      This my problem with ADT i them 151 dollars i still owe them ***** I Authorized them take the 151 dollars i didn't Authorized them to take the ***** so my bank account is in overdraft 35 dollars plus the ***** so I called them and tried to get it's reverse they said they reverse the payment so I can get refund but it will be late my bank account will be in overdraft ADT is a **************** can't reverse a payment that they didn't have Authorization to take out my bank account and didn't last month only the 3th my mortgage was late because they took out money wasn't Authorized to do that why I calling this Obsolete how can you trust them to take care of your house or anything

      Soon after my installation of the system, the camera quit working. I called the company and was told that they do not own the cameras and were unable to give me a phone number to call for service. After repeated calls, they finally sent someone out. It worked for a very short time and went out again. I feel at that time they had broken the contract for no service. We went with a different company. They still expect me to pay out the ********************** order to keep my good credit score, I have continued to pay them for about 2 years now for nothing. As of today, they still want another $500 from me. Don't go with this company.

      Awful policies. Do not get hooked in with them. I am an Alder customer with Alder cameras. I signed a contract with Alder 8 years ago not ADT. I have 4 cameras with Alder and none of them work at all anymore. I called to have them serviced and the gentleman that came said they can't service those cameras. He said you need to cancel the camera part of your service. No problem, right! WRONG! I have spent literal HOURS on the phone trying to get this resolved. I said the cameras no longer work and you can't service them so I want to not pay for the camera service. After hours on the phone, I have been given two options. 1. Sorry, but you have to pay for the cameras until your Alder contract is up in 2028 and don't forget to cancel a month in advance or it will automatically renew! SO PAY FOR CAMERAS THAT DON'T WORK AND THEY CAN'F FIX! or 2. they WILL cancel the payment for those cameras as long as I sign another contract with ADT and get their cameras. By the way, that upgrade costs $4,000. So, they CAN cancel but won't. I have spoken with some nice ADT people who know this is ridiculous but the only thing they can do is lower what I'm paying for the NON WORKING cameras. Please do not use ADT!!! They do not care about their customers. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH A GOOD COMPANY, LOOK AT HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. ADT IS DOING WRONG AND THEY KNOW IT AND THEY DON'T CARE!

      If you are thinking about going with this company, DON'T. We signed up for this and were never told about a contract. In fact, the salesperson said we could stop anytime. Over a year later we have fallen on hard times and can't afford the almost $100/mo that is costs to keep running. We are now told we are in a contract for 36 months and if we try not paying well we found out the hard way the next month we were charged double and fees. YOu can't get out of this contract even if they said there wasn't a contract. Very deceptive. We literally can't afford this and they won't let us out.

      What a bunch of thieves!!! My system was originally was originally with *****, many years ago. Then they were bought out by ADT. Nothing but a mess today... I requested a cancellation in June, but I still got bills. I tried to cancel again today and they are demanding over $700 to cancel stating that I signed up in 2021 for five years....What a joke - bad customer service as well. I was on the phone for over an hour on hold

      The price astronomically shot up from what was quoted in the call. $2500 for installation ? and equipment is not upto the ***** Now they are giving pain in the cancellation to get out of the 3 day window (1.5 hours with customer service). I thought these practices were a thing of the past, disappointed with the experience here.

      Scammers! Misleading customers into 3 year contract with 75% cancellation fee which was never mentioned! Stay away from this company who scams people. It should be illegal to make such a contract. *** enforces easy cancellations for customers, those people want to take your money for nothing!

      Worst Customer Service EVER! You will be trapped into a 5 year year commitment. They do NOT tell you if you cancel you will owe them over ******* for equipment. This company is total scam! Be very cautious, if you choose to sign up read all the fine print.

      Worst security system I have a camera on my driveway and specifically on my truck in case something was to happen. Well just last night 8/24/25 my truck was broken into and my firearm was stolen the camera picked up NOTHING. No sense in getting a camera system that doesnt even work when you need it to!

      This company is the worst. I wanted them to come in to reactivate the adt system I had. I just bought a home that had all the doors and windows and a sensor complete only thing missing was the base. The tech lied said it was simpli safe. they just reactivated what I had. I asked than where is the system I had no answer. I cancelled they took money from my account, wouldn't give it back unless they took the system so they robbed me not once but twice. The tech ***** that came to retrieve it even admitted to the ADT people that this was definitely my system so they have that on recording. Than ****** ******* tried to lie to me over and over stating that even if an ADT system is paid off its still their system that is BS!! She tried to give me $300 for a Simpli safe and I refused to sign. 1, because she lied to me and 2. Now its the principal. I need your help on this before I end up going to a lawyer. They are so unprofessional. Their own tech told them the ADT system was mine can you please assist.
