I have rented from hertz since April 2023 as a driver for UBER and they charge fair price but always gotten cars that was dirty stunk passenger seat wouldnt move. They dont service cars like they should. Had car over heat on way to pick up a customer and had to cancel so if they give UBER drivers cars like this hate to see what else they do. Only thing right was full tank of gas

Do NOT work at this business. I was hired on as what I thought would be full time to find out they hired me part time instead. Hired a week before first day to arrive that day and them not know who I was and had no paperwork ready for me nor training. 3 days in they wanted me to work without filling out any sort of i9 or w2 or direct deposit information. Completely shady and seemingly illegal. I left due to a family emergency and didn't return and I'm glad I didn't. You can't even get in touch with a proper manager even if you needed to as an employee. This location should be investigated deeply for the way they operate.

Main caller line screwed up my order. After 45 minutes and giving them the new card number they canceled 1 of 3 cars I had rented. Didnt receive a cancellation email or text. Got to the airport and was forced to make a new booking at 60% over original quotes price when I was told my reservation was canceled . Was given different best possible rates by desk agent. Car wasnt ready till 2 hours after reservation. Spent over $4,000 on rental cars and was treated with total lack of care. Wont be using Hertz after that experience.

Hertz Car Rental - Little Rock - Reservoir HLE Car rental agency A zero and an EXTREME frustrating experience and who seem to not give a **** (fill in any negative adjective/noun) about their customers. I set up a reservation for my college bound son and girlfriend. After arriving at the Hertz agency it was shared they are not open Sundays (although I was able to reserve for those dates online) and then told that they would have to rent for one more day - Monday. I call explain to Larry the Manager), that online at that moment that I can reserve for same updated dates at a total cost of $193 (not $260 that was being charged). He blows me off and then asks me if there is "anything else he can help with for which I reply, "yes make this right!" He then tells me "if you don't like it than don't rent from us" and then tells me "how about this... I'll just talk to the owner and we'll put their names on a don't rent list moving forward". Then hangs up on me. WHAT??? Let me summarize their customer retail strategy: 1. Misleading reservation (online booking) 2.Customer takes time and resources to get to location and then upcharge due to online mislead info 3. Threaten with don't rent list in the future 4. Hangs up on client If you re the agency owner reading this, I sincerely hope that this type of customer experience is NOT how you train and manage your clients. I never write posts but in this instance Its only right to do so for others who are reading this and to prep them prior to reserving online with this Hertz franchisee/agency. I have rented from Hertz (and a Hertz club member) for DECADES but will not do so moving forward, pending corporate's reply to this experience, and for which I will update in fairness to Hertz - because I believe that one god-awful experience should not erase many positive ones. This rental retail experience has been a complete failure - A ZERO on any feedback scale and embarrassing for Hertz. Buyer Beware - unfortunately.

No available car in Chicago Midway even with my reservation and no notice until arrival at the car rental. Hertz sold a bunch of their cars, so don’t have enough for customers. Change your motto to “Let’s Not Go”. Instead “Go” with Enterprise, Avis, or National.

Pennsylvania toll road tip-off. . Hertz uses a toll road "service" in Pennsylvania called Plate Pass. I paid 30$ on tolls & 29.97$ "convenience fee." Haha, real cute rip-off scheme. Read the fine print.

Last week my husband and I went to Orlando and had a reservation for a car with this company. There was nothing special about the car and while it was not detailed, it was clean enough. We returned the car 8 days later with no issues. Then we got a bill for an additional $200 and when we questioned it they claimed we returned the car with vomit inside and that the fee was for a clean up of such. The entire thing is BS as we did NOT have vomit in that car at any point and time. This was simply a scam on their part and because we can't prove it we are simply out the money. Advice to everyone renting from this company, take photos when they give it to you and when you return it. Insist they visually inspect the vehicle upon returning it and get the name of the person doing so.

If I could give them 0 stars I absolutely would. I spent two days driving in circles because of this company. I missed two days of my vacation, two days with my daughter, and ended up losing my disney tickets too. So all in all I'm out about $1,000 dollars after the wasted airbnb and theme park tickets. These people gave me such a run around. I was suppose to leave on the 19th from PA to drive to FL. Got my car and started my trip only to realize they gave me a car that the transmission was slipping in. Called and had an hour conversation that led me to another "Hert location ", only to find out that location didn't exist. Called again and the guy was so rude but sent me to another location. Now mind you, we spoke at 6:15pm. I get to the hertz he sent me to and it had been closed since 4pm. At this point I'm angry and panicked. Call again and find out that I have to drive from West Virginia 2 hours back to Pittsburgh Airport. They swear they have cars. They indeed did not. Only electric cars that have less then half a charge due to their own electrical issues. So I get this car and try to find a charging station. Go to charge it and realize 6 HOURS! 6 STINKING HOURS TO CHARGE!!!! No way. So now it's about 3:45 am and two mental breakdowns later, I had to turn around and go back home. I was devastated. I was supposed to be in Florida for my daughter's 21st birthday that we had planned all year. Thank goodness for my local hertz. They were more than accommodating, but by then I still had 16 hrs to drive. So yes, I got to see her. But the trip was absolutely ruined. I'm so frustrated. I would have rather taken a stinking bus. I didn't make it to Florida until the evening of the 21st.
