      After paying it all off and having it delivered. 2 months later they are trying to charge me more money.I contacted them and asked for a supervisor they would not send me to a supervisor period. They just keep telling me that I owe money. I didn't pay it in full which I did.Do not use pods unless you want to get overcharged.

      I had a horrible experience trying to get t quote yesterday. I spent over an hour and a half on the phone. And constantly they were demanding a credit card. And telling me the discounts they were offering were only good for 7 days. Oh, and for the last leg of the move they wouldnt even give me a quote until I gave a credit card for the first part. I asked to talk with supervisor, exhaling that I was calling on behalf of a not for profit and would need a written quote to submit. Well six hours later a call came and you might quest she asked for a credit card multiple times. I asked for the phone nu,ber for the corporate office, hopi g I could callback since it was now after 6PM. Well what she did was not give me a phone number, but transfer me back to the main line. I sis leave a message today asking for a call, but from this experience and reading the reviews I sure am reluctant to do business without a direct contact person.

      DO NOT USE PODS if you want them to keep on your schedule. We scheduled 3 months ahead before we moved. The PODS company changed our delivery time more than 6 times AND even delivered a "refurbished" POD that was a shipping container with wooden timber beams nailed down on the inside! The beans not only took up valuable space, but could have been disastrous in tearing up our boxes and/or scratching up our other items. We had them take back that POD and deliver the one that was supposed to be delivered. It cost us not only with two days in delays, but also other monies having to be paid out because of their delays. And then this happened. In the last two days, the 2 pods we had scheduled were to be delivered a day apart from each other. We wanted PODS to deliver the first POD in the morning/a.m. and when it was unloaded that day, pick it up the following morning and deliver the second POD and to pick it up the following morning after it was unloaded. Both PODS WERE NOT delivered as requested and we wasted literal hours waiting for them to arrive. No explanation, no answer as to why and the second (which BTW was the replacement POD) was in terrible shape! I repeat, no explanation for why. We had SO many broken items even though they were packed with attention to how fragile they were and with loads of packing and wrapping. I can’t help but wonder if the POD was hit because of the dents and dirt on it - and this was the replacement POD!!!! Needless to say, this entire situation could have been handled more quickly, efficiently and professionally if they would be more consistent and reliable. In ALL the years we have moved (and yes military moves!), we have never experienced movers with such disregard to anything but collecting money. We never asked for a refund or even quibbled about the cost until the delays started. We just wanted their attention to details and receive answers to our questions. We didn’t even receive that! Not even a courtesy apology.

      The experience we had was absolutely horrible! First of all, we created the schedule for the drop off and paid everything up-to-date. The next time I called after a week that we had to wait for, they said that we had a past due. They found out that it was their error so fine anyways the day that we were supposed to get delivered our furniture in the window that it was supposed to be delivered. They text us and said that we were rescheduled! Because the driver called off sick! We asked to go get our things ourselves because my husband came from out of town and only had a limited time. They said oh you have to give a 24 hour notice and Im like what? We need our stuff. We dont have much time before my husband leaves! And my daughter is a nurse and had worked the night before so she didnt get any sleep because they had to run and get a U-Haul . They did let us know later. Oh, youre fine we talked to them. Your container will be ready for you to gather your things, they went there. Nobody was there, and my daughter happened to run into one of the drivers! Thank God. Needless to say, we made three different complaints because when I called another time, they couldnt find the other one so they redid it and now theyre telling us that the screenshot of my daughters cash app that clearly states the payment made to U-Haul that they dont think theyre sure about that and they would reimburse up to $75. They are so unprofessional, the woman that wrote my daughter is very sarcastic and nature and was really quite rude! They dont care about you they really dont!!! I would do U-Haul NOT PODS!!!

      Our 93 year old mother has had a POD for 7 years. While being in the hospital for 3 months, she was not able to respond to their monthly text message authorizing payment so now we get collection calls left on her voice mail. Mother does not know PIN and has no email address. We try to call and without her PIN number they won't give us the amount due nor will they send a paper statement to her address. They won't give you to a supervisor without a PIN.This is a complete scam, set up with a calculation that some people will lose their phone, stop accessing payment and I am predicting at some point a letter will come trying to charge our mother exorbitant interest and finance charges. Do not use this company unless it is short term and make sure you keep your phone working and remember your PIN.

      If you are about to embark on the stressful process of moving and you are looking for a reliable way to transport your assets, avoid PODS by all means. In April of 2021, after many hours of trying to make arrangements with the company, so they would deliver a 16-foot container by the end of the month, I had that gut feeling that things would not go and end well. Regrettably, I was right. Without going into details, I can assure you that this company is a true rip-off. And it starts with all those flashy pictures you see everywhere where they advertise. Their containers look nothing like the ones portrayed here and there. Mine arrived dirty, with patches of motor oil, as well as dust and (now I know) small pieces of wood on the floor - most likely from someone elses damaged furniture! The driver - who, actually, was wonderful - felt so badly that he offered to clean everything up. I ended up setting a layer of cardboard boxes on the entire container floor so that my furniture would not suffer during the long journey. I even informed PODS about that occurrence (of the container not having been cleaned up) later in the day. I and a couple friends did all the packing, stacking, securing in place of my things, following all the guidelines provided by PODS. After a 1,500-mile long trip across country, the container was supposed to be stored in a climate controlled environment. That did not occur, and I discovered that when I unpacked my things six months later. Not to mention the damage sustained by many of my belongings. In spite of paying a monthly insurance fee, when I filed the claims, not one was approved. I was told that I was at fault for not packing things right!! Overall, I must have lost over $3,500 dollars in damaged items, and offered no apology. Now, two years later, I still have not been able to replace at least the furniture. I am sure that business customers, who resort to using PODS, get preferential treatment. Read all the reviews and think twice!!

      From the beginning of the transaction of having my belongings transported from California to Nebraska, I have received several different conflicting messages. Most conversations are through overseas customer service representatives. The final straw that broke this camels back was speaking to a representative, asking if pod could be delivered to York NE from the la Vista, NE. The rep said he would send a request and I was instructed to call back the next day with the answer. Ironically, I received a call from pods stating that the pod could be delivered to York NE and I was given the day it would be delivered. At no point in all these conversations, was I provided with any charges, redelivery fees and I asked am I being charged. Nothing. So the pod arrived as scheduled and while speaking to the driver he made a comment that this is unusual and an extra expense. Shortly after this conversation I noticed that my credit card was frozen due to Pod charging me $709. I immediately contacted Pod, spoke with Martha, who submitted a claim and recommended that I will hear from pods. I never heard from pods, removed suspended credit card and the next day, Pod took the money out of my account and still no communication. I'm outraged as their underhanded behavior and will never use this company again. This is pure theft and I am so ashamed of myself for trusting this company. I have barely any money and this was just plain greed. Shame on you pods.

      These people are relentless in their quest for your business. They employ extremely aggressive sales tactics and bombard you with calls and emails numerous times per day if you don't agree to their services straight away. When replying to yet another email message asking to be removed from their contact list (opt out buttons don't work), my message bounced back, stating that it had been blocked (?). Very shady company, in my opinion. I'm SO thankful I did not contract with them for my upcoming move!

      Dropped off fine. Was quoted to have pod 1 week to load, 1 month storage and then delivered another price. Called to set up drop off, got a whole new story about having to pay for another month of storage ... but first they say no record of us having one ( even though they took the $$ ) . I will never recommend this company. Bad business very disappointing have nothing good to say... except THEY SUCK!!!

      They failed us in EVERY way possible. It's just too much to even mention but anything you think could go wrong, trust that it has and it may. My honest word of advice... NEVER USE PODS!! Period!
