      The staff have you wait in line for hours 3 people behind the counter and only one working.. I watch all the other rental places customers come in and out with ease and very little hassle.. 30th street should train their employees on smoother faster and friendly service

      My wife and I are attending a business conference in KC, Missouri which is a significant investment of 3 days and $2,000 with travel and lodging costs. She is traveling to another conference in our personal vehicle and we had reserved a vehicle for me to return home several weeks in advance. With 3 hours before departure we receive a call from the local agent informing us they don’t have any inventory for me. I informed him he can’t just leave me hanging like that and needs to find an alternative. “Sorry” Was all he offered. Hertz was IMPOSSIBLE to reach. This is totally unacceptable! We were distracted for the most important seminars we anticipated attending trying to resolve this matter. We found a competitor rental and WILL NEVER USE HERTZ AGAIN!

      Rented car from Hertz for 9 days - Hertz people were helpful and professional - car was fine. Got bill for EZ Pass - which we used for TWO days - was $90 - bill shows $12.99 per day - billed me for the entire length of car rental even though charges for use of EZ Pass were only for two days! RIP off!!

      Hertz confirmation K476086****. President ****** Member. I made a reservation for large SUV one way rental from ************* to ******** for my daugher's dorm stuff. Pick up was at **************** in ** but the location was "Temporarily Closed" until 5/31. called customer service and kindly rebooked at union station but made wrong drop off location. I went to union station by uber to pick up the car. They did not have to car and I had to call customer service again. after an hour phone call, they had no car available. I ended up renting full size SUV which was the best car I coud find with ***** I took uber again to ***************** and AVIS agent gave me a Pacifica.

      The manager of Hertz Peabody is unprofessional and disrespectful. I have been a gold plus member for years and never treated with such arrogance, verbal disrespect by any manager of this company before him. I made an online reservation, showed up to rent the vehicle, and with no explanation was told Im not welcome to rent from this location . This manager proceeded to disregard my question, and display arrogant, immature behavior towards me. Hertz could benefit with better training on how to speak , work with customers. I needed this rental because I have a child with disabilities, that needed to be taken to an appointment, and its Mothers Day weekend, This man should be ashamed of himself to treat anyone like this. I do not recommend Hertz Peabody.

      I rented a car through Thrifty for May 11-May 19, 2023 for pick up at the Reno Airport on May 11. The car rental was paid for in advance with full coverage insurance and when I got there I was told that the car that I had rented they had NONE AT ALL, which was economy an/or compact and that I would have to take a full size and they tried to tell me I needed to buy their insurance coverage also and I told the disrespectful rude Customer service I did not want a full size, I wanted what I paid for and I was not paying for more needless insurance. Thrifty counter was not open at 10 a.m. and yet when I rented the car online it said it would be open from 6 am to 12 midnight and it never is. Some customers got the cars they paid for but alot of us in line were told we don't have your car. What a lousy Customer service and vehicle availability.

      Car rented at Lexington,ky, bluegrass airport. My car was stolen. I called the police and a police report was filed. I called the hertz 1-800 number to report the theft. Of course I couldn’t talk to a person and there was no option to report theft. I tried the hertz website and again there was no option to report theft. The car was recovered the next day with no damage and was returned on time. I informed the counter personnel at the airport about the theft. They said nothing about further action needed from me. At that point I thought everything was ok. About 3 months later I get a form from hertz requesting details about the theft. No return envelope was included by the way. The very next day I get a nasty letter saying I was permanently suspended from renting from hertz because I did not make a good faith effort to report the theft to hertz. I made every effort that I knew to make to make and hertz didn’t bother to inform me until it was “too late”. I don’t see how this was my fault. I called them and exchanged several emails and got nowhere. Even if reinstated I wouldn’t do business with them again. They’ve lost a good customer.
