      ADT is very helpful and prompt during the sales and installation process. But they have a bait and switch in place! Once everything is installed and youve signed the contract, their service for any issues afterwards SUCKS! Its very difficult to schedule appointments or even talk to someone! NEVER USE ADT!!! Cant wait for my contract to be up so that I can cancel my service with them!

      Have been with ADT for years I called 28 Oct to cancel. I have called everyday since holding in excess of 30 minutes each time only to give up and hang up. Today I called again.. waited 40 minutes got a human when i said i wanted to cancel they sent me to someone else, held again then another person who transferred me again. I have been through 4 people and still on hold Its now been 1 hour 10 minutes and still no human and no cancellation. This is the worst company out there. Its all a scam to make you hold so you give up and try another day. This company needs investigated and shut down ! this is taking advantage of the consumer !!!!!!!!

      This company is an expert in stealing, I moved my service from one state to another and I still have to pay for the service that I had in the other state, Sons of his mother f****** s*** company.

      I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ADT TO ANYONE, I ***** HOLD 4 TIMES FOR A TOTAL OF200 MINUTES BEFORE I FINALLY REACHED A LIVE PERSON, YOU CAN'T TALK TO A LIVE PERSON ANYMORE. NEED TO USE CHAT. TOO BAD FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER NO STARS

      so i canceled the service because i was moving but none the rep was up front about what to do they keep saying other stuff and just confusing. then they didnt tell me at first that was being charge for the equment when i did cancel. all i get its in the contract so i would say read the contract because they got you once you do that worst services i have have not worth the money. i swithc to the blue didnt know was on contract the rep just said hey you got sign papers. then turn out you have to sign papers and missed by a day of the 30 day and they denied calcing with out fee. worst company will never do this again then the rep said are voice doesnt count just the contract that stands. why do you hire reps that do no rep your company well. good luck with that.

      ***** signed a contract for 36 months and refused to cancel services and treat me and other people in my subdivision *****, if we cancel we have to pay for future services that we won't need!!! The president just signed into law no Company can charge customers for things and fees like this ...

      I attempted to cancel ADT services after finally ending my contract with ADT. I called multiple times to talk to their customer service team but have yet to get a hold of someone even after 30+ minutes on hold. I tested a theory and called their new customer line, and they picked up the phone so quickly it was incredible. I then explained to the customer service rep that I would like to cancel my account but that I was having a hard time talking to an actual person, and then I got placed on hold again. Unbelievable. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICES.

      Sold my house been trying to get the service cancelled for months. Paid over $2000 to have equipment installed. **************** ***** cant reach anyone, Would have service transfered to my new house but after this fisaco that will never happen. Need to reach someone so I can get the billing to stop asap.

      I did everything I was supposed to to cancel my service with them and heard nothing for a few years now all of a sudden I am being harassed and threatened by some third party group for money

      I had ADT services installed in my home just six months ago. During this time, I have made multiple calls to their customer service line, which has always had about a 2-hour wait time. Once they return your call, the representative is not knowledgeable of the system and unable to assist. When you ask about a tech coming out, it's nearly a $200.00 charge. Why would a new system have a product that does not hold a charge and is constantly out of order? ADT finally agreed to send out a tech at no charge. When the tech arrived, he seemed annoyed and blamed me for putting dead batteries into their product. Why would the original batteries they installed not last more than 60-days? The tech tried intimidating me, and I told him to leave my home.Now ADT wants to send out another tech to try repairing their poor-quality product. Why, after what I have experienced in less than 6-months, would I want ADT in my home? Would you?My advice, along with others I have spoken with, is not to allow yourself to get involved with ADT and the (5-year contract); ADT hides behind this contract and tells you, as the Customer, to pound sand.
