      I rented a vehicle from Hertz for a family trip to Orlando with my children. While driving, we stopped at a rest area and ate in the car. Shortly afterward, we noticed roaches inside the vehicle. Initially, I thought they may have come in from outside. However, later that evening, we discovered more than 20 roaches crawling throughout the car, including near my children. This was a serious health and safety hazard. Had any of the roaches crawled on me while I was driving, it could have caused an accident. I had to drive in fear to the nearest airport and spend over an hour dealing with the issue, including missing dinner with my kids. I believe the car may have been infested from a previous rental or was not cleaned properly before being given to me. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional for a major rental company. I am seeking a full investigation, an apology, and appropriate compensation for the health risk, emotional distress, and inconvenience this caused my family.

      My car died on vacation halfway to destination-rented a car from Hertz and limped car over where it died for good in Hertz parking lot and were told they had no rentals despite us already reserving one--told that they had "just sent a bunch of cars to Enterprise" to help them out and offered no help. Essentially just watched us smolder in their 90 degree parking lot for hours trying to find help, no assistance offered or given. Numerous others in same situation. Shameful.

      I reserved two cars and when I got to the counter no cars were available. They charged me $420 for not providing my cars.

      I have been a Hertz corporate Gold customer for over 20 years with hundreds of rentals. Last month, they filed an accident report 3 DAYS after I returned a vehicle. I am 100% sure there was no damage when I returned the car. My insurance company says this happens all the time. I will not use Hertz again and will take a video of the vehicle when I return it.

      Fraudulently created an incident report claiming I said things I never did. Then going after me for $900 in damages claiming contractual violation.

      Hertz user for work with corporate account. They did me wrong when I made a personal rental for a vacation and used my Presidents club points. Hertz 100% is scamming people for gas. I returned my tank full as I do with all of my rental car returns (20 plus a year). You can’t speak with anyone and they do not provide clear answers on how to dispute the charges. I will never use Hertz ever again for the rest of my life…..

      They charged a $100 "outside car wash fee", which had never been mentioned upon scheduling. And the customer service never picked up the phone or reply the message I submitted. It's a scam!

      Hertz Portland Maine Airport. I called to change my pickup time and they said that was fine but it would take a little while for it to reflect online. When that never happened I called again and was told it can no longer change and there were no records of that happening. After pushing for an answer they gave me the same customer service number and hung up.

      Hertz charges $100 to cancel reservations. I understand cancellation fees, but my rental was $185. Ridiculous - NEVER AGAIN!

      First day of my trip and it is already ruined by my first stop at Hertz. Never again I will rent car at Hertz. Day one of my trip is destroyed, which will negatively effect the next week of my life.
