      They charged my account when they weren't supposed to and now I have an overdraft fee because they will take 3 to 5 business days to replace the money. I am retired and on a very fixed income. They have done this before, as well. Ever since being taking over by ******** it has been a nightmare doing business with them.

      My TracFone was damaged beyond repair. (Run over by multiple vehicles.) I would like to discontinue my current phone plan. I have spent hours researching how to contact an individual to assist with this dilemma. The customer "service" center connects me to individuals that I have a very difficult understanding. They use a canned speech much like a telemarketer, constantly repeating the same sentence. They are of NO help. The individual that set up the phone for me has died and unfortunately did not leave information that I need to discontinue service. I struggle through daily attempts to remedy the situation. I am not a robot. I am NOT attempting a scam to disconnect someone's phone plan. I just want to change phone plans and keep my phone number.

      I sent my phone thru *** like i was instructed to do and 22 days later i still did not have a working phone.Many times i was told it would be 3 to 5 days to get my replacement phone and they always came up with another excuse.So over and over they lied to me as to where my phone was.I was a customer for over 15 years.And never had any complaints!!today a phone arrived and i could not transfer any of my min,data phone contacts ,pictures texts.they said they sent me a confirmation num.to my email and it never arrived.so they told me that i would have to get a new phone num.and purchase and min.,and data plan.i asked to just transfer all of my info from my old phone,and they told to turn on my old phone which was in there possession.i told them to send my phone back to me and they did not know where the phone was and that it was probobly wiped clean.So i lost all that was on my phone.Customer service was absolutly horribile.I will be filing complaints with the *** and the ****

      I was trying to move my phone number from my old phone, whos screen was broken to a point that it looked like 50s era TV snow, and the customer service agent through no fault of their own kept trying to send me text messages on the broken phone and when I asked if there was any other way to verify that i am who i am and i am paying for this phone number she said i would be receiving a call from a customer service rep within 15 min. The old phone could still receive calls so i connected my blue tooth and waited. It is now over an hour later and the phone has not rang. I even had my husband call the phone from his phone and it rang so calls come through. and this is the second time this kind of thing happened. when i had to originally get a new phone i had just paid my phone bill and would NOT refund me when i had to switch to a new phone number. So they will keep your money and if you need to move your phone number from one phone to another hopefully the phone still works and you can see your screen because if not might as well resign yourself to a new number and loosing out on money

      I have been without my cell phone since 6/24. I was told to return the old phone by *** which I did & checked that it was received at their facility on 7/2 at 9:21a.m. Have spoken to 4 managers 7/2,9,12 and 16. I answered the same questions & promised the phone 3-5 days. When I didn't receive the phone after each of these 4 calls, I asked them how the phone was sent & check the tracking. I was told they couldn't check until the 5th day it wasn't received but couldn't give me tracking info. I asked to be connected to an Exec.VP to no avail. I depend on my phone which holds all my contacts.Their customer service reps are incompetent. I have been getting the run around since 6/24.I have been a long time customer with ********************** & never encountered a problem.I ask them to send the phone *** or ***** so I don't have to wait 3-5 days but no answer.I need HELP

      Before now I would have checked four stars for Tracfone. I've struggled at times but have been a loyal customer for over 25 years, and so has my mom! We've even recommended them to others. In the past year and a half she has lost her husband after years of being his sole caregiver and had to put down her aged pet. She's 89 years old, doesn't use her computer any more, doesn't have a current email tied to her tracfone account and now because we failed to renew her connection-membership in December when she was ill in the hospital for weeks, and didn't remember to after she was home and further recovering in January, they can't verify her or her lengthy membership by anything other than a message to her old email address that's been closed for several years or a pin number that's long forgotten!!! I guess it's time to change her over to Cricket or something along that line. Loyalty to Tracfone/Verizon means NOTHING apparently!

      I have been using TracFone for years but very seldom use the phone. Almost never use data or texts. I had accumulated a huge amount of carry-over data and texts when suddenly my texts and data all disappeared. When I contacted their customer "service" they just kept repeating " it's all used up, do you want to purchase some more? I can sell you some more right now". I have read other complaints from TracFone users issue online for this same issue. Those people believe TracFone themselves are responsible and wiped out their balances. I tend to agree.

      My mother had tracfone pre paid service. She has had her same number for years. Paid her phone bill on time all the time. Out of nowhere on Friday July 10th her phone service stopped working completely. Saying that her phone had no service. We spent 13 hours of time with their agents. Doing everything they told us to do. Which cost over 150 dollars and still couldn't get the phone to work. They changed the security question for her through the agent online. When my brother called for my mother and gave the answer they said it did not match. This was literally a back and forth thing that produced nothing but frustration. I asked how can a phone that consistently was refilled on time every time could be cut off they said they could not answer that question because their is a mismatch on the account. I will never ever allow my mother to buy anything from tracfone ever again. They are a shady buisness. I asked for corporates number or address to file a complaint and the one agent told me I needed to call and file a complaint through an agent. Then the agent told me I could only file a complaint through a letter. Needless to say I have had it with tracfone. They are a terrible company.

      I can't even provide one star for TracFone. My father-in-law, who is 84, had problems with his phone. TracFone told him to return the phone and they would send a replacement. 2 months later they have not sent the phone. We asked for the original phone back since they now have access to his personal data. They cannot find the original phone OR the replacement phone. We decided to go with another carrier due to the horrible customer service. When we contacted ********************** and asked them to provide a PIN so we could port my father-in-law's phone number over, they were not able to do that. They said they needed to send a text to the original phone (the one they destroyed). After more than 5 hours on the phone with 18 different representatives and different stories with each representative, we have realized we have lost his personal data and his phone number to TracFone. So extremely disappointed with their level of service and the runaround we received. They took this senior citizens money and did not provide service.

      The customer service for this company is horrible. I called and asked for help with my account. The man who answered kept telling me he couldnt give me the phone number. I wasnt asking for a phone number I had provided that. I asked to be transferred to someone else. He refused saying he would help me but never did assist me or let me speak to anyone else. I will be switching to an actual phone company with actual customer service.
