      My mom has been in the hospital for over a month. When she was in *** we took her cell phone to her not knowing she couldnt have it in ICU. The nursing staff lost her phone. So I ordered a new one. Through tracfone now I cant activate it because your company requires not only a pin code but the two most recent called numbers! This is an 84 year old woman shes been sick for over a month and her phone isnt even a smart phone I dont understand why this is so difficult to activate her new phone! I was told by your reps that I cant speak to a manager and all they could do for me is activate it under a new number. Ok thats a great idea but can we cancel her existing account that comes out automatically from her checking account? No we cant cancel that cuz you dont know the second phone number that she frequently calls! So my only option to give my 84 year old mom is to have her account charged double for a stupid tracfone! Your company ***** and social media is going to hear about this

      I purchased a ******* Tracfone Bundle from HSN on April 7, 2024. The package came with 1500 minutes, 1500 texts, 1500mb data, and 1 year of service. I wasn't able to send texts with pictures and so I called Tracfone Customer Support Number on May 23 and May 26. Prior to calling them I had taken a screenshot of my balance. April 27, i had ***** minutes, 4048 texts, 1.81gb data, and service end date July 4, 2025 after activation. I mostly use the phone for texting. While speaking with many customer service agents for 3.5 hours my balance was wiped away. A rep said, "you are not able to send texts because you have 0 minutes, 0 texts, and 0 data. They were able to restore some of what I had ***** m ***** texts, and 1.28gb data as of May 28. Last Monday June 24 my balance was wiped away again without talking to Tracfone. I just want back most of the balance I had on April 27. I have been with Tracfone for about 12 years, buying 90 day cards for years. I never had a problem until purchasing and activating this brand new phone A15 5G.

      I have been a loyal Straight Talk customer for over 13 years, but my recent experience with both Straight Talk and Tracfone has been extremely disappointing. After switching to a new ******* Galaxy S23 Ultra two months ago, my service has been nothing short of a nightmare.Recently, I requested a phone number change due to a scam attempt. Straight Talk disabled my SIM card, rendering my phone unusable and preventing me from accessing my bank account since I can't receive verification codes. Despite spending over 8 hours on the phone with various customer service representatives, I received no help and was often disconnected. The representatives, all based overseas, were unable to provide clear explanations or solutions.In an attempt to resolve the issue, I purchased a Tracfone SIM card and service plan. However, Tracfone is now claiming that there is a mismatch between my SIM card and my phone's IMEI number, preventing them from transferring my service from SIM B to SIM A. This should not be the case, as I only have one phone. As a result, I have service plans that are unusable, resulting in a significant waste of money. The lack of effective support from both Straight Talk and Tracfone has caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss. I am also concerned about potential fraudulent activities related to the mishandling of my SIM card and IMEI information.I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the handling of my situation. Despite my long-term loyalty, I feel neglected and unvalued as a customer. I would strongly advise anyone considering Straight Talk or Tracfone to think twice before choosing their services.

      ***** with Tracphone services, refused to help set up my husbands phone with his prepaid minutes etc. She was extremely horrible.

      I purchased a number of TracFones through HSN to get phones to unlock for travel. As a result of this I acquired a lot of minutes, text and data that rolled over on the phones. TracFone stole unused minutes, text and data from my account. After numerous phone calls to Customer Service over a week period of time, the missing services were slowly restored, a little each day. About a month later TracFone stole 16,000 unused SMS text message units from my account. After numerous phone calls to Customer Service I was told these units would not be restored since I had service restored previously. (Previously stolen unused service,) I requested a copy of my record of my text messages that consumed 16,000 SMS. I was refused. I was told it was against company policy to provide customer's service usage. What company does not provide a customer with a receipt of goods and services received? I wrote letters to the CEO of both Verizon, TracFone's parent and Tracfone. Crickets... no response whatsoever. Apparently the leadership of these two companies are on board with cheating customers out of services they paid for, CAUTION: TRACFONE STEALS UNUSED SERVICE !!!!!

      I cant even write my complaint because I dont know where to start and have no patience anymore!!! JUST TAKE MY ADVICE, THIS PROVIDER HAS THE WORSTE EEEVVVEEERRRYYYTTTHHHIIINNNGGG!!! U WILL NEVER STOP TRYING TO FIX PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM AND THERES NO ONE TO HELP U!!!!!!!!

      This complaint involves TracFone also SafeLink Wireless. It has been already reported to the *** and they more or less admitted. They are guilty of fraud, bad business practices and line to the government not just consumers. I am on lifeline program which I should have got free service. I started out with him I didn't service for a month. I've been waiting 3 years for disability to call me or let me know something. The judge called he almost dismissed my case after 3 years of waiting because of them just not giving me service. I called daily. I filed with the state general attorney they called me right away but I decided to be forgiving a little bit thinking they'd get better. I rarely leave the house and I rarely talk on the phone. I had no idea that TracFone was secretly doing unauthorized charges to my bank account for several months. I was supposed to be getting the stuff for free and I was completely you'll never know how much time I wasted on the phone with them. Last I needed to actually call somebody one night one time I used it and I had no service and it was a bad situation I needed it. Next day I told him about it and I canceled I plan on ***************** as for my account and pin got it. That was the day that I filed complaint with the *** they have since been holding my number with no service as punishment. If I'm not mistaken this is against federal law. I have several emails back and forth with them after this complaint they demand that I called them before they release it to me. I'm not required to do that according to attorney I spoke to. Ready to go to court. I want my number back is the only way I can get into the Social Security website and a few others. I can't switch ***** because of them my identity has been stolen! They are putting me in a terrible situation and they know it. I did call one time but ********* was not available.

      Tracfone support, including Chat, sucks! Not able to get help from an actual human. Unable to resolve serious phone issues during several hours of trying over a period of 2 days. I am changing carriers after years with Tracfone.

      The customer service is terrible. They take no accountability to there service quiting on you when you add there service to your phone. Every year I buy the 100 dollar card for calls, text, data and every year when I add minutes the data goes out and I have to call TracFone. No one does anything diff. It's just to keep you on the phone for hours on end days on end to waste your time and nothing is being fixed. Put on minutes Sunday phone stopped working same day with no data. Called that day and everyday up till Friday where they blamed the phone which is new. This has happened to even the phone prior to this losing data when minutes are added. Everyone trouble shoots the phone the same way no actual fix and just a headache all together. I want my money back if the service is not going to work. To lose the money and also not have a working phone. Take accountability because sorry for me is just a word people say but theres not actions behind it. What are you going to do based off me losing all this time spent on the phone with you not able to do anything but turn the phone off over 50+ times. No compensation because they think I've lost nothing. Id like to be compensated so I can take my business elsewhere to be at peace. Honestly one star is being too generous. I would have loved to put none. You don't deserve a star TracFone. Your company has no clue what your doing.
