      Business Assistant Manager handled me in a unprofessional manner and refused to service me only because I should that I was dissatisfied with the way I was being treated. He took an attitude and pushed my identification to me and said he would not service me, and then told me to step aside after I told him I was contacting Corporate, he stated he didn't care who I contacted he was not serving me. Even after contacting customer service and was requested to assist he reused and when asked for his name and location and manger he refused to supply. I have been with Hertaz since 1987 and have never had or been treated with such disrespect and I will be filing and repost to the Attorney General in the state of Illinois.

      Because her is so bad I cant get to the page where I need to be to file the true complaint, but I will just put it for you guys for now because you are affiliated with hertz and theres no way to get a hold of anybody somebody who actually would care would get back to me, but Because its just hurts in general they charge me $60 for a toll that they have no proof of and I paid all my tolls. They also charged me $45 for 45 minutes extra when I said I was totally fine not getting the car right then I was just trying to be polite to the lady working because at five just a horrible company altogether, but it makes it so hard to say anything. I am guessing that this is a fake site too, so I dont even know why Im wasting my time here but definitely wont be using her again unless its a huge city because then they just seem to neglect everything which Im honestly makes the company better , s**** you guys you charged me 45 minutes for $45 and then you charged me $60 for apparently an $18 toll fee and Ive paid everything you didnt provide me with a ticket. You didnt provide me with the toll you just provided to me that I owed $18 and then you said that you were gonna charge me 40 just for having it so You guys are crazy and Im just a tiny poor person. It would change my life and you guys are a huge company and you know that youre doing people wrong and thats why theres no way to get a hold of a human being here and there behind this because somebodys just making money off of the board people , not giving me a reason why or why I hate you guys I tried to be polite by coming in before you closed and then I got charged for every minute. I was there a dollar a minute so you guys ****.

      The small print states there is a $100 charge for canceling after so many days, and yet cancelling six weeks before my scheduled rental is not good enough for a full refund? I will never rent with Hertz again and I will insist that my friends, family, neighbors, work peers, community, etc., steer clear of Hertz! It is wrong to charge for such things and it will be the most expensive $100 they ever made! Hertz...never again! Gold Schmold!

      Horrible experience with Hertz in Buckhead, GA! They up charged me because they didn’t have any other vehicles and before I got home the tire light came on! 18 psi!!!!!

      This particular Hertz location was solely for Uber drivers,Uber requires their cars to be Uber ready for drivers to take Uber rides, I was given a car that was dirty they never cleaned it even though they state that they charge drivers $400 or so for a dirty car when returned,but Hertz doesn’t clean the cars instead they rent it out dirty and the driver has to clean it, so Hertz charges for a dirty car return but they make the next driver clean it, I personally got a car from them that the ac didn’t work in it and Uber requires ac in the vehicles. When I told them about it they told me to bring it back and they would give me another car, but when I went back there they were closed when they should of been open, I made several attempts to return the car each time they were closed during business hours, I couldn’t use the car to give rides for Uber, but they still charged me for the car, I don’t know how they expected me to pay them when the car was useless to me, they didn’t have a lock box there either so I could of left the car there and put keys in box,
      I truely believe that Hertz is scamming people here the way they do business is very suspicious and the service is terrible. They should be thoroughly investigated

      I will crawl before a rent a car from Hertz ever again!!!! Paid in full two months ago for my rental and when I arrived at the airport at 12:00a.m. I was told that there were no cars available. How does this happen? There were also 4 other customers at the same time with the same problem. I was handed a piece of paper and told to put down my phone number and name and that they would call me when a car became available the next day. They offered no apology and no help. When I explained that my hotel reservation for that night was over an hour away and I asked how did they recommend I get there, I was told to get an Uber there and back. I also asked if they could contact another rental car company for a car...was told no-one had any available. Thankfully, my husband walked down to the Enterprise counter and was able to rent a vehicle from them....the other customers in the office did the same. Enterprise worked with us and was so understanding!!! I waited on hold for over 35 minutes the next day with Hertz customer service in an attempt to get my refund for my prepaid car, to be told by the guy that he was going to wave the cancellation fee! No joke....Why would he even think I would be charged a cancellation fee for a car that was never given to me. Read the other reviews listed here....unfortunately this is happening often with Hertz. Still waiting on my refund!

      Hertz should not partner with Expedia. I booked my car over a month ago, and payed over half of the price in advance. Hertz called me today and told me they have no cars. I am supposed to pick up tomorrow. I was told by Expedia I could rent a car for $1000.00. My rental was only $160.64. I am trying to find another car for tomorrow. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN. i SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THEIR SYSTEM TO RESERVE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Hertz is the worst. I rented a car and retuned it a day before. when i return the car they said they will send the receipt via email. However they charged me for the days that i didn't use. I called numerous time and send an email with no answer and sometimes they will give say it will take 7-10 business days to investigate. In some instances, they will tell you they couldn't reach the local office. It happened to me twice and i don't recommend any one to use Hertz.

      We rented an intermediate car to take to Brandywine and Philadelphia for a history adventure with our 11 year old granddaughter at the end of Sept. through Oct. 3. They didn't have a regular car available but said we could rent an electric car for the same price. The Kia did not have a cable to hook up at the port at our hotel in PA though another guest had one that Enterprise had provided for their car. The agent at the airport spent no time discussing how to charge, where to find a charging station that wasn't Tesla (which we found out on our own time and driving isn't compatible, didn't show us that the brake needed to be engaged to use the transmission dial (wasted additional time figuring that out). All told we spent about two hours of our valuable vacation time learning about this care -- most of that time was on the phone with roadside assistance. One of those operators had such a heavy accent that I couldn't understand him even when I asked him to spell. Getting through to anyone at Hertz is a total maze of number punching and being pushed from one person to another. When we turned in the car, we told the attendant our woes of a customer who had never driven an electric car. She replied with understanding and said that even she didn't know anything other than to move the car from one spot in the garage to another. She encouraged us to file our complaint with corporate which we did. Despite all the hassle and the high anxiety of driving a car in a strange city without a safety net of knowing where to charge the vehicle plus the time consumed to try and compensate for the lack of communication by the agent who rented us the car, we were offered no refund only a meager $100 credit towards a future rental. Why would we ever want to rent another car from Hertz after this experience and their total lack of customer service from beginning to the end. Hertz proved to a bureaucratic maze and unresponsive to our legitimate complaints.

      You cannot trust their vehicles or their workers. Our flight was delayed, we were told, in advance, that if that happens, to notify them. We did. They said they would hold our our car.
      We get to Barcelona, exhausted, after a more than 24 hour delay, with two kids, and they did not hold our car. We spoke them twice. They told us off as if it was somehow our fault. They found us a crappy car and charged us more for it. It took forever, and they chastised us to make matters worse.
      Then, just a few days in, the battery died! We had to lose an entire day's activities, because of that. The service person told us the battery was low. WTH? We will never use Hertz again.
