On 8/6 I attempted to buy a small amount of bitcoin on their site. They claim my debit card was rejected a number of times yet I contacted my credit union and they told me their was no withdrawal request. I then tried to send a small amount of bitcoin ($36) and I had to go through a photo id, etc verification. This didn't complete until the following morning. I transfered a small amount of money ($30) from my bank account which they took but froze. Later in the day I received some bitcoin and then tried to transfer it. The transfer started but it never completed. It shows as pending to this day. I tried to transfer the remainder of my bitcoin to ******** and that transfer continues to be pending. Finally I got an email from them demanding a picture with an id and a bunch of other stuff. I had already given them a picture and id two days ago. I finally told them to cancel the transactions and close the account. They just keep demanding the other stuff.Initial Complaint

On July 12, 2025 at 2:59 AM, I initiated a transaction from my Blockchain.com wallet, sending cryptocurrency out. The transaction never completed. Instead, it was placed under manual review with no clear explanation, no alert, and no guidance from Blockchain.com ********** has now been 8 full days, and my funds remain locked. I have received no emails, no warnings, and no official notification that the transaction would be flagged or reviewed. During this time, Blockchain.com continued to allow incoming funds into my walletdespite my outgoing transaction being blockedwithout any transparency that there was a compliance issue or technical problem in effect.This creates a false sense of functionality. I was under the impression everything was operating normally, and only discovered the hold when checking the transaction manually. The platform did not warn me or communicate that I was under any kind of compliance or manual restriction.I have submitted support requests and verified my identity through their KYC process already. Despite repeated communication and submission of my identification, the platform has continued to withhold access to my balance totaling approximately $23,000 without providing any resolution, timeline, or evidence of due diligence.Most recently, I received a generic response from Blockchain.com support on July 10, 2025, stating the matter is "under internal compliance review," with no estimated timeframe, specific issue, or documentation provided. I am writing to formally file a complaint against Blockchain.com for ongoing unethical and negligent behavior relating to my account and funds held with them.More than two years ago, Blockchain.com withheld my funds without valid justification. Despite my repeated attempts to contact their support team via email, help tickets, and online forms, I was met with complete silence. Over this prolonged period, they consistently failed to provide any explanation, support, or resolution regarding my locked funds or the status of my account.Only after over two years of inaction, Blockchain.com initiated what appeared to be a resolution by stating they would return my funds. However, rather than resolving the issue, they chose to lock my account entirely and have since resumed ignoring all further communications. I'm extremely disappointed with Blockchain, which has been holding my Bitcoins for over two years and doesn't allow me to make any transactions. I've contacted support MANY times and never received a response. What they do to their customers is a STEAL, from what I see online. I just want to withdraw my money and cancel my account with them. Well I need to use bit coin for a transaction so I thought I would use blockchain so I deposited 1000 dollars into block and made one transaction for ******************************************************** my account was blocked and that I could not buy sell crypto and that the were going to close my account and that I would be able to withdraw my remaining funds out so I went to do it and they refused to let take my remaining funds out because they put a hold on my account tried to get a hold of customer service they told to me I needed to give them all my in formation on my banking so I gave them my banking information they already had they said that they would get back to me they never did on a reason this was going after that I started sending them emails asking what's going on me getting my funds and never got a response back on my emails which caused me a bunch of grief and other problems because they would not release my money back to me now it has been since dec 2024. And I feel how can these guys be in business and that no one is doing anything about them taking off people and not letting get there money and not answering there customers on their questions and not releasing there money back to them how is this legal what they are doing to people and getting away with it which somebody needs to do something to these crooks stealing people moneyCustomer Answer

As I guessed they were going to come up with something else in giving my refund back got to give bank statment pictures they can only wire e my funds if my bank use fed wire instead of putting it back into my account line they got it out not letting me they don't have no other way to get back to my account because they stop there other way to withdraw funds on there site only can wire transfer because I was cut off from using that withdraw . method I don't why is this becoming more of a nightmare

I hold bitcoin with Blockchain.com. Their app offers the option to convert it to USD which I did. After doing so I discovered the funds are locked given their process that requires further onboarding- which I was happy to do and as I explained them multiple times I am a US resident, with SSN and all required info. I reached out to support on May 14th, they ran me through hoops trying to revert the funds back to BTC- I opened new users, provided my SSN, my personal info and every piece of information they required. Since two weeks ago they have completely ghost me. Their support is ignoring my simple request to revert my funds back from USD to ***. They are not cooperative, and I explained I need to use these funds. Originally when I did the conversion- at no stage did Blockchain.com tell me that this will happen, I am spending hours on hours to get in touch with them, let alone loosing interest on the funds etc. They are making it difficult on purpose to receive answers. I also tried calling their so call support line and there is no one to answer. Their system is not working it keeps sending errors and I am unable to release the funds. I attached my entire conversations with their support team- you can see they are ignoring my requests and that I cooperated with every request.
