  Horrible customer service. 1st agent provided misinformation whichever led to me having none of my cameras to work. Which puts my family in danger. After 6 agents still not working. So now I have to pay for someone to come out. This is ridiculous. 182.00 for 1st hour and about 50 each hour. I asked where are the notes of each of my calls. I thought they were being monitored. So someone messed up by not provided correct info. Not notes in system and not text about re your service. I'm so missed I have no camera. When I had made the 1st call everything was working.

  Huge scam! I spoke with a *** to get a good deal on security and we agreed. When the tech came he installed premium parts instead and said this was all needed. I called the ***s back after the fact to clear things up and see what that was about and they told me a branch manager will call. Never got a call. Called a few more times over the course of a month trying to get some help or clarification and kept getting run around. Last time I called I was transferred to TEN different people!!!! And had to tell the same story to each one. By the last *** I was so sick of being laughed at that I asked if they can just cancel the service at this point. He told me the cancellation fee will be a little over $2,000. Highly unprofessional to say the least. Will make sure to spread the word about them.

  What a total scam. RUN!!! You'll have an impossible time getting out of the contract and they will sell you things you DO NOT NEED. They do not monitor your property and made me buy a control panel for $600.00 that I didn't need. All you need is to go buy your own ****** nest cameras and download the ****** nest app. They literally sold me all this equipment and then told me I needed the ****** nest app to monitor my cameras. **************** and sales people LIE.WHAT A ****************

  fraudulent and bad company-when I signed up the rep **** never told me this was an extensive contract and he never went over the cancellation policy. I called to cancel and they told me if would cost thousands of dollars. What a rip off. I would never use them if I were you

  BEWARE: Stay away from ADT. They will charge you for services you never get and never refund you.I strongly advise against using ADT. I was charged for labor on a service I never received or authorized. When I called, they admitted the mistake and promised a refund, but it never happened. Every follow-up was met with delays and excuses, and no one ever took responsibility. I was promised a callback from a manager that never happened. I spent hours on hold only to be transferred from one rep to another, none of whom seemed empowered or willing to actually solve the problem.The service itself is overpriced, outdated, and not worth the stress. When you combine that with dishonest billing practices and a complete lack of accountability, you end up with a company that takes advantage of its customers.I cant recommend a company that overcharges customers and then fails to honor its own commitments. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from ADT. There are plenty of better, more transparent options out there.

  This company should get negative stars! I called ADT to ask if they could install a security system for me and was assured they could. We were given our options and signed up. We were told the equipment would arrive and that I should call to schedule the install once that happened. The equipment arrived and I called only to be told they do not install in our area. But that conversation took place after multiple times of being placed on hold, transferred from one representative to another, and even the call being dropped more than once. When the calls were dropped, I didn't receive a call back and had to go through the entire process again and learned they can't call customers back on high call volume days and that the calls drop when you have been on the phone a certain length of time. WHAT?! I cancelled the service and returned the products. Then I had to call and go through this all over again to have my deposit refunded. And then again when I was billed for the first month of service. Then, I received a notice that I was 2 payments behind. This is the worst company I have ever tried to do business with.

  Today approximately 2:30 in the afternoon, I received a knock on my door woke me up. I had to put my dog out also outback so that he wouldnt try to escape out the door when I answered it only to find out it was an unsolicited *** from ADT. He informed me that he was part their relocation service. I told him that was out and out because theyve never had their service nor had to ever subscribe or ask or even inquired about it.. and I basically slammed the door in his face. I do not like this invasion of privacy number one number two they are searching public records. I recently moved in this house a month ago and getting this information I immediately have been flooded with mailers from them in my mail at least 2 to 3 every week trying to get me to subscribe to their service, which I do not need. I moved into one of the safest neighborhoods in my area zero crime rate why would I need their services when I have zero crime rate and Im home most of the time now because Im semi retired. I have a dog who is very alert and heres everything. I also have plenty of guns in my home for self protection if I need that and I have my own Internet cameras, I would not pay for their overpriced ******** service maybe if I live in a high crime area possibly but I never plan on living in a high crime area. I actually move moved from a rule setting on a farm where I had zero incidents in 40 years to a very nice very high class neighborhood. This company is a horrible company when theyre knocking on the door and lying to you. Do you really wanna trust them with your life? I dont think so. They mis***resent and lied to you. They go and pull public records to target you for their service. thats the only way they wouldve been coming to me. This house did not have **** prior to me buying it. I know the couple I bought it from. They didnt have it didnt need it just like I dont so I advise anybody that reads these reviews to think about that sort of thing before you subscribe.

  been a customer for about 13 years on Mar ******* system failed and I called ADT to clear system error worked about 2 hrs to no avail asked that the acct be canceled as the system was not operational and the monitoring was not working - since Mar they continue to bill me for monitoring which they have no contact - now getting a call every day to collect - have told to not call me again as the last work they did was in March 24 they continue to herrase us they are trying to collect 6 months and the system is out - the continued calls are very upsetting
