      this just happened to me two days ago while trying to get my daughter service for an old straight talk phone I had already had. They stole her number and my $48.92 because I had to buy a new sim card package at Walmart to get the phone activated again, and it is still not working as of today, 06-02-2024. This also happened to me a few years ago. This company needs to get taken out of business. They are ripping people off and stealing our monies.

      Tracfone is worthless now. I have been a customer for over 20 years and have never been treated so bad.I bought a new tracfone and wanted my minutes and time and phone number transferred to the new phone along with a new one year service card. I couldnt get that taken care of because they wanted 3 phone numbers that I called most in the last 60 days. I gave them over 30 numbers right off my recent calls and they said that they dont have a record of any of those calls.I got ****** and told them to give the one year card to my old phone and Ill just keep it. They couldnt do that because they have no record of the last calls that I called the most. So now I have no tracphone at all and Im losing 7500 minutes plus a ****** card plus a new ******* 5 g phone. This problem has been going on since November with the new phone. You get someone from another country everytime you call and they dont know ****.Even if we get this resolved Ill never buy another tracfone for me or my wife. Im not holding my breath about getting this resolved. Call and Ill tell you how I really feel about tracfone

      On May 16, 2024 I purchased a Tracfone sim card ($17.25) and what I thought was an unlimited talk text card ($16.20) from the ******* in ****** *******. When I got back home, 5 hours away the service was still not working and it turns out the ******* clerk sold me a data only card! So I purchased a Talk/Text plan for $16.20 on May 18th. Still only able to make calls and send texts intermittently, I called customer service who informed me only showed a Data plan so I bought another Talk/Text plan over the phone for an additional $10 which was mailed to me days later.Still no service or ability to send or receive talk or text messages I went to the ******* in **********, an hour from home on May 31st. We tried the sim card in a new phone and it still didnt work. June 1st I contacted customer support online who, eventually told me my sim card was not registered properly and offered no help to fix it. I have paid out $49.65 to get a cell plan that, if done right, should have cost less than half that; on top of wasting an entire day and gas driving to Kingman to try and get it working. Still no service.When I asked customer service if they could get me a new sim card Heizel Joy basically ended the chat.

      I paid for my service on 5/13. Now 5/29 service is off and they are telling me I didn't pay even though my next date is 6/11. That my only option is pay more 2 weeks early..

      On web site for cellular family plan it say you can get 4 lines for 100.00$. They only gave us 3 lines for 100.00$ and wanted an additional 70+ for 4th line. When we pulled up web site and read it to them they said they dont have that plan on web site. We have already used the plan twice already so I know that is untrue . Asked to speak to supervisor and was told no. Would appreciate it if you would look into this so no one else will fall into this scam

      **************** Sucks!!I have been online chatting for over an hour and getting transferred like 5 times. I called their customer service and also not helpful, these are the times I wish I could go to a store and deal with someone in person. I am seeking a refund for service not given.

      No stars, they lied to me, they owned up to their mistake and promised refund and a few weeks later still no refund until I call them and they now say no record of mistake or refund, wasted my time, energy, and money, this corporate/management, refund department, and general customer service team cannot be taken serious and I will be laughing for years to come at the amusement this circus provided me, they also mentioned everything is recorded so they could have checked the notes as I initially asked for from May 2nd, corporate tracfone customer service is bad for business, the app doesnt work reliably, need to be investigated for loss prevention reasons to protect the general public from these posers

      Purchased new phone and plan .. activated it .. continuously getting an error message when trying to call out and unable to receive calls. I keep getting an calling restriction message I bc called customer support and spent over 2 hours with tech support only to be told .. wait 24 hours well.. still cant use the service I paid over $200 for

      Avoid this company at all costs. Their customer service is beyond bad. They will tell you they have taken care of an issue, then they will refuse to give you a ticket number for the process. You'll find they've done nothing and you will have to call back to start over and have the same result. The intial service agent will often refuse to pass you to anyone else, saying that anyone else will tell you the same thing. They cannot hang up on you, however, so they eventually do pass you to someone else if you refuse to hang up. Then you are guaranteed to get a different story, but still no action. They will flat out lie to you when they don't have an answer. I've been told both that the issue is solved and that the issue has an error and that I should call back in either 2 or 24 hours to confirm or to fix the problem. Of course, that just puts you back in line because nothing was actually wrong or processed in the previous call. It was just a case of that agent giving up and getting you off the phone.I have spent multiple calls of 5+ hours with them trying to find out if I could port a number to Tracfone, then trying to port the number to Tracfone, then being told the number is not compatible with Tracfone and I would receive a refund, then on the phone again because the account was never closed and the refund was not issued.This is a nightmare company to deal with.

      I bought a phone and used it for 2 weeks and the tracfone provider cut it off after 2 weeks I bought a card for 30 days unlimited talk and text for 30 day . They stole the rest of the days and when I called they lied about saying my phone number was valid and so did the supervisor. This company is fraud and I am still looking for a refund . I will never purchase from tracfone again nor will my family . They deserve no stars . Poor customer service
