1 starThey were two and a half months late delivering 3 pods from California to Maine- They wouldn’t deliver to my new home in Lovell Maine. While I was disputing them they started billing me an additional $2,000 STORAGE FEES. They told.me they would only go as far as Bridgton, Maine and not to Lovell, (which is only 45 minutes away) I told them, just charge me extra to drive it to my new home. They refused and told me to either pick up my 3 pods in Portland, Maine or deliver to * ****** ** ** where I had another home. I told them I was a 70 year single woman and how would you expect me to do that, especially after spending $18,000. I had to pay somebody $1,000 cash who worked at Pods in Portland, Maine to take it FINALLY to my home!! I disputed the additional $2,400 for the storage charges while argued that Pods told me initially they WOULD DELIVER IT TO LOVELL….I WON MY DISPUTE AFTER MUCH DISTRESS!! I have been diagnostic with PTSD after losing my son Chris in 9/11. He was in the North Tower, Cantor Fitzgerald on the 103 rd floor. Lynn L. *** **** **** **PODS Moving & Storage

1 starDreadful experience! Stay away from this company!!!I was repeatedly lied to by sales/customer service reps. **** story below.First of all, I was completely unable to even get a simple quote from the website. I was forced to call the office and spend an hour on the phone setting things up. I should have known right then and there that this is not a serious company.I was told there would be no problem dropping off and picking up the container on the same day. The container couldn't be left overnight at its origin, because the storage facility did not allow it. So I made the appointment to drop off and pick up the container on the same day.On the day of the drop off/pick up, I got a call from the driver. He informed me that there was no way the container could be picked up the same day. Thankfully, he was amazingly helpful, and juggled things around with his boss to push the delivery out a couple of days, and pick it up the same day. It's lucky I was still in town, otherwise I would have had to spend additional time and resources. The initial delivery date they gave me over the phone was 1/31. Then they changed it to 2/1. Then to 2/3, and then again to 2/7. AND THEN AGAIN TO 2/9. On the day of the delivery, they gave the driver the wrong address, so he had to scramble to make it to me on time, since I had movers on the clock.Absolutely ridiculous service. The drivers were both excellent, that's the only good part of this whole experience, which has left me disgusted.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI am still waiting for a Resolution Specialist to call me, I was told on 2/3/2023 that I would receive a call within 24-48 hours. I guess the way they run a business is if they ignore all the phone calls and emails, the problem will go away. My attorney sees it differently. PODS made a huge mistake on 2/3/2023 at the Little Rock, AR facility. I had 2 PODS, my movers called me and said there was only 1 pod. The facility ordered the other pod to be brought to the movers. The movers unpacked both pods, packed them in to their truck a drove to my house. The huge mistake is that someone else's household goods were in the truck mixed up with my household goods. PODS had the wrong pod delivered, he admitted to me over the phone on 2/4/2023 that he never doubled checked the pod number. He said the numbers were close. The 2 movers and 7 of my family members had to unload and reload the other family's goods back in to the truck in the dark, it was hard to tell what was what, I am missing a several items of my household goods which may have gotten mixed up with the other family's goods. I had boxes of the other family's goods which I sent back with the pod driver that delivered the other pod. But guess what, they charged me for their mistake, almost $1,000. I've made several phone calls, was told by a pods rep. that a Resolution Specialist will call and I will be getting compensation. They are totally ignoring all my efforts to resolve this issue. There is not only one family involved, there are 2 families. Hopefully pods didn't lose the other families belongings.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI have contacted PODS twice so far over the almost a 2 month span. I over paid storage fee in December as my pod was at the facility for only three days. The delivery fee populated which seem odd as I had paid a large amount of money. Only to find out that the delivery fee populated after the pod had been dropped off and picked up. Conversed with an agent who understood what the issue. I inquired the difference of the bill which was a $10 variance. I offered to pay the difference between the two therefore everyone would break even. No refund would be do to me and no additional funds are due to the company. The collection agent stated, it doesn't work that way. A refund has to be processed. A claim/reference number was created by collections department and will be processed within 7-10 business days as well as a call. I followed up on this 02/3/2022, the agent Stacy advised that she will follow up and this time they will call me for sure. This has been over an additional 7-10 days no call or refund as of today. There were continuous call when money was owed now that my money is due one one will call me back. I will never utilize this service again.PODS Moving & Storage

I conversed with a representative from Pods and the exchange was not pleasant! I requested her to never call me again. She didnt research anything regarding my claim. She had no idea about the 2 incident reports created. Instead she discussed the process of billing. I disconnected the call after she interrupted me as wel as told me that I was combative and defensive. However she continued to interrupt me while I tried to explain. **************** is horrible!Review fromTC A

1 starThis is the most criminally incompetent and unprofessional company with which I've ever dealt. Deceptive pricing and business practices and employees who are trained to prevent you from speaking with supervisors. We were overcharged and double-charged for storage and multiple employees - on recorded calls - stated that I was incorrectly charged and that the PODS pricing and invoicing is "misleading" and "deceiving" these were their exact words, on recording.I'm missing over $300 and have been forced to chase it around for nearly a month with zero resolution in sight. I was finally able to get in touch with a supervisor in a different department today who said she will ***** it down. Her name is ******************* and she seems to have her head on straight and I appreciate her assistance. But the rest of this company is a joke verging on a criminal operation.I would suggest using other shipping and storage solutions because this company will steal your money and then go to the ends of the earth to avoid rectification. I have submitted a dispute with a my credit card company and have contacted my attorney as it's getting to the point where I may have to file litigation just to resolve this. They lie repeatedly and I have had to record the calls on my end, with a witness, because I have no doubt this slimy company is not above destroying the recorded phone call evidence upon receiving a subpoena. Steer clear.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI completed a quote with PODS and was satisfied with the ease of doing so, but I needed to change the date of delivery. I want to forewarn anyone reading this, because it is SO important. Clearwater businesses and much of Florida are basically 'questionable'. When I called to make the date change, a "****" requested my PIN #. Now, just so you know, to book a container, you need to have your credit card information posted online. With expiration date, CMV #, you name it. Their ability to 'get into your security information' is concerning, because that lets me believe they can manipulate your credit information. I called back again and got another Hispanic. These people are immigrants, I'm convinced, with very little customer courtesy skillsets and what appears to be limited education and ability to speak the English language. I have already booked 2 U-Pack Re-Lo Cubes with ABF and they are a premier company. Their customer service is incredible, and they offer senior discounts. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER with PODS. Their BBB filed reports for damage are alarming, their customer service has always been deplorable (I called a few months back and the agent was OK but an older gentleman) so PODS pays very little to their phone help, most likely operating on incentives only. So you get low income, uneducated green cards in Florida, or seniors. It's just a corrupt company with too many complaints that are fully unjust and unassisted in nature. A disinterested customer 'trap' which gets your money but cares nothing for the customer. The videos are professional online but the infrastructure is broken, dysfunctional and toxic. Just stay away. Any time in the past I used a Florida moving outfit, it was a disaster, and I had to deal with a lot of nonsense, lies and deceit. This is true for IVL, and other moving companies operating out of Florida. Do not use PODS. I was able to 'bail' in time. PODS is also more expensive than U-Pack; about $400-$500.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI scheduled my order for a PODS container move with weight tickets (military) to move
from Charleston SC, to Boston MA. The container was delivered on the 16th of
June to my apartment in Charleston and I received the empty weight ticket
for the container via email. I loaded the container and it was picked up to
be shipped to the storage facility in Boston on the 23rd June, PODS should
have completed the weight ticket on that date when they picked up the
container from my apartment. They failed to do that or get the weight ticket
while the container was in transit to Boston. The container was delivered to
my apartment in Boston on the 8th of July and I called during the delivery
in order to schedule the empty container pick up as well as inquire about
the fully loaded weight ticket. The agent scheduled my pickup for the the
13th of July and completed a request form to send to the warehouse
requesting the fully loaded weight ticket, I was told it could take 72hrs
for the warehouse to respond. On the 9th of July an agent entered a third
weight ticket into my account (I did not call that day) but the container
was already delivered by this point, and I was charged for this third weight
ticket. The container was picked up on the 13th of July and I called to
inquire about the missing weight ticket, they called the warehouse and no
one answered, they filled out another request for the weight ticket and told
me it would be another 3-5 days for a response. I called back about every
other business day since asking about my weight ticket, creating a claim,
and the agents refuse to do anything other than request the weight ticket.
Pods charged me for another months rent on the storage container on the 18th
of July although I had already returned an empty container. Long story short, pods basically refused to refund my money even though they breached my contract and prevented me from getting my payments from the military for my move. MILITARY MEMBERS AVOID PODS.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starIf I could give them 0 stars I would. My experience has been a nightmare from the start. My pod is over a month late and I cannot get a straight answer as to where it is and when it's arriving. This has cost me a fortune to be without my things and now I am seeing new mystery charges to my credit card from pods and have been locked out of the online portal. I have had so many problems with them that I no longer trust that my pod is even coming. They're dishonest and don't care about their customers.PODS Moving & Storage

I'm pleased to report that not only do I have my pod and all of my things safely moved into my house, but the PODs customer care team reached out and made sure that I was taking care of. My things arrived undamaged and because I was nervous while it was on its way a CS associate even confirmed its location while it was on the road from ******* to *******. They were able to turn a very difficult situation into one with a positive outcome!Review fromSarah S.

1 starI will never go through PODS- AGAIN. I have emails, chat documents and have made several calls and attempts to have my claims corrected. My 1st claim was put in-in November due to being charged for storage and we were told we wouldnt be charged- the company was unable to pick up- this was not our fault. Well, we were charged. 2-4 weeks is what we were told for claims. Its now January 31st. And still nothing. THEN, we put in a 2nd claim because we were charged over our contract amount. The person helping us-or so I thought, never put that claim in! That was discussed the beginning of December. Its great when a big company takes more money from customers and then never corrects their mistakes. This doesnt even include the fact we had to be without our things for a week after being told it would be same day delivery.. HORRIBLE service.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starMy sister's POD was delivered to my home and upon pick up, in a snow storm, the driver's truck (which is clearly not 4WD), spun it's ******** and down my crushed asphalt driveway, onto my lawn and into my hayfield - ripping up the material and creating ruts. This large area will now necessitate we bring in a load of new material and hire a company to spread and grade it. The driver was not authorized to drive his truck onto my lawn or into my fields, which now had created a loss of income from that area of farmland due to the tire damage. PODS denied my claim and is not taking responsibility.PODS Moving & Storage
