      I canceled my services with ADT in August. I received mail telling me about my cancellation fees were due upon receipt. I woke up this morning 9/28/25, to a charge of $1110.10 to my bank account that I DID NOT authorize for ADT to make! Im told I have to call back on Monday to speak with account management!! I never had a conversation with them about making this payment or setting up a payment plan!!! They literally just took it without a freaking conversation with me! Im glad that I switched and Ill never suggest for anyone else to do business with them!!!

      ADT came out quickly to install our system. However, an inexperienced person was sent to our home. He was at our house for approximately 7 hours and didnt complete the installation. We have window sensors not working, missing parts on door locks, no key for one door fire alarm not functioning. Installer said he would be back the next morning to finish - never called and never showed up. After calling ADT support we were told they could come back in November! Not a happy customer!! Still waiting for a date to resolve issues.

      Liars! I moved my business to another location. I'm being charged an early termination fee and installation fee. Both of which I was told by a representative that the termination fee would be removed once new service at the new location was completed. That was 3 months ago. Still getting threats, I asked for installation of my keypad out in my garage so I could hear it, the first ********** lied and said they were not allowed to install it there. I called again and had a ********** come and move it but I'm being charged a trip fee and reinstallation. The trip fee was supposed to be waived but there is no record of conversation. How convenient! Now Im locked in a contract with unethical business practices.

      I have been a customer for 5 1/2 years with ********************** and just found out that it will take 30 days for them to terminate services when I will be moving in three days. No one could assist me at all. How do I cancel my services.

      I purchased a adt alarm system after my packages was stolen off my front step. When I spoke to the ***resentative she told me she can have everything ***** to me. Roughly three days later I received the package. I only received one door sensor, no motion sensor and the modem. I spoke with adt that Monday and told them I was promised a wall mounted panel. Never received it. I was told that I would have to pay an extra $200 for the panel and an expert would have to come to install ********** an extra $99. Then on the following day while trying to program it. I called back to adt. Told them the connection issue I was having trying to set up the equipment. They told me they couldnt help n for me to while a week for an export to CALL me to walk me through. The third day of having the equipment. I figured out what the connection issues my self and realized I didnt have but one door sensor. So now Three days of not having everything to connect. I had to call back about door/ window sensors that was promised in my contract and a motion sensor. I mean like really. Whats the purpose of having a alarm system if I have no sensors to detect anything? So I called back once again told them about the panel that I didnt get AGAIN, the 3 sensors that was missing and the motion sensor. The ***resentative told me that I didnt need the panel and to go buy a shelf to put the base on. Or give them 300 MORE dollars and they can send out a technician to install everything that was missing. I told him if he listens to the conversation that I had with the *** when I signed up that I requested everything he is trying to get more money for. ADT IS A RIP OFF. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THERE PEOPLE, CUSTOMERS, OR PRODUCTS. ONLY THING THEY WANT IS UR MONEY. So I told him to send me a return label and Ill send the equipment back. If I cant protect my house with the equipment the right way. With the stuff I requested for the beginning. I dont need your services at all.

      I signed a contract with ADT for home security services at my home in *******, **. During installation, I was pressured into signing paperwork that differed substantially from the original quote. The final contract included much higher installation fees, added equipment I never explicitly requested, and higher monthly service charges. On top of that, I was not provided the proper FTC-required cancellation form.When I raised these issues with ADTs customer relations department, their response was cold and dismissive. Instead of listening, they treated me like I had no choice but to accept it.Most concerning is the deceptive way ADT handles installation pricing. They charge fixed fees per item, which were never itemized for me, rather than billing for honest time worked. In my case, equipment cost was $3,233 but installation was $2,760, almost $387 per hour for one tech working 7 hours. That feels unfair and should be *************** advice to other consumers: if you want ****** Nest products, buy them yourself and hire a local technician at an hourly rate. You will save a fortune and avoid this kind of treatment.

      I had an extremely disappointing experience with ADT. After missing a few payments due to being hospitalized while my daughter was in the **** (and later passing away), I reached out to them hoping to get my service reinstated under a hardship circumstance. I spoke with multiple customer service representatives and was told (confirmed by a manager) that I could reinstate services by paying my past-due balance of $210.However, when I called back to finalize this, ADT went back on their word and instead demanded over $1,500 for a full contract renewal, refusing to honor the arrangement their own manager confirmed. To make matters worse, the last representative I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive of my situation.I understand that business is business, but integrity and compassion should matter too. ADTs customer service was not only unhelpful but dishonest. Based on my experience, I would never recommend ADT to anyone. They do not keep their word and clearly dont value their customers.

      I signed up with ADT and only needed their services for a year and six months because I sold my house. It was extremely difficult to cancel and took many frustrating phone calls to finally get it resolved. The early termination fees are excessive. I received, at least, six phone calls from ADT **** wanting me to transfer to my new house. I told each of them NO and to put my phone number on a do not call but they continued to harass me. Do your research and know everything in your contract because ADT is super expensive and traps you into large fees if you try to cancel. I will never use their service again and highly recommend you carefully learn their practices, pricing, and high pressure sales to get your money. I'm a HARD NO for ever contacting them again.

      Our Outside cameras have not been working since July 31st, 2025. I was not aware of this. So I called ADT around Sept 19th. They wanted me to do a virtual call, I did not want to do a virtual call, I said I wanted someone out to fix the problem, She was not happy with my answer. Eventually she gave me an appointment for Tuesday the 23, times were 5pmto8pm , ridiculous times, needless to say no one showed. They think I'M stupid, those times were not feasiable. They never gave me an e-mail for the appointment. Tomorrow is another day.

      **************** is horrible. My account has been charged for a camera I've never had. I requested a refund or credit to my account and no one has been able to assist me. So, I canceled my service and now my system beeps regularly for no reason. **************** stated there's nothing they can do about it.
