      My issue with Tracfone was resolved to my satisfaction within a week of reporting them to BBB.Prior to my reporting I was told by Tracfone management that there was no recourse for obtaining a refund or a credit for a plan that I was charged but completely different from what I ordered and paid for.After reporting to BBB, Tracfone found a way but it included sending pictures to prove my purchase. By the ***** of God, I had screen shots to prove what I had purchased.Tracfone resolved the issue immediately. If I understood correctly it was a computer glitch.It was a small amount of money but the principle is what mattered most to me.

      My wife and I both have been with Tracfone for at least 40 years, as a matter of fact we have never had any other carrier. I have been trying to get a refund on a phone that was to be canceled and moneys returned to our account because it was on backlog which I was never inform of, I purchased another phone that I really did not want after cancelling the first phone, received new phone, activated it then a couple of days latter received phone that tracfone was to cancel, sent that phone back as instructed, going on 2 months now and after numerous phone calls I have a phone that I did not want but was only one in my budget, tracfone has the phone I wanted and money for both phones plus money i paid to ship it back . I have been with this company all these years and have never had a problem like this before someone else bought them, 1st of April I have no other option but to find a new carrier, and I can no longer recommend tracfone to anyone else.

      Easily the worst carrier ever. The system will zero out your airtime balance repeatedly, many reps that are supposedly trained obviously don't know how to verify your balance and they will arbitrarily give you only 500 mb/sms/minutes and no more even if you paid for it, and pretend to not hear you on the phone and then hang up. There are a few people who know what they're doing but it is completely delusional to deal with a company like this if you need to rely on your phone service. Cheap? Yes. But remember not being able to make one phone call at the time you need to *** cost you even more, not just in terms of money but ***be something even more vital. This is NOT a reliable service.

      When the 15 digit scratch off number is "invalid", there is no refund from the store or the service. So I wasted more money on a 3 month card. Now I get to at least see when someone tries to text. Not who, or what they are texting ever. Due to "insufficient funds"...terrible experience from the start~

      If I could I would give them no stars. I paid for my son to have service. He never got his service and they refused to refund my money. I had to go to my bank and hopefully they can help me. Also my daughters phone was stolen and she had the pin. They asked what the numbers was that was recently called, thats crazy because the person who had the phone made the phone calls how was she supposed of known that she was trying to just turn it off? I dont think this company is gonna stay in business too long, not with everything they got going against them.

      Company is horrible. Agents are horrible . One gives me link to add on sms. Goes to link and bounes back. Tell agent but he's not online anymore.!!!The ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!Being on the phone is even worse.Hope ******* can fix this soon or I'm good elsewhere

      We discovered that neither of our Tracfones were working. We called customer service to try and get them working. We spend four to five hours trying to get them fixed. Finally after much frustration they were working. I bought 190 minutes and they gave me an additional 288 minutes for compensation. Total minutes 478. My husband made another call to Tracfone and I checked the time on my phone after that and it said 440 minutes balance left.. Today my phone again was not working so I checked my talk time and it said 0, Message on my phone said discontinued or changed number. Called again to Tracfone and they said we had used all our minuites...8 hours which we had not. So if your phone stops working and you need to buy time and then you spend all those minutes trying to get your phone fixed, INSANITY.I was told I needed to buy more time...why would I buy more minutes when the last ones I purchased disappeared. I'm going to take my number to TMobile.

      This company advertised one thing then denies they ever had the plan you were thinking you were signing up for. They charge what ever they want to charge for services that are crappy. You get English in all prints to get started and then get people who cannot speak clear English. I give no stars for anything they have.

      Tracfone is currently running a bait-and-switch special. If you go to their website (tracfone.com), then select Shop, then Phones/Smartphones, a revolving ad shows up advertising a ******* 15A 5g phone for $89.99. This is a great price for sure. When I click on "Shop Now" to get details, it takes me to a window that lists the phone for $119.99. This is their usual price. No where is there a way to order the phone at the special price. I called and spoke to two reps who basically said that $119.99 is the real price. I told them repeatedly that I wanted to buy it at THEIR advertised price. No one would budge. I discovered this on 2/15/24 and I check every day to see if anything has changed, but the ad still exists as of 2/27/24. They've known about this false advertising for 12 days, and nothing has changed. This is probably against the law and should be addressed immediately. Either remove the ad, or honor the price - you shouldn't be able to have it both ways.I'm submitting a complaint to BBB and I hope a ton of people read this. We've been Tracfone members for quite a few years, but that is about to end.

      I bought a new phone ******* A54. Transferred from a ******* S7 on 02/20/2024. The balance on the S7 was ***** gig of data, ***** minutes and **** texts. When I tried to send a picture with a text message it would not go through. Network error. Called Tracfone several times going from agent to agent. Now they tell me I have only **** mb of data and ***** minutes and ***** texts. I am told that this is what is in their system and there is nothing they can do about it. How can I get more minutes and texts with exactly the same number and lose 17gig of data. They say that this is what is in their system and there is no way to fix it. The system is broken and nobody cares.
