They had a risk free trial offer all you have to do is pay $7.95 for shipping. I paid for the shipping on 2/12/23 received them on 2/21/23 and then on 3/02/23 I receive a $119.90 charge on my card. I tried to contact them through the live chat. They sent me a notice saying that I only had 14 days to tell them if I wanted to keep the product or be charged $119. Nowhere on that webpage with that ever said or in the agreement at all this company is fraudulent scammers and they have no customer service and refuse to answer my emails! No way can you afford $119 for a 30 day supply when the ad was for risk free get your free 30 day supply risk free all you have to pay for shipping! Huge liars! Of course that they took the ad down so theres no proof and as I can see if they have been scamming people left and right when you go to the website and track your order it doesnt even let you do anything or help it off the whole thing is a scam.. SCAMMERS!! Not to mention that the pills did not even work they said I had 17 days to contact them which I did and still they ignored me!!!!!!!Business Response

When you hear Governor ********'s voice promoting a product...Run! Relaxium is a money pit! First they lie about the "free" product, then they lie about what it will do for you, then they start charging your credit card for hundreds of dollars with out notifying you! When you make contact with them to get them to stop the charges, they want more money just to send the product back to them. BEWARE that if you open the ************* after trying and failing on the first bottle, they will begin even more charges to your credit card! As has previously been described, I ordered what was said to be a Free Trial on 2/1/23 and agreed only to pay for shipping $7.95. Was assured by representative that this would be the only charge incurred. In casually checking credit card statement I noticed a charge from Relaxium for $119.90 on 2/18/23. Called company today 3/7/23 to voice displeasure about this deceptive charge, Also told them cancel any future charges in using my credit card account and how disappointed I am in their business practices! I ordered relaxium sleep, on a risk free trial basis, agreeing to pay $7.95 which was charged to my account on or about January 7, 2023 (for 2 bottles). On February 26, 2023 I saw a charge for $******. I contacted Relaxium to say I was not satisfied (at all) with their product and please cancel pending charges to my account, as I wanted no future shipments. It was explained to me that I was not being charged for additional/future order, rather the ******$ was for the first 2 bottles. I did not understand that to be the case when I ordered it. I am livid to say the least that I was charged $****** for 2 bottles that clearly stated was a free/risk free trial. I am totally discusted that Relaxium has such a scheme. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, Relaxium has a lot of work to do concerning the confusion of the so called "free trail" of their product. Customer be aware that the "free trail" of ONE bottle commits you to a monthly subscription of TWO bottles for over $100 dollars. The only option to get out of the subscription is taking action against Relaxium. Thanks to the BBB my complaint if complete. I just received my refund of $119.90 today.

This is one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. My wife saw this ad on TV and ordered the free sample, which had a shipping fee of $7.95. We were billed for that on 12/21/22, but we never received anything. On 1/9/23 we were billed $****** on our debit card. We did not notice this until 2 weeks later when my debit card was declined. We received 2 bottles of Relaxium sleep just before that, but assumed that these were the pills from the free trial. I called my bank and they told me that my card had been cancelled due to suspicious activities. Somehow, someone, not me or my wife, had put in a stop order on the payment of $******. When I informed the bank that we did not start this process, They had me change my passwords and they took the stop order off. {at this time I didn't know that this was a fraudulent charge}. As soon as I talked to my wife and realized that it was indeed fraudulent, I called my bank back up and tried to have the stop order reinstated. They informed me that once it was closed, that they couldn't open the case again. I immediately called Relaxium and tried to get a refund, but they told me that they couldn't do that because the bank had still not gotten the money back to them. We waited 7 days and called back and they refused to give us anything because the 30 day warranty had run out. We have contacted the company multiple times and they refuse to make any restitutions. Add to that that my wife used a whole bottle, thinking that this was the free sample, and it didn't do any good for her. I almost forgot to mention that this product is sold on Amazon for *****, or 2 bottles for *****. On the Relaxium site 2 bottles are ******! That is $54.40 more just because you didn't look to see if Amazon carried it. Now that is a trustworthy company.Business Response

On Jan 31, I ordered Relaxium Sleep through their web-site, on a "risk free trial", agreeing to pay $7.95 for shipping which was charged to my AMEX account on February 1, 2023 (for 2 bottles). On February 17, 2023, I received an email from the ******************************** asking me to confirm a possibly fraudulent charge attempt from Relaxium for $****** (which they said had been declined). I told them I had not authorized the charge. They said that would be the end of it. On February 22, another identical charge hit my AMEX account but this time it was not declined by AMEX. I contacted AMEX again but this time they said there was nothing they could do - even though I had disputed the previous charge. Upset, and frankly bewildered about what was going on, I went back to the Relaxium web-site and found that they had set up an "account" for me, on which the two charges were reflected. I also saw that I now had an "Active Subscription", which, again, I had not authorized nor received any communication from Relaxium about. Assuming, correctly, that this would mean regular shipments and charges every month going forward, I succeeded (I hope) in cancelling the subscription. Before I finally got acknowledgement that the subscription was indeed cancelled, I was offered at least three different alternative pricing structures - each one cheaper than the one I had just rejected. These people don't give up easily ! I went back to the original "Free Trial" order confirmation email and could find no statement that they would charge me ****** if I did not notify them before the end of the 30-day period and return one of the two bottles unopened - and at my expense. It is clear from the many other complaints on your site that I am not alone in feeling I was completely misled by Relaxium. I would like a full refund of the ******. If they want their product back, I am happy to send back both bottles, but they should provide a pre-paid shipping label.Business Response

Subject of the day. Relaxium sleep. Yes, I ordered the "free trial" about 2 weeks ago. No, I haven't used it yet. But today I received a charge on my account for $128.29. I may not be an accountant but this doesn't sound free to me. I now have to dispute this with my bank, report them to the Better Business Bureau and tell EVERYBODY to ignore the ************************* commercials and expose these crooks for who they really are. DON'T order this product unless you enjoy a recurring bill every month. This is complete ********. Let all your friends and family know this is a scam. I repeat DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. I agreed to a trial offer to pay shipping charges. I did NOT agree to a recurring monthly fee. This is deceptive practice and marketing. These people need to be stopped.Business Response

Ordered the advertised as shown on TV commercial by *************************. Paid the $7.95 ship handling on 01.30.23. Took more than a week to receive the two bottles. Tried out, didn't really work. Then got a fraud alert from AMEX, Relaxium billed me for $119.00. Amex did decline the charge and reported the issue as Fraud. FREE, not true, so confronted Relaxium by phone to accuse, false, misleading advertising.Also reported to the **** fraud holiness by fine, and filed a complaint with ** attorney General, they are based in ***********.Relaxium is a corrupt, dishonest company, considering to go to press as ************************* should resign his TV ads immeridiatly. I'm kindly requesting the customer to reach out to me at ************ as I would like to assist him in any way possible. We want to rectify any miscommunication of the offer. When referring to the number of complaints, they account for about half of one percent of our customers (and recognize that one is too many) and when speaking with them, most do say that they failed to read the terms and conditions. Most companies do have complaints, unfortunately, but we do take care of these customers that are unhappy with our product or service. We always honor our 30 day money back guarantee. I've checked the customer's account and his charge was declined by his card company (as I understand he asked them to do) and when he spoke with our CS agent, he was refunded for the shipping. Our apologies if our customer service agent could have done better at assisting the customer. I will listen to the call and speak with the agent as we do not tolerate rude or dismissive behavior from an agent. We ask the customer to please forgive us and give us a chance to make it up to them. Best regards.
