervisor I was told no because ***** said "she was educated " so I need to accept her answer implying that I had the ** of cabbage.I was so angry I reluctantly purchased 2GB of data to last untill I switch carriers.Then she wanted to finish telling me the promotional part of the script to buy more products.I hung up on her after getting her name but the situation is not worth my time.I am glad they just took 5GB of data compared to what has happened to others.If you have Tracphone I recommend you go elsewhere.If you are considering it ,the reviews speak for themselves.
