On November 15, 2024, my account with ********************** was suspended without any prior notice or clear explanation. I have been a verified user of the platform for several years, and I had trusted it to securely manage my cryptocurrency funds.1. Date of the transaction: Multiple transactions over the years, with no issues until November 15, ******. Amount paid to the business: Not applicable for this complaint, but my account holds approximately USD ***** distributed along the following cirptocurrency balances: - ********** ETH - ********** BTC - ********** XRP - *********** XLM - *********** NEAR - ************ DOGE - ********* SOL 3. What the business committed to provide: Blockchain.com committed to provide secure cryptocurrency storage and trading services while ensuring access to funds held within its platform.4. Nature of the dispute: My account was abruptly suspended, and despite multiple attempts to communicate with customer support, I have not received a clear explanation of the reasons for the suspension. I provided wallet addresses to transfer my funds as instructed, but there has been no resolution or update.5. Efforts by the business to resolve the problem: The responses from their support team have been vague, and no timeline has been given for the return of my funds. They have refused to provide the reason for the account suspension, and my efforts to escalate the issue to a supervisor or manager have been ignored.6. I have multiple wallets on Blockchain.com and unfortunately I lost access to the email addresses on file. I still have my login IDs and password, however Blockchain.com is requiring that I verify my login via email although I did not set a 2fa. I cannot access email to verify and I don't have any backup keys. Thus, their next step requires that I send in a selfie holding up my passport and a written letter with their instructions. I followed their recovery procedures, providing them with my everything to change my email on my wallet accounts. However, they have not responded since and this had happened on multiple occasions. My crypto account migrated from SoFi on December 20 of last year. I have been trying to gain access to my account and is being lead around with no resolution. Im being told that the migration wasnt complete. Now Im being told that Im not using the correct password for the migrated account and if I cant remember the password I cannot gain access to the account. There is no recourse. When I do log in I keep getting an error message which does not say that the password is incorrect, theres just no access to the account. Now Im being told that I have to send a screen recording of the log in process. They keep sending me around and around in circles with no resolution.Customer Answer

This is a crypto app on the app store called Blockchain. They have withheld my money for more than a year now. I've tried contacting them regarding my money being trapped, but they have ghosted me. It seems I'm not the only one. Numerous people have lost thousands of dollars to this company. Their fees are also outrageous. I have been buying cryptocurrency on blockchain for months now without any *********** February, I tried withdrawing about $1000 in bitcoin in ether, after close observation to see if the transaction will go through, I see it's been stuck under manual review.I have emailed support at blockchain hundreds of times, provided completed requested documentation in order to verify my account.Blockchain said they have decided to close my account, but will still refund the money that I have pending.Since February, after giving them a return bitcoin address to send to that they requested, I have yet to recieve my funds.The current value of my cryptocurrency is about $2000-$2300, which I am requesting back.I have attached the initial transaction, and the countless tickets I've opened with this company in order to resolve this issue, to no avail.I get the same similar answer, there's still investigating, and I'll be notified shortly, I've gotten the same response for months now.Thank you for your help.******Initial Complaint

I tried to transfer bitcoin from my bitcoin account to venmo account on October 24, 2024. The amount is $1481.43.I copied my venmo request to receive and pasted in bitcoin sender. *Blockchain.com Bias Based ************************** Policies*In Jul 2024 I opened an account with ********************** with clear understanding that I will have a secured wallet and will be able to buy & sell crypto currency.When I tried to purchase coins the Blockchain.com site prompted me to go through a mandatory online identification verification to use the options. An online verification process was completed which included uploading my ID and picture. A message was sent that it would take some time to complete the process and then I could start using the services.When I didnt receive any feedback I contacted Blockchain support to know the status. The response was its under process and soon I will be advised.Multiple emails were sent including on dated 26 Aug ticket # *******, 29 Aug, 30 Aug, 2 Sep, 3 Sep, 5 Sep ticket # ******* but the reply is always that Blockchain is unable to complete the identity verification.Its concluded that Blockchain is using bias based profiling and discrimination practices to deny me the full access of my account. The use of such prejudicial practices is against the norm of all business ethics. After being associated for more than 20 years with a Fortune 500 company and doing banking with **************** & other *********************** institutions, I find this conduct of Blockchain totally unethical & illegitimate.I strongly demand strict action against this organization using such unscrupulous & illegal practices, biased base profiling to discriminate against clients.Initial Complaint

On 19th July 2024 my blockchain account got restricted from withdrawing crypto, so I contacted support for assistance which they provided me with ticket number #*******. They further requested for id and selfie which I later provided that same day of request. They promise to come up with a resolution but over two months no resolution and no response from support despite my numerous messages about an update regarding my account that got restricted and still no response. They refuse to grant me full access to my account holding my crypto assets hostage. Im stuck because Im still unable to withdraw my crypto assets on the blockchain.com application.
This has been going on for three months without a resolution, please BBB help me talk to the company in other to provide a resolution thank you.

The company also refuse to respond to me, I dont know the reason for their actions. Thank you for making an attempt to help me out, I dont know what step to take further in getting my funds out of their app. but if they eventually come up with a response then I will let you know, thank you once more.
