      **** ALERT: ************ sends door-to-door **** to target new homeowners with offers that sound greatbut only for the first year. Youre excited about your new home, you think youre getting a deal, so you sign. Then when you try to cancel after that first year, youre suddenly told youre locked into a three-year contract and owe over $1,000 to get out of ***** make it worse, they raise the rate after the first year, so you end up overpaying in multiple ways.Avoid this company and their door-knocking sales **** at all costs. Theyre focused on commission, not honesty, transparency, or customer care. If zero stars were an option, thats exactly what theyd get.

      These guys are crooks. Pick any other security system. Their marketing deal told me that they were lowering my rate but actually these were contracting me into another 5 years!Now I'm stuck with their terrible service for 4 more years! Buyer beware.Use anything other than ADT. Cancel if you have them now.

      In my experience, this has been the worst security company Ive ever worked with. When my system started having problems, I reached out for help repeatedly and for months, I was told some version of well look into it. Despite calling over and over, I could not get a technician scheduled. Eight months went by with no real resolution.Meanwhile, the system behaved like it had a mind of its own. My alarms would go off randomly, sometimes in the middle of business hours, sometimes in the middle of the night. Every time, Id have to stop what I was doing to reset everything and hope it would stay quiet for a while.The part that still frustrates me the most is what happened when someone actually tried to break into my business. After months of false alarms, the one time I truly needed the system to work, it didnt respond at all. No alert, no call, nothing. I only found out because of the physical damage left ********* say I felt unprotected is an understatement. I felt ignored, dismissed, and ultimately left on my own by a company that was supposed to help keep my livelihood safe.If youre considering a security provider, ** strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I wish someone had warned me before I signed up.

      We have an upcoming appointment set up for services scheduled for Friday 12pm-4pm. So I tried reaching out to the tech Thursday since he said I can reach out to him directly if I needed something changed and of course no answer. So the next morning on Friday before the appointment I was able to get ahold of the tech Ren. I told him that I will have to cancel the appointment due to my wife being in the hospital and going through end of life. I told him I will reach out when Im ready or decided to. My wife passed away Friday afternoon. And of course the next four days Im getting calls from them about rescheduling and all this stuff! Like Im not sure how you cant understand the part of me reaching out to you IF I WANTED TO or when Im ready. The biggest scumbags and Im so glad I did not give them a single *****. Pieces of s*** company. I know you guys have notes but obviously you guys are way too smart to read them.

      ******** company! I should have my head examined for ever thinking this was a good decision. Our card we paid our monthly bill with was compromised and we had to switch cards. Of course they didnt switch our card like we asked them to do which lead to a cancellation fee! Got that taken care of and they cancelled us again for non payment which we made!! Hours on the phone! Switched between departments! The equipment constantly has low batteries and falls off the windows. Random alarms in the middle of the night for a low battery. How is this place still in business? And who is getting good service?!

      I cancelled my monthly service charge or whatever you would say I called spoke with someone they assured me they removed my cards from files and cancelled services so I wouldnt be charged this upcoming time, what do you know 3 days later im charged I filed a block against them and will file a chargeback due to the fact I no longer authorized for services i cancelled ************ is something else, at least their third party retailers are, as a first time homebuyer, I was contacted by one "savehaven" on the day I was moving into my house. so first off just under a lot of stress, I let my guard down normally i wouldnt have signed up for this but with all the stuff i had signed and gone through prior days I was exhausted and my guard was down. Now thats on me, Some info is I havent even had the service for a month, before wanting to cancel, I was aware of the fee fine, send me a bill ill work it out to pay cancel my stuff. OH no this is where it gets unethical and borderline illegal in my opinion and this is where i ask ADT please dont authorize retailers if they dont follow your rules 100%, I was told by an adt agent i could cancel within 30 days if i didnt want it, however they said i couldnt cause it was through safehaven. I was made aware of the cancellation fee I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE 1. we wont cancel until you pay, um no cancel my s*** and send me a bill ill pay it done and done you cant hold me hostage through extortion. 2 THREE DAYS had i been fully aware I could only cancel within three days i never would have signed this s*** that I dont even need, on top of the only reason I considered cause i was told they offered veteran discounts and deals to veterans yeah that didnt happen. so all out just lied to. please to anyone just get your own stuff like ring its vastly cheaper than dealing with this ********, why these types of companies still exist in all the stuff we have now idk

      Eleven years a customer. Eleven years. After that, I cancelled. In good faith. Three months after that, they're trying to charge me almost $300 for services even with a device disconnected. Never trust this company. They ruined my faith after eleven years with terrible customer support with an attempted cancellation.

      The technician assigned to fix our alarm system showed up to our location, left a note on the door saying he'd called us three times (he hadn't called once), and then left. We have surveillance footage of him not even bothering to knock on the door (we were waiting inside for him). This is fraud, plain and simple, and we will be registering complaints with the police and any city agencies that have some authority over this kind of behavior. ADT hires bad people, doesn't hold them accountable, and wouldn't even waive the $59 service charge for the visit. Disgraceful. Avoid them at all costs.

      ADT has been fantastic. We had an incident where our door didnt close all the way, which triggered the alarm while we were out. ADT immediately notified police and reached out to us right away. They calmly walked us through what happened over the phone and encouraged a quick check of the house for peace of mind. We felt genuinely safe and cared for. Im so grateful for ADTtheyve been an exceptional security system for our family. I highly recommend ADT to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, and affordable security system.

      Terrible service. System often give false alerts. **************** isnt helpful. Different agent gives different/conflicting information. Need to go throw a phone call to show them youre trying to fix it before theyll send anyone out to help. Id give a 0 if thats an option.
