Order# ******* I have contacted this company numerous times because I do not want anymore of their product. I cant reach them by phone because hold times are extremely long. I have emailed 3 times to get this subscription cancelled. They emailed me and told me I am locked into a subscription that I cant get out of and they will continue to keep charging me money for this ongoing subscription. This is not a risk free trial. This is a trial that is an extreme risk because I cant get out of it and they are going to continue charging me money. I asked them not to send me anything else and they said they would because it is within their terms. This is not risk free and there is absolutely no way to cancel it. They have received all my emails and even replied. But they refuse to cancel.Business Response

I ordered relaxium sleep, on a risk free trial basis, agreeing to pay $7.95 which was charged to my account on January 27, 2023 (for 2 bottles). On February 9, 2023 I saw a charge for 119.90$. I contacted Relaxium by email 2x, to say I was not satisfied (at all) with their product and please cancel pending charges to my account, as I wanted no future shipments. I got no response. The following day, I phoned the company to reiterate what I stated via email. It was explained to me that I was not being charged for additional/future order, rather the 119.90$ was for the first 2 bottles. I did not understand that to be the case when I ordered it. It is my intention to return the unused bottle, when transportation is available to me to do so. I am livid to say the least that I was charged 119.90$ for 2 bottles that clearly stated was a free/risk free trial. I cannot upload emails from my phone as supporting documents.Business Response

I ordered 2 bottles of this product - Relaxium. After doing so I kept getting offers for more products: one after the other. I eventually just exited the site. I then received the product, the 2 bottles, and a bill for $7.98 which was paid. I was really looking forward to getting a much better quality of sleep. However nothing changed. I wrote a review reflecting that. Now, I see where I was charged another $119.90. I definitely do not recall any statement that I would be receiving this bill.I am so upset that this company does this to the public. My husband thought he was getting a free trial of a sleep aid and just paying shipping. He ordered it online in November and received 1 bottle of sleep aid. In December we charged $119.90 and January 2 more bottles came in the mail and was charged another $119.90. We did not realized that our credit card was being charged until Feb 4th. I called and spoke with someone from the company and she told me my husband is on an automatic subscription because it was not cancelled. My husband said he thought he was just getting a trial bottle and did not want anymore of the sleep aid. We would like a full refund of our $239.00 we paid to this company.Business Response

I noticed the advertisements on TV about getting two free bottles of Relaxium sleep for the shipping charge of $7.95. So I called them to order on 12/06/22 I believe. I heard nothing about a trial period or additional fees other than the shipping charge of $7.95 of which I gave my debit card number to cover shipping. I tried one tablet and had horrible nightmares. At the end of January 2023, I received my bank statement. On 02/01/23 my daughter came to balance my checkbook, noticing on 12/27/22 my account was charged $119.90 for a recurring subscription by Relaxium. We immediately called Relaxium to inquire, as they had never said anything about a recurring subscription or additional fees to me when I placed the order. Now she says the bottles aren't free, it's a free trial. They claimed they tell everyone about the fees, subscriptions, etc and it is a recorded call. We asked if we could then hear the recording of the conversation. She said that wasn't possible but she would read what they would have told me and tell everyone. It was very long with all the information of fees, etc. of which they NEVER told me when I placed my order. I asked if I could get a refund. At first she said no because it wasn't within the 14 day trial period, but then the said she would credit half the amount of the $119.90 charge. Unfortunately I also found out the next shipment has been sent out and I will be charged $111.95 more as of 01/30/23. At this point I'm very upset and asked if I could talk to anyone above her which she said no. Then asked what I can do to get out of paying again for something I never signed up for. She said I could try to write REFUSED on package when I receive it or I could send it back priority and pay the shipping. I was also told I need to call back AGAIN to try to get a refund for the $111.95 that will be on my next statement. I did cancel any future shipments. I feel they owe me a full refund minus the $7.95 shipping I agreed to. THIS IS A SCAM!Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by Relaxium in reference to complaint ID ********. I do not think they provided the information they say they did and if they did it was completely misleading with their advertisements as many complaints have noted. Seems a little fishy that there are so many similar complaints almost identical to mine that this information was not given when ordering. It is their word against mine and they can say they said it but they did not give any actual recording of our conversation to confirm it. I did call back several times and have received my refund for second shipment I returned to them, which also was contradicting how to return it depending which person you talked to. In addition I called after I received their response on this complaint and received an additional $30 credit on the first shipment. I feel I should have received a full refund minus the $7.95 shipping I did agree to pay in the beginning, but I am done calling and fighting over it so I will accept this last credit and be done with it. This company should be put out of business.. Thank you BBB for looking into this.

This is nothing I agreed to and should be reimbursed for these two ********. Very disappointed with how this Company handles themselves and transactions. Hello,It seems this issue has been happening to a lot of people for a while. I've ordered Relaxium on 12/26/22, I think i received it on 1//1/23.. i don't remember exactly! As stated on the ad, it's a free trial, just pay for shipping of $7.95. The product did not work for me!! I didn't realize until now when doing the bills that i had another charge of $119.90 on 1/12/23.. that's not even a full 2 weeks of trial!! Today 1/30/23, I called them, the customer support rep tried to refund me $60, i said no so she then went up to $85. I said no i don't want to pay for something i did not order so she said you can return it, it may take weeks to get a refund.. you hear all kinds of stories about this stuff and lost mail somewhere.. no product, no refund!! At the very least, they need to offer a return label for their unwanted shipped items. The other issue i have is that they used the credit card info provided for shipping to charge my account without my permission.. is that legal? I read their response listed here, all i can say is that it's clear now in black and white but definitely not in your ad where most of us have made the order. In August 2022 I ordered 6 bottles of their sleep aid. When it arrived I started using it but after a few days I started getting headaches, Since this was the only new item that I had started using I decided to stop using it to see what would happen. The headaches stopped. I called them to return the unopened bottles and was told that I could not since I had opened the box they arrived in. Made no sense but I then asked to have my auto ship cancelled and was told that they would do that. In early December 2022 and bag arrived with another shipment and I discovered that I was charged $176.00. I called again and was told to return the bag and **** it return to sender and I would a full refund. Still nothing. I went on their website to send them an email at help.relaxium.com and it does not work. I did find that they require a return authorization number. I was never told that. They have almost $400 of mine for a product that does not work. The debit card that was used has expired as of this past Friday and I want a full refund via checkBusiness Response

We are sorry for the miscommunication. An RMA is required to ensure it credits the account upon the return. I was able to check and it was RTS and the account has been credited accordingly. ******** card should issue the refund to the customer even if his card expired.
