I tried to transfer bitcoin from my bitcoin account to venmo account on October 24, 2024. The amount is $1481.43.I copied my venmo request to receive and pasted in bitcoin sender. I waited hours and when I check the transaction it redirects me to blockchain.com and says pending. Upon further research I learned blockchain.com is a scam and they lock funds.

*Blockchain.com Bias Based ************************** Policies*In Jul 2024 I opened an account with ********************** with clear understanding that I will have a secured wallet and will be able to buy & sell crypto currency. When I tried to purchase coins the Blockchain.com site prompted me to go through a mandatory online identification verification to use the options. An online verification process was completed which included uploading my ID and picture. A message was sent that it would take some time to complete the process and then I could start using the services. When I didnt receive any feedback I contacted Blockchain support to know the status. The response was its under process and soon I will be advised.Multiple emails were sent including on dated 26 Aug ticket # *******, 29 Aug, 30 Aug, 2 Sep, 3 Sep, 5 Sep ticket # ******* but the reply is always that Blockchain is unable to complete the identity verification. Its concluded that Blockchain is using bias based profiling and discrimination practices to deny me the full access of my account. The use of such prejudicial practices is against the norm of all business ethics. After being associated for more than 20 years with a Fortune 500 company and doing banking with **************** & other *********************** institutions, I find this conduct of Blockchain totally unethical & illegitimate.I strongly demand strict action against this organization using such unscrupulous & illegal practices, biased base profiling to discriminate against clients.

On Nov. 10, 2022, I bought ******** of BTC for $5,000.00. When I went to cash out on July 6, 2024, for $57,837.27, Blockchain said that no purchase had happened, in spite of me seeing that purchase in my wallet, and in spite of NO NOTICE of any transaction failure. My wallet ID is ************************************. If Blockchain is allowed to pretend that no transaction took place, then clearly they can steal anyone's Bitcoin, in any amount, using this same pretense.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 10/15/2024

I offer Blockchain the following compromise, which you should convey to that company.

For the 0.278679 of BTC that I bought on Nov. 10, 2022, and placed in my wallet ID is a4af3f25-d38c-407b-852a-3668ba15f4b5, I will allow the company to assume THE LOWEST MARKET VALUE for that fractional BTC between then and October 15, 2024, MINUS the $5,000 that I paid for it, which dollar total they should send by cheque to my address at 1321 Upland Dr. PMB 20533, Houston, TX 77043-4718.

Should Blockchain fail to respond by November 15, 2024, I will be compelled to report their theft to FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at https://www.ic3.gov/ – which I would prefer not to do.

I recently lost $5.5 million while using Blockchain. The wallet was intended to be used only temporarily to transfer funds. After I had confirmed the amount in my wallet I signed out and back in a few minutes later. When attempted there were problems with the server connecting and due to the block chains System failing the funds had disappeared. Blockchain took no responsibility and attempted to say that I was scammed by another person. The repetitive use of the excuse while being unable to accurately and intelligently, describe and use supportive arguments for the reasoning as to why they believe that I was scammed believe that it is just an excuse. I have made the determination as to the reason for the loss of assets, which has not been determined to be any individuals fault. It was a system failure one that was the BlockChains responsibility of ensuring doesnt happen. Unfortunately it did happen and because of that, ********** is responsible for the assets return of the funds have been attempting for multiple days now to come to a conclusion while using substantial enough evidence that requires a response and have received no response from any management no response that resulted in any results or potential results come to a conclusion for the gathering evidence There has been no assistance that any business is required and ethically should be able to give to any customer who has lost any amount of funds let alone 5.5 million. This is the first time in my life that Ive ever seen or heard of anybody who lost 5.5 million and the company is completely unable and unwilling to assist and working and determining , where the funds went and how to go about the situation let alone fight any kind of legal assistance for a person who lost 5.5 million to a scam or to a hacker and Blockchain can assist with the return of assets. I have previous examples of work that I have done for other networks not only the Blockchain and I showed proof of saving them billions.

Deposited funds in good faith into this exchange, now they wont let me withdraw. I attempted withdrawing about 7 times, each time they take back the funds and will not release them. **************** urges me to try again, I do, and same story. They are not honest with their practices. It's $5000 we are talking about. Each time the customer service has a different answer. In the meantime they are holding my funds (stealing my funds).
