      This company is a bad bad bad bad and bad. If you have a problem good luck. It is the worst company I have ever ever ever dealt with. Save your time and money.

      I got tracfone because it was the cheapest I could get and then I realized its not that great of a service Ive had to call them 4 or more times because it keeps going IN ONE MONTH. And so I said ** not paying another month of it and my friend said she could help pay for another service. And so we bought a better service (straightalk) not realizing that tracfone locked my phone into them when my phone is originally bought from straightalk. And so at first when I tried to put the straightalk service into my phone I thought I needed to cancel my tracfone service so thats what I did and I later on found out that my phone is locked to tracfone. And so they told me I had to pay for another month of service to get it unlocked and so they charged my card on my account and now i cant even log into my account and i cant text or call. And so i dont even know if it will unlock at the end of the month because i cant see my account. But the whole point of this review is to say this service is a waste of money and not reliable it went out all the time and it would fix it self and sometimes it wouldnt and I would have to call them and mind you its longer than an hour call and 4 or more times in one month its not worth all the time and money. DONT GET THIS SERVICE.

      Tracfone would not unlock my phone when I switched carrier. I was forced to buy a new phone after many many calls trying to get them to unlock it.I am furious. There is nothing I can do about it!

      My family has been using TracFone for many years. I recently had to transfer my number to another phone. I can't remember the lady's name who helped me but would like to thank her very much.

      In November 2023 I placed an order for a new phone from Straight Talk. When activating the phone Straight Talk support was not able to activate the new phone and suggested I send the phone back for a replacement and a ticket was open. I received the 2nd phone in December 2023 however the Straight Talk support was not able to activate the 2nd phone either and was returned to Straight Talk. Another ticket was opened because I have not received a new phone or a refund for the phone I returned. I have made serval calls to Straight Talk support team and provided the same information to each Straight Talk agent to find out the status of the replacement phone. The agents have been provided the same answer " please allow 3-5 business days for the replacement phone to be delivered". As of March 2024, I have not received my replacement phone.

      TERRIBLE!!!!!!Bought a tracfone in ** for my sibling, whom I am conservator for. **************** is SO awful. They run off canned scripts and do NOT listen. I have been trying for 3 months to get a response to no avail. I simply want to renew a phone subscription for someone whom I am the conservator for. I need a bill or statement of some kind so that I can submit to the payee. **************** has made excuses for 3 months in a row for why the statements do not reach me via email, or why we cannot reset our account online. The reasons emails do not reach me have been numerous (i.e., we sent, it needs to update, someone already is using that email account, etc.) There is NO validity to these statements. A simple online reset could suffice, so that I can access the account online, but company cannot make that happen. We tried SO many times. They always say "we have reset your email and check from time to time,.. You should receive a reset via email.". Really?? Three months later there is NO email and yes, I have checked my spam folders. I have asked them repeatedly to REPEAT BACK the email address I just gave them to make sure communication was effective. They respond that PER COMPANY POLICY, they are NOT allowed to do this! What? WHY?? They are not allowed to make sure communication is effective? They cannot repeat the info I just gave them? Really suspect. I simply do not understand this. They try to get me to download their app, which I don't want to do. I do not trust this company. I simply want to log into our account online and pay the bill so my conservatee can continue to have phone service. WHY is this so hard? This company feels so deceptive. I do NOT endorse TracFone. Really BAD customer (dis-)service!

      Horrible customer service, over 4 hrs on the phone trying to get texting for my 2 step verification to work. At the end no fix and worse then when I started. They would tell me to hang up and they will call back in 30 minutes to see if problem solved. When they called back it was a differnt rep from tracfone and they would ask me what I need, they had no idea why they were calling me. Soon, I got to start all over again going thru the same steps as the first person that I had called, only to be told again they would call me back in thirty minutes to see if the problem was resolved. THREE TIMES THIS WENT ON OVER 2 HOURS . still not resolved. During all of this somehow all of the data which was over 7 gigs dropped 4 hundred minutes of talk time along with another 500 minutes I had bought at the beginning of this mess along withe over 100 minutes of texting were gone. I Called again got that ************ only to have it all dropped the following day. Again I am on the phone only to be told me everything had expired, which I had bought on cards at ******* and DID NOT EXPIRE.... I asked for documentation on this and was told they did not have that. **************** IS ABOUT LIKE LISTENING TO AN ANSWERING MACHINE VERY SCRIPTED SO NO ONE REALLY HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE, OH AND BY THE WAY IT IS HARD ENOUGH TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SAYING THERE ARE 3 OR MORE IN THE BACK GROUND AND IT SOUNDS LIKE EVERYONE IS TRYING TO TALK OVER ONE ANOTHER. the end

      I've talked to well over 20 people trying to set up this phone in the past 24 hours. I have done every single thing they've asked and I can't transfer my number or even just get a new one because I keep getting sent to new people and then I've been hung up on. I just want to set up this stupid phone with a number already and nobody can just give the same answer or do the most simple task.

      My Dad has been with TF for over 10 yrs. He's 86, only wanted a flip phone, simple right? He has been through 3 flup phones in less than a yr because they just died. Now I have been on the phone so much with them on this last phone. No service, then they tell me that he has no minutes one day, 500 the next. I'm exhausted calling them. Someone deleted his minutes and won't fix it. So sad that we have to go with a different carrier now because TF has become one of the worst companies now. My 86 yr old Dad needs a simple phone.

      Our business used Tracfone and we have been a customer in good standing for quite some time. The business telephone associated with our Tracfone account was stolen. This was reported to Tracfone, and we purchased a new phone through Tracfone. Attempts were made to setup the new phone through our existing account. Finally, after 8 calls, and an excuse about us not being able to use the existing account number, the telephone was connected, In the meantime, Tracfone reactivated the stolen telephone number to our existing account, but the new telephone number was not connected. After repeated calls and failed attempts to receive an email code from them (because you can't receive a code through the phone if it's been stolen - seriously!), they refused to speak with me. This left me unable to close my account and delete the automatic payment information. After trying to call them repeatedly and getting nowhere, I had no choice but to close out my credit card account associated with the automatic billing and block any future payments to Tracfone. All of this hassle because they reactivated a number to a stolen phone.
