      I recieved a credit card charge for $104.95 for a EZPass Toll for 7 day rental in December 2022.I was never informed of EZPass ******** (what is it? ...) when checking the car out.I contacted the ******** EZPass office and discovered NO TOLLS were recorded during my trip.Whats with this $104.95 HERTTZ TOOL charge? There were no tolls encountered!$104.95 rippoff!

      Refused to accept my Credit Card. They will not accept *********** Guess my money isnt good enough. I will never rent through Hertz again.

      I recently had a rental December *****rd with one the entity's Dollar rental. The date of the 23rd at 625pm I called to state that it was impossible for me to return rental for weather conditions in my city, there was an artic ice blast here in ************* of *************. The representative stated I would not be charged and to make sure I returned vehicle 24th at 7pm. When I returned vehicle no one was there to check car in at the. On the 26th of December I seen I was still charged for both days regardless of my efforts. I called that day and spoke with another representative that stated he looked into it and that he would be able to honor original contract price of $180 something vs the $688 they outrageously charged. My refund would be applied 3-7 business days. On 1/8 I called to inquire of where any of my refund was. A supervisor called me back, and insisted I was to still be charged the weather day and they could only return the not checked in day. I told the supervisor and I'm telling you at corporate, this is unacceptable for you guy to be more concerned with money than a customer's life and the property of the company. I am a registered nurse, and I will not jeopardize my life or company property to bring a stupid car back. I told the supervisor so is this what this company represents money over human life!? I also said to her 'so your telling me your representatives lied to me?' She stated yes, I followed by so this issue how you guy train employees, treat customers, and the values of this company!? I have been a customer with all the ********************** companies at ********** international for years, the service I constantly receive is horrible and ridiculous. This company had some major priorities it needs to align to be of better service to anybody. From customer service , supervisors, counter clerks, and over all customer respect. I am very deeply disappointed in how I was treated and the true values of this company to put money over human life.

      Will never rent from Hertz again. Went with them because they offered the best deal for a holiday trip in December 2022. We waited almost 3 hours for a rental in ****** on the Big Island because they overbooked rentals. There were other customers waiting a lot longer then I did. I'll gladly pay more money to rent a vehicle from another company. I travel a lot for work and vacations and I've never seen a company overbook rental vehicles. The only positive thing was that the staff was kind and sympathetic to the customers.

      Car smelled like smoke. I was charged $500 for using one toll. Never using hertz again. They should be ashamed.

      Worst rental company, week after I returned the car my credit card was charged ************************************************************************************************************************* the complaint that I am willing to do my lung X-rays to proved I never smoked in my life their send me new receipt stating it is miscellaneous charge, I am still fighting with them because I have no idea what it the charge for

      I had a reservation with Hertz ****** -********* location to rent a SUV 12/26/22 thru 01/04/23 but when arriving to pick up the vehicle I was informed that no vehicles were available and that this had been known already by 12/24/22 but no customer notifications had been issued. We were several customers left stranded. When I sought to cancel the reservation, the Hertz office told me they were not authorized to do so and referred me to the **************** phone service, where I waited on hold for 20 minutes without reaching anyone. When trying to cancel the reservation on the Hertz website, I was (repeatedly) asked " Do you really want to cancel the reservation" and when responding "Yes" the system every time froze and would not let me continue. This occurred at least ten times, using different devices. Finally, after another 30 minute wait, we were able to cancel by phone. This is failing customer service at each step of the way. Avoid renting from Hertz!

      The worst, if I can give them a zero I would. Returned the car in mint condition they charged me $400 cleaning fee, then they reversed it. A week later got charged $275, called Hertz, was told they would reverse it. They never reversed it so I put in a dispute with my bank. Finally it was reversed. Now Im being charged $125. Called them numerous times and every time I get a different answer. They reported me to a collection agency I disputed the charge called Hertz and was told that I have a zero balance. A month later the collection agency calls me that its still in collection. Called Hertz again, spoke to a supervisor and now I get a whole different story from what I was previously told. They are the worst car rental to deal with. Their customer service is the worst, never answer the phone and are completely ignorant.

      Booked a full size luxury car over a week in advance. Day of pick up am given a small suv. I could have booked that for $100 less. Explain I don't want an suv, get told too bad. Had to adjust my plans due to this. Held my deposited for 3 Weeks and only released it after I called 5 times because I feel I didn't get what I paid for. In the end was told too bad. That's the motto over there. ********** customer service isn't even this bad. Last resort only!
