1 starI recently had the unfortunate experience of renting a car from Easirent, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. This review serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering their services. To begin with, Easirent employs predatory and ***** practices, which became apparent right from the start. They boast about offering unlimited miles, but conveniently bury the fact in the fine print that this does not apply to in-state rentals. This lack of transparency is deceptive and misleading, leaving customers feeling cheated and tricked into paying extra for mileage. Moreover, their claim of being located at the airport is a complete farce. Instead of conveniently picking up your vehicle at the airport, you're left wandering aimlessly, wasting precious time until you finally give in and call them. That's when they casually inform you that their location is actually off-site, and you need to be shuttled there. This blatant misrepresentation of their services is a major inconvenience and a source of frustration. The staff members I encountered during my interaction with Easirent were without a doubt the epitome of incompetence, rudeness, and combative behavior. Their unprofessional conduct only added insult to injury, leaving me with a deeply negative impression of the company. I expected better customer service, but what I received was a hostile environment where my concerns were dismissed and my questions met with hostility.Overall, I strongly advise against using Easirent for your car rental needs. Their predatory practices, deceptive advertising, off-site location, and subpar customer service make for an incredibly frustrating and unsatisfying experience. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment by choosing a reputable car rental company that values transparency, convenience, and customer satisfaction.Review fromSheryl M

1 starI arrived in ******* at 9pm on a Friday and was told to call them the second i land and someone will come pick me up since they close at 10pm. Well i called them at 9:05 and just got a recording to stand out side at this location at the Airport and they will pick me up. Well me and my son at *************** waited and waited and no show. I call all the numbers i could find of them and could not get a hold of a single living person. By 10:30pm used Uber. Next day i call them and explained the situtaion and the lady was so darn mean and she just said we close at 10pm and i told her i was there at 9:05 and she just brushed me off rudely. And then she said they dont do pick *** outside of the airport. Im like you got to be kiding me as now i need to find a ride to their location to pick up my rental car. Thank you **** again. When i arrived the lady was again rude and just talked so fast and she had bad english that i didnt understand most of what she said and just didnt care to re explain anything. I pick up the car and do my vacation with my son. I arrive a day early for personal reasons and didnt know where to park the car and i asked and no one could talk in english so i couldnt make heads or tails for anything they said. *** did a walk around car and said its good and i signed the paper and after everything was done i left. Now i check my credit card statement and they billed me $28.26 for unknow reasons. I look at their site and got the email and emailed them and i get an error that Mail delivery failed. Tried twice and same thing. So now their email on their site does not work. I know when i call them tomorrow i will have to hope i get ahold of someone that knows english and that isnt rude to me. But this company is horrible and this unknown charge is BS. Do NOT use them EVERReview fromJohn S

1 starThis is a bait and switch. I have rented cars from multiple companies over the years and never had an experience like this. It was my worst car rental experience ever. Well before a planned trip, I rented a car from Easirent on Priceline for $176 for a week, which I thought was a great deal. When I arrived in *******, I waited 30 minutes for their shuttle, was driven several miles off the airport and found a line to get service that took over an hour. I tried to check-in while waiting and found that while their site would accept an upload of my drivers license and credit card, it would not allow me to upload any insurance information. This was a little disconcerting. When I finally spoke with an agent I was told it would be an extra $400 for their mandatory insurance and protection from additional costs using the local toll systems. She said I needed a special form from the insurance company and she would not even look at my insurance documents that I had pulled ** online. Obviously finding another rental car company would have been an incredibly difficult and prolonged process being at the off-site location. I paid the extra money but will never consider this company again. I would highly recommend that others do the same.Review fromHenry H

1 starThis was absolutely the worst rental car experience I've ever had. The car had 3 severely damaged wheels which were not visible from the outside. When I got up to interstate speed it felt like the tires badly needed balancing. Their only help was to bring the car back, which didnt fit with my schedule. So I stopped at a tire shop prepared to pay for the balancing myself, and then discovered the damage. Of course the tire shop couldn't balance them so i had to live with it. There was a whole string of other things like poor customer service which I won't take time to describe. Go ahead and pay more for a reputable company.Review fromConnie N

1 starIf I could give a negative # for this review I would. Waited over an hour at the airport for them to take me to the car pickup location. Waited 2 hours there for the car. The car had 2 cracks in the windshield and the seats were stained and gross. 45 minutes into my 3 hour drive the low tire light came on. I had to stop 3 times in the torrential rain to fill the tire which was at 23 PSI. Called Easirent for help and they refused to bring me another car or send help. They said I could tow it back to them at my expense. Ended up going to a tire store and paying for a repair. Returning the car was supposed to take 1 minute, or so they said. Another 30 minutes to do this. This company was awful and they should be ashamed how they treat their customers. I rented in May 2023 and the ******* Airport locationReview fromLinda W

1 starThis company is horrible!!!! What a joke!!!! I booked a car from this company thru booking.com. Each company is blaming the other. I booked our rental car in January of this year for the end of April. Anyway, our flight from ********* to *****/ ************** was delayed for 4 hours. I tried calling them several times from ********* but no one ever answered the phone. I knew they were to close at 10pm which would not have been an issue if the flight had been on time. I want my money refunded to me fully. I cannot help our flight was delayed. This has been a terrible experience. I guess this is why the shuttle and taxi drivers called them SLEEZY RENT...LOL.. The name fits them!!! These people are scam artists. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! I had to rate this company to leave my review, I put one star. I would rate them 0.Review fromJason W

1 starEasirent placed a $500 hold on my credit card as a security deposit. Twenty-one days after I returned the car, they still have not released the hold. When you call the (888) number, you're placed into a queue. "You're caller number three waiting in the queue. You're caller number two waiting in the queue." When it's finally your turn to speak to a representative, the phone rings but no one answers and eventually the call disconnects...Review fromRosalyn J

1 starI believe that this is a ********** business. I am a 67year old woman who was traveling alone to Florida. I made my travel plans, via Expedia, with hotel, airline and car included. Upon arrival at the airport at 10:15 am, I attempted to contact Easirent, as per their instructions, and got an automated system that says when you arrive at the rental car area to press 1 and speak to someone to arrange for shuttle pick-up. I pressed the number and the line rang incessantly but nobody ever picked up. I called several times with the same result, no answer. By this time I was very frustrated and confused as to how I was going to get to the hotel and also get around for the 6 days of my trip. I was finally able to get a ride to my hotel and even continued to attempt to get in touch with someone at Easirent, to no avail. Since I was unable to reach anyone at Easirent I paid the driver for my hotel shuttle to take me to another rental company and I rented a different car. To add insult to injury after numerous attempts to contact Easirent I decided to call Expedia. The agent I spoke to also attempted to call Easirent to no avail. So he sent an email and then on the next day I received emails from several different people at Expedia. First they said they were working on getting my $267 refunded and lastly stating that they were not able to obtain a refund, even though I had been unable to pickup the car due to lack of human customer service availability.Review fromMarissa B

1 star1: Had to stand in line for over an hour. 2: they fail to tell you that it's only a 250 hold on your card IF your purchasing insurance thru them. 3: if your flight is late you basically lose your reservation. They will upsell you something super expensive. Even if I got there on time and stood in line for an hour I was considerd late. 4: if u have ** ezpass bring it.dont let them rip you off with the surpass.
