5 starsThis is my second time using PODS service. We are extremely please. The process is simple, well explained and customer service is fantastic through each step. Costs were as explained and expected. Their drivers are top notch, pleasant, timely and careful. You won't be disappointed. We would use them again and highly recommend PODS.Review fromRose T

1 starI have NEVER left a negative review for a company. PODS has been horrific - DO NOT HIRE THEM. There are many very good employees at PODS; however, you will be given only partial information, charged substantially more than you are told or advised, you will not receive adequate support when you (inevitably) have a problem. I was given a broken container over 2 years ago for a move, but PODS claimed it would be weeks before they could swap out the container (which was not possible, as my lease was over & I was under a time constraint) - so I had to leave all of my stuff exposed overnight since the door would not close and my labor had to leave at midnight, when we discovered the door was inoperable. Over 2 years later, when I examined my goods in PODS storage - the door was still jammed and they had to use a forklift to open the door - which is when some of my stuff fell out and broke. Then, I was required to move all those goods into a new (larger) container with a working door. I was then charged for "delivery" of the new container (though it was at the same facility) AND the old container that I had emptied. It took 6 calls to get the delivery charge removed, but I was still charged for the larger container as well as the empty container. Then, I was told my delivery date was set - only to find out it was not and I was stuck paying for new storage as well as movers that I had to cancel. Then I was told I could not book for the day I had initially - but had to accept future dates (split, so I would need to hire labor on 2 separate days). THEN, I was informed (after numerous calls) that I would be charged $600 per container to have them utilize "city services" because the new storage was in an urban area. So, after all the issues and hours on hold with customer service, I was going to be charged an extra $1200?! The WORST experience I have ever had with a company. As I write this, I still have no resolution nor do I have my belongings.Review fromMatt O

5 starsI have to say that working with Pods has been extremely seamless and such a pleasant experience, which is a lot more than I can say for most companies that Ive been working with with regard to moving.I always get somebody on the phone relatively quickly, and they ensure that all my questions are answered and that my schedule is clear and efficient.Its such an easy way to move and I highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of spending way more money on professional movers!Review fromMark P

1 starDealing with PODS was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. They completely lied to me about times for pickups and deliveries. I only moved from Columbus to Cleveland and they held on to all of my stuff for 3 weeks. I had to live out of a suitcase for 3weeks because the lady that I signed up with lied to me. Once they had my money and belongings, the truth came out. This company has the rudest people on the phones and I will make a point of making sure that nobody I know uses them. 5 starsI had a very positive experience using PODS for my move from ** to **. While the price was slightly higher than other container companies, the clear communication from their staff made it well worth it! They walked me through every step and were upfront about all the expected charges, which I really appreciated. The delivery and pickup were right on schedule something that gave me peace of mind during a stressful move. Every driver I interacted with was professional, friendly, and handled the container with great care. Id definitely use PODS again and recommend them to friends!Review fromCassandra D

3 starsWhen it was dropped off there was some confusion. the best way we could resolve it was to contact the driver directly. Do no use the PODS *** numbers those people are worthless. I did not like all the emails and reminders of the delivery and pickup of the pod it was EXCESSIVE!!!!!! I swear I got one every hour on the hour. This is most important. I asked the Pod to be placed on the grass. I was told that I had to sign a waiver saying its ok to kill the grass while it sits there. Ummm if you don't know this then you should not be allowed to reproduce. Other than that all agreements were met. Picked up on time and dropped off on time. Just a few logistical issues.

5 starsGood low cost option - enabled me to move at my own pace. I moved 3 containers from ********* to **************** ~830 miles. Containers were dropped off on time within their 3 hour window provided the night before. I loaded a container per week and had pickup and drop off swaps. Driver's were all courteous and helped position containers exactly as I wanted. Two containers were new construction and had ample tie-offs inside. Third container was refurbished older that was slightly taller with eyelets that I used cargo strap hooks and D-clips. I strapped and tied my load between each support. Loads didn't shift at all during transport. PODS Web site is a little slow but allows complete tracking through entire process. Service personal we're very helpful and applied all discounts making this the most affordable option. Thank you.PODS Moving & Storage
