      Terrible service booked on phone used apple card on apple pay got to the counter and because it was virtual card, (which i had on my phone and had physical card with me) they wouldnt let me rent and made me cancel my reservation and make another at the counter which was double the original, The service and the hertz gold counter and inside the **********, PA airport were very unhelpful to say the least

      Stole my money, couldnt find their car which was towed by them and continued to charge till months after. Should have gotten a full refund but they still refused, every time I called I literally had to walk the agent through the whole issue because theyre unable to look at previous notes. I guess its not part of their training. They are very good at apologizing every time only to be back to square one. I also must add that the location I rented from actually tried to help, its the corporate office agents that were not trained well

      I went into my browser and requested a car rental but Expedia poped-up and said I have a reservation for Hertz and billed me $61.77 finders fee. When I went to Hertz they said that they are not associated with Expedia and I would have to except a new contarct with them for $472.95 for a seven seat 1.5T SUV because it was all they had available as opposed to the price Expedia quoted of $244.90 to be paid at pick-up. When I returned the vehicle they refused to do a walk.around check as it was just the three woman on the counter and they did not want to give me a copy of the finale bill as it was not ready and would email it to me but have failed to do so even after three phone requests from me. They have since billed my credit card $520.85 without having provided a statement of account and it would seem evident that they do use Expedia to have a vehicle available for rent. I expect they could have charged me whatever they wanted as they had my credit card informationn. I suggest that people block Hertz and Expedia from thier browser.

      They secretly charge your card til your negative in your account then act like they don't know why you were charged double, they refuse to answer the phone, I once called 26 times, and all the manager said was ,we were busy, and couldn't answer all the calls, but when u go in there's nothing but employees standing around, over all bad experience, they need to be shut down, or fixed.

      If I could give 0 I would. I still have a car sitting in front of my house for over two weeks. The day I was returning my fathers rental he had died the previous week, Hertz called me and explained how they were going to turn the car off and they actually already was and I did not need to worry about it because they would be coming to get it so I informed them you know my father had died but I was returning it then and they said no no need I said OK well, Im not paying another dime in this vehicle needs to be moved The vehicle is still not been moved and Im sure Im being charged a ridiculous amount. They dont want you rent a car for a week, they want you to keep it and then get charged paying for their mistake.

      I called hertz after attempting to modify my reservation for a 4-Door sedan at ************** on 10/1/24 - 10/2/24 to extend my reservation from 2 days to three days. To add one more day onto the reservation the ** in the reservations department informed me it would be an extra $700 for the day. Even though my reservation for two days was $309.Asking why the price per day went up over 300%, I was told it was taxes and the extra insurance ($39.99). The **************** staff did not explain the true difference to add one extra day. I asked for to speak with a manager and was told no. At this point it financially made sense to cancel the reservation and rent from another source. The Attendant then wanted to charge me a $96 cancelation fee which seems outrageous considering I couldn't even speak to a manager. I will not be renting through Hertz again and will be protesting any additional service fee's.

      I made reservations 3 days ago . We land in ********* and they tell me we can't honor that contract. I must make a new contract cost 400 dollars my fist contract was only 234 Really I went to Budget by Hertz

      I wholeheartedly give 0 stars to this entity and it's staff due to the level of indolence, inhumane, and unprofessional service inflicted upon me. This location and their ominous, reptilian tactics of providing customer service ignited a level of antipathy that I have not
      felt in quite some time towards anyone or anything! Along with the condescending disregard for the situation that their lack of concern left me in to have to scramble and find resolution to. Makes no logical
      sense to have this type of indolent and uncompassionate type of employee in representation of your entity whatsoever! The employee in specific name is Dominique. I do not know her surname nor do I find acquisition of it to be of any importance. I'm in pursuit of raising the awareness that damage control of this particular situation is not up to par. In all aspects of business matters. (I could easily destroy the entire staff discrimination and provide confirmation.) Yet for having the audacity to disrespect me and disregard for my well being. Which it's root cause stems from their p*** poor customer service skills. Must be trounced as soon as possible. You do not blatantly disregard a reservation with such repulsive behavior. Especially when you have knowledge of the information omitted has a high probability of being a traumatic outcome. Now my situation is far worse than initially with the soiling of my business endeavors. This was a solution for the hardship that I am experiencing. And I have zero tolerance for this type of indolent fuckery continue to smite consumers and get away with doing so. I should have been advised of the dilemma. Simply because of the reservation not being honored and displaying of favoritism right before my eyes. I was not in need of the services provided for leisure purposes. It was for a gainful source of income to support myself. I could have been easily advised beforehand that their inventory had been depleted and could not supply. Instead of abuse. ***** **

      On September 28, 2024. I went to pick up a rental car that was scheduled for me by Sutton Ford. I was told by one of the reps at Hertz $50. I asked for what since it was covered by the manager Miss Alicia Ford came out when I told the representative that I would pay the $50 here is my credit card Ford, I’m not Where? gonna accept call ford Asked me to creed and she’ll tell you. at that time, I said you guys are being an ***, didn’t she come to tell me I’m not accepting nothing from you and you can’t rent a car here and I’m the manager. How disrespectful and rude of her, to deny me my rental I think she’s unprofessional and very rude and toxic person for this company. I will make a complaint with also Hurt corporation and also **** *** ************** **** ******* *** ******* * *** ****** ***** *****.

      After reading older reviews I guess this is a theme with Hertz. My ********* (w. Sahara location) rental car was canceled the day before my trip (a long distance trip at that) and hertz not only tried to charge me $600 more to rebook the exact same vehicle at another property in the ********* area but hung up on me several times. The error was the fault of Hertz, why should I have to pay when your the one who canceled my reservation. To make matters worse, I called the corporate number for assistance and the lady rebooked me at the wrong return location, and AGAIN they tried to charge me to make the return location change when it was not my error. I couldnt even confirm the error because I didnt receive a confirmation email. I had to call the initial branch, who refused to give me the updated branch number to get assistance. That lady hung up on me as well. After waiting on hold for 2 hours I was told that the branch manager at the new location could override the return and honor the price, but once I arrive she refused. Hertz has horrible customer service. They deserve zero stars honestly.
