      Worst car rental company.. I had a reservation for more than a month .. the day of the rental pick up they told me they dont have cars available!!.. they sent me to different location.. made me a new reservation & charge me extra $500 for was I was quoted on my reservation!! Basically theyre legally robbing people!! Worst experience ever!!

      this review for the Hertz Claims department. December 23rd an Amazon driver driving a white hertz van type vehicle ran into our main property gate. As she got out to hand me our package the van started to move. Before she could get back into the vehicle it ran into the gate bending it so bad it won't stay on the track and is laying in the front yard. I have tried working with Amazon but all they have said is I need to work with Hertz. So I called them and put a claim in. It has been weeks and finally I heard from a gentleman that works for ESIS abou the claim. He was only looking for more information on specifics on what happen. He of course being an insurance person made the comment about not being sure if it is their driver is the cause of the accident. I have a gate bent laying on the ground due to the van hitting it. the driver is responsible in some shape or form!!!!

      **Hertz is the worst they are trying to rip me off**Went to pick up my rental that I reserved and they didnt even have the car said they rented it already and thats the problem with people buying in advance. I was unable to get the car no problem but when I called customer service that day on 3/11/2023 they told me **** days for my refund. 11 days later no refund called them and they told me they have no record of me calling said I have to wait **** days for the new refund. They are trying to rip me off and keep my money. Dont ever rent through Hertz I found another rental place with better customer service and plenty of cars.

      Hertz is fraudulent, and they have the worse customer service ever. *******************, the manager at the ********* ************ location in *******, takes his anger out on customers personally, and gives cars that are unfit for driving, to customers he does not like. The branch is full of poorly trained employees, and they honestly need to shut the entire branch down.

      Worst customer Service and business EVER. Don’t ever rent from Hertz. I went to see my son graduate from basic. The hotel we stayed at valeted my car and in the middle of the night the lift ended up coming down on the car. The hotel and valet took full responsibility and asked that Hertz called them so the could get the information and pay for the damage. Hertz did care. They argued with me and their very unprofessional, condescending and argumentative Supervisor Kim B. and I use that term loosely proceeded to antagonize me while I filled out the incident form, trying to involve the other customer service rep. This went on for 5 minutes while I tried to fill out the form. I finally had it and told her she was a condescending B——. Then and only then she quit harassing me and said she was going to put me on the DO NOT Rent list. I told her I didn’t care because I would NEVER rent from Hertz again. She replied “GOOD!” Mocking me. I told her she’s leaving out all the unprofessional behavior she was doing. I’m trying to get the information to the valet service and Hertz has not responded to my emails. I have never rented from such an unprofessional, inferior and incompetent company before and I never will again. I will continue to find sites to make sure I review them so hopefully it saves others from this kind of headache. Thank God for social media. Too bad they don’t have a negative star rating. One star is WAY too good for them.

      I had a car rental booked for a Friday morning, I called and changed to Thursday evening, all good there. When I showed up they only could see my reservation for the next day. They could not accommodate me although they had cars that I could go online and rent. To change my reservation they wanted to double the price. Told me that I would have to contact billing for cost support but the number that they gave me for that did not work and called back to the same customer service I was already talking too. Very disappointed, I would not recommend hertz or will ever use them again.

      If I can give any advice to anyone looking to rent a car from this company, you are waiting your time and money to say the very least. I never leave bad reviews, but Ive never dealt with so much bad customer service in my life. What has been the most frustrating part is the amount of hidden fees and the blatant lies on their prices. Its an absolute joke! What a disservice they do to hard working people trying to travel or see their families. I hope they run out of business; thats how **** ridiculous all three times Ive rented with these guys.

      The car was available and fine. When I returned it, I left two items on the back seat ( a jacket and a beach towel). I called the next day and was told to call back. I called the next day and was told that they didnt find the items . I said you couldnt miss them. They were on the back seat. Stolen! I dont know if it is the cleaners or not, but I would like the jacket back since it was a gift from my son.

      I would like to acknowledge ******** at the ********** Car Rental in ** customer service for going above and beyond the call of duty to provide superb customer service. This is why I choose ********************** as a 5 Star customer because of people like ********. *******************************

      Arrived to pick up my pre-paid car, and initially denied the fuel purchase option. The representative at the counter told me if I purchase the fuel option and bring the car back on empty, it would be my best deal , The car only holds about $40 worth of gas and gas in Arizona at the near by gas stations were charging $6/gal. So I opted for the fuel purchase option, my printed out ticket, highlighted by the young lady, stated " Total Estimated Charges; $62.89". She said don't worry about that amount it will be less than that. Upon returning the car, my ticket charge was $70.50. I called Hertz twice and was told since I agreed to the fuel purchase option, I must pay. Do NOT rent anything from this company, they are swindling customers with LIES.
