      The Manager at 3801 Noland Road made the reversible error of suspending my rental privilege for Lyft because of an attempted car theft wher the door handle was damaged. I made a police report and completed an an incident form w Hertz. Today 17 States are urging Congress to mandate that Hyundai issue a recall because their vehicles can be stolen with a screw driver and a usb cord - no security key fob. Correct the reversible error, Hertz, that of an overzealous local Hertz/Lyft agent and reinstate my eligibility status to NOT in suspension. I’m losing money because of a trending TikTok challenge video on how to steal a Hyundai in 60 seconds.

      If i could give Hertz zero stars I would!I was delayed on my flights from *** to ******** **. I called twice to confirm with Hertz at the airport that the flight was late and scheduled to arrive at **** am.The representative assured me that it was noted and had my flight information and would meet with a representative at the airport. Upon my arrival ****am went to the courtesy counter which was closed. Inquired at another counter at another car rental company and was informed that Hertz dies this all the timeFortunately the other car rental company Enterprise was happy to help me out!I called Hertz the following morning to inquire as to what happened and was greeted with the worst customer service I have ever encountered!Rude and really couldn't care less about me being stranded at the airport.I explained that I called twice to confirm my flight delays and that it was noted in the notes of my rental confirmation.I asked to speak to a manager and I was told they are to busy and they would have to call me back. Of course I never received a return phone call or a reply.I will never use Hertz again. I am a member of a union that has close to a million members and i will make sure everyone knows about how Hertz cares for there customers!!!!The absolute worst!!!

      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience at the LAX airport location. As a gold Hertz member, I expected a seamless and hassle-free rental experience, but unfortunately, that was far from the reality. The car I rented was dirty, had no fuel, and there were limited options available. I was also overcharged for fuel despite being promised I wouldn't have to pay. I have tried to resolve this issue with customer service and even requested to escalate the matter to a district manager or corporate office, but to no avail. I am extremely disappointed with Hertz's lack of customer service and accountability, and I hope this complaint will hold someone accountable for the mistakes made. I hope to receive a satisfactory resolution soon.

      They charged 2 credit card at same time with same amount and refuse to take back one charge, customer service is below average.Its 4/19/2023 and card was charged on 3/19/2023. Customer service sucks.

      Rented a car at Hertz.com on 4/16/23 for the week of 4-20 thru 4-27 prepaid with a confirmation number. 3 days later and less than 24 hours from trip planned rep. from hertz location calls me and tells me they are all out of cars due to a corporate need. I thought it was a prank. On top of that he tells me that the onus is on me to call some phone number to cancel the prepaid charge. .....unacceptable customer service and disgraceful. I can't begin to tell you how this has negatively impacted me.

      Was told they had no cars available for insurance loaners 2 days after my reservation was confirmed. They finally found one but insisted on charging me for a full day, even tho they didn't have it till almost 5pm. They were unapologetic about it and made me feel like a second class citizen because I wasn't paying for it out of my own pocket. I will NEVER use them when I need to rent a car for myself.

      I was sideswiped by someone in a Hertz rental car and I have dash cam video in the State Police statement and I can't get hurts to even assign an adjuster to it they just keep blowing me off. Going to have to hire an attorney they are the worst company ever. Very unprofessional

      Hertz took my reservation for an agreed price and type of vehicle. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was told that there is a $100 upcharge due to the only types of vehicle available are "luxury" vehicles. I was stuck either an electric vehicle (which I didn't reserve - I specifically picked a gas vehicle for my reservation), without a car, or a pricier car that I did not reserve. From my experience with other car rental companies, when an overbook is made like this by the company, they honor the patron's reservation with a vehicle available without any upcharge or additional fee, even is it's "above" the reserved car type. Hertz would not reconsider after informing them of this information. Hertz is known to bait and switch. There were 2 other individuals who were told the same as I was and debating whether to wait indefinitely IF they were going to get a car by someone returning a rented vehicle within their car type reserved, choose an electric vehicle they were not comfortable driving, or pay an additional fee for a gas car "above" the car type they reserved. When I dropped of the vehicle I was up charged for, they gave 2 other patrons the same story, with one of them being charged an additional $400 over their original reservation for only having a larger size vehicle available. This is disgusting business practice by Hertz and apparently, it is a frequent practice by them. SHAMEFUL!

      Most difficult company to work with as no way to reach a live person by phone and I’m a hold card member. I’m trying to put my new Credit Card # into my account but am unable to access my account through the Hertz APP after trying 100+ times. Because I can’t access my online account through the Hertz App, I always have to check in at the counter instead of having my car waiting. I even tried updating my account it in person at a Hertz Counter when renting a car and they couldn’t help. I tried 2 Different Customer Service numbered provided in the Hertz App with over 24 phone calls and got the same message from all “Your call can not be completed as dialed”. I’m also posting this complaint online and wish I could send it to your CEO

      All the other reviews are right, I just wish we had read them sooner ! This place is absolutely awful. Stay away at all costs unless you want to see just how terrible renting a car can be. Shocked that they are still in business.
