      one of the worse I ever use. I want to give 0 star. My phone can't access internet after the activation. I made more than 5 calls and they keep repeat the same thing but can't fix the issue at all.

      Don't waste your time or money with these people. You'll spend hours on the phone trying to resolve an issue and it won't ever be solved. They deactivated my 11 year old daughters phone because she was using group text... For the 10 months that she'd had their service. I just spent $100 on a replacement phone (because the one we bought initially quit working after 9.5 months) and they won't unlock it for use elsewhere. They won't credit me for the service they refuse to reactivate. They've also made replacing a sim card in my son's phone a nightmare in the past, so he's on a different service now as well. They're are horrible. I'd give zero stars if I could.

      I have used TracFone multiple times and it gets service other places don't and I will probably use it again but do not EVER sign up for autopay from the phone itself because if you lose the phone there is no way to turn it off. I called and it took an act of Congress to get access to the account because I wasn't in possession of that phone and it didn't link to my prior account because I did it from the phone. But they continued to bill me 2 months for unlimited..TG I found that phone and was able to manually delete it but if the phone had been stolen they could have accessed my bank card while I believed TracFone had deleted it

      Will charge you for canceling your phone service with them even though it is a contract free service and will blame it on a system automation and refuse to refund your money. They charged me the day I switched over to a different cell phone provider and it happened to be the day before they usually auto charge me for TracFone service. A huge waste of time calling the customer service, unhelpful and usually passive aggressive in providing answers. SO frustrating to deal with. ********* claimed to be a manager and said he could not transfer my call to anyone above him, and then back tracked and said he could but he won't since there's nothing that can be done about getting a refund for this. What a ****. Zero stars 10/10 would NOT recommend.

      Tracfone management needs to GO! I lost my phone (my fault) and got a hand-me-down-replacement. Goal was activate this phone assigning it my lost phone number. First had to replace sim card old one had expired. Then went to tracfone website, and selected activate function, entered desired information, then Chat person came on, then had to go to new chat room to keep from being dropped to chat with customer support which never joined chat! Then called customer support which took all my information spelling or keying my IEMI my SIM card, my name my address, my credit card info and stated to turn off my phone and call back. On calling back could not proceed until I entered the verification code they sent to my old phone (the lost one). Repeat this process 4X note. I had tracfone employees tied up for hours and hours over a 2 day period, and probably became verbally abusive. All of this info could be entered on a screen and automated. Note I have a tracfone account, which if it had prompted for IEMI and SIM card number would contain name, address, and credit card info everything I gave verbally letter by letter time after time, but that appears to be inaccessible to tracfone people. Probably security procedure like giving it all verbally over and over to a multitude of support people is really secure. It's all letters and numbers it can't be that hard to computerize! And I could not retain my old phone number because they could not verify credit card, however they could when I paid for a new plan. ******************* for the most convoluted process in the phone industry.

      Sad I had to give one star even. By far the worst company I have ever had to deal with for basic phone service. They were horrible when I had them and even worse when it comes to helping out my elderly mom get her government paid service back. Won't even let us pay to get her phone active. Obviously a bunch of Asians (some of my best friends are Asian and only meant in terms that not from America and more so obviously not in a business center able to get things done as seem to be working from home, but outsourced to a specific community, in this case none of which can help) that can't help. If you use any amount of data you are screwed. I spent more for one line in a month personally than I did for 3 lines, for which I got a free phone per line, and could get nothing done about it. When I tried to get the phone I bought unlocked, after spending $200 in a month for service they asked for $25 more. Now my 72 year old mother has a safe link phone our wonderful government rewarded them with the contract with and we can't even pay to get her phone activated. These foreigners don't give a s*** about elderly women living alone with no phone. They ask questions about credit card information on accounts that none were needed amongst other questions that an elderly lady whose phone they had their workers set up for them does not have, and my mom keeps EVERYTHING. I let them s**** me for a few weeks but they will take advantage of anyone. I strongly suggest to anyone considering this government supported awful excuse of a company to reconsider if there is any chance you may ever need customer service or intend on using any data. Surprised the BBB even associates with this sad excuse of thrives.

      Stay away from tracfone. They tell me my new phone has no plan for data and internet service. Yet they can tell me how many gb is in my balance. **************** just gives a person the runaround. Service is bad and customer service is absolutely horrible.

      DO NOT BUY!!! I'm homeless with my 9 year old daughter living in the car. I bought a phone and a ********************************************************************************************** when they have a open spot. I did everything that I had to on the account, even called the number it said and after 4 days they tell me I can't get a number cause it isn't compatible with their service... How? The darn phone says TracFone, the 20 dollar card did too and it's not compatible... Save your money and go elsewhere because when you purchase you can't get a refund at all. It states that in the **** recipe. This company is getting richer by the second and thanks to the poor as we try and save our money, go with the cheap and get cheated out of out money. I should had use that to stay at least one night in the hotel... DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. THEY AREN'T HERE TO HELP. THEY JUST WANT TO ROB YOU IN A LEGAL WAY AND ITS SAD.

      TRACFONE is bad news. I got a free phone and limited free data and phone service through the govt. SNAP program. everything was fine until they sent me a notice saying they were switching carriers to ******** then they couldnt or wouldnt activate the new sim card they sent me, After hours and hours of talking to various people i could hardly understand, they told me the sim card was now invalid because i didnt make at least one call a month.(because they didnt activate it) I gave up and tried to switch to qlink. they sent me a new sim card with unlimited phone a data, but i couldnt activate it because they needed a valid cell # i gave them it and they got back to me and said tracfone had locked my phone # so now i have a phone and two sim cards that dont work. all the call in the world will get you nowhere with tracfone, qlink isnt much better it looks like they basically want to hold your phone hostage, and extort you to buy a new one from them. i'm filing a complaint with the b.b.b and the ***

      Wish I had never heard of Tracfone! You cannot get help to solve problems and service people are terribly difficult to understand. I have been trying to get my phone working for over a month and now they tell me that I do not have an active account even though they can tell me my phone number, the number of minutes I have and when my service will end. Representatives tell me they will call me back in ten minutes because they need more time to research the problem. This has happened twice and I was never contacted again. All I want is to activate my replacement phone and have my account transferred to the new phone. These people are crooks and owe me a lot of money for the minutes I cant use.
