      I have had ADT Security since May of 2022. This company Area Manager was hunting me down for 8 years. I finally decided to try the service, the deal was 59..99 with the works. During the sign up I was was told I would get a 100 gift card for doing so, never received it after countless numbers of contacting the Area Manager he would either not answer my e-mail or gave lame excuses for 5 months! Since May 2022 my door **** has not worked. I have tried charging it for a week, once I plug it back in, it works for a day then says that there is some ** error. I have called a couple of times but was frustrated after long waits. I tried going on line and it tells me that my email and password was invalid. This company customer service is absolutely horrible, the only time I did reach someone they passed me on to another department and I got lost in the black hole. I wish I never got this service, which never allowed me to have the service without problems. I have closed out my bank account so they can no longer take money from it each month. I want them to come and take their non-working equipment! And I have learned my *******

      Scammers -- promised if I kept my service (which I have had for YEARS and not used) they would drop my rate to $22.99 per month for 2 years if I did not cancel within that time period. They did not keep their word and after 6 months raised it to $45.99. I called and complained and they went back and listened to the original phone call and called me back and said that yes, that is what they promised, and they would lower me back down. One month only -- then back up. Now I called again and they said there were no account notes, and they would once again listen to the original call and credit me back months if I was correct. In the meantime, they made me another offer -- I was very upset and said just do it, and credit me after you listen to the call. They read me their disclosures, etc., and then a supervisor came on the line and said no need to listen to the original phone call because I agreed to a new offer so they would not be crediting me anything. I said listen to the call that just happened right now!! He said he was aware, but that he had "corrected" the lady ****** after she transferred me, that now there could be no credit. I said NO ONE "CORRECTED" ME and told me she was wrong before OR after I agreed to the new offer. I said I was going to pursue legal action because of all of the many hours I had spent trying to resolve this mess just because I agreed to remain a customer, so then he said that there again was no need to listen to the original call. I said WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? SCAMMERS!!

      Horrible company. As a new home owner I've been barraged with mail, door flyers and pushy door to door salesmen peddling their scam of a product. Don't fall for it! Never give them your personal information or allow them inside.

      Worst ********************** Been a customer for 15+ years and can't reach a customer account manager to cancel our contract. Only way is over the phone, they don't provide email options.

      Utterly disappointed in the ****************** service we were sold on. Within 3 months our panel touch screen stopped working - meaning we lost much of the functional features. Several ********************** alerts appeared in multiple sensors. We tried calling the main line with wait times estimated at HOURS. We used the message feature in our account to send a support ticket request, absolutely no follow up. We tried calling the ***************** rep - dead ends. Conveniently, our 6mo guarantee had "just expired" when I called again and finally got ahold of someone. It feels deliberate on their part with egregious wait times, reps w/ no knowledge, no responses to our online support requests. Nevertheless, I called AGAIN, tried their tech support line - finally connected with an agent & scheduled an appt. Told me it was $60 for a tech to come out, but of course they couldn't help with my warranty complaint and said to call the main line, Acct. Quality ***** Next day, I called determined to speak to someone. Almost 2 hours on the phone! I was transferred 4x until I finally got ahold of someone. Guess what? An Acct. Quality ***** doesn't exist. Although the rep I finally spoke to was nice, they were not trained nor capable of assisting us with the root issues above. I asked if our support ticket request sent IN WRITING was on record to prove we reached out within the warranty timeframe - of course he said no. Also, the tech appt. went from $60 to $120. Instead of making this right, he wanted to upsell me on a new warranty & had to transfer me to Sales (an 85min wait). He cancelled our tech appt. so we could buy the new ************** to 'reduce service fees' and speak to Sales about replacing gear. We were told we'd receive a call back so we didn't have to wait 85min. Of course they never called. We regret this purchase. They prey off of your fear & give you a false sense of credibility. Faulty gear, empty promises, horrific service. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

      I need to cancel my service after 5 years. I have called 5 different times across the past 2 weeks. Each time you have to be routed through different options only to be told the wait time is *****+ minutes. I have tried to cancel through chat and other lines. Each time you get sent back to the call line. They intentionally make it impossible to close or cancel your account. No one has 80 minutes to wait around. We have jobs and work too. It should be illegal to make it impossible to cancel a service.

      I've been with ADT for 12 years and the service I've received from them regarding a bad sensor on my door has been abysmal!! I purchased a replacement sensor through an automated process one of their agents put me through and was told I needed to sign a DocuServ email to release the sensor for mailing. I read the email and it included a provision to increase my bill by $0.42 a month. I informed the ADT agent that I'm not agreeing to a bill increase and if they remove that provision, I'd review the document and consider signing it. I never got a follow-up email with that revision and I've spoken with, texted with and emailed the agent who started the process and now 10 days out and better the matter is still not resolved. I've called repeatedly and I keep getting off-************ who refuse to put a supervisor on the line and they state someone will call me back and they never do. My home and my personal safety are at risk should anyone enter my home through my back door where the sensor is faulty. After ******************************************************************* and I still haven't received my sensor. I began this process on 11/25/22 it is 12/7/22 and the matter is not resolved. I'm disgusted and disappointed by this entire matter. I want my sensor and a formal apology and now after all this rigamarole the least they could do is come out and install a new one at no cost to me. 12 years of business and they've just simply ignored all my calls which is why I've had to escalate this matter yet again since they won't do anything internally.       Horrible service! I want a refund plus all my expenses of having to pay for other agencies to help me when ADT failed in so many areas. I was lied to, spent hours on the phone and technicians cancelled on me 3 times. Was completely stressed out and had to have law enforcement help. All ADT did was excessively bill me, pass my calls around for months and laughed on the recorded lines.I paid extra for CO2 calls, therapy and had to physically stay safe paying for overnight stays! My insurance company never ***************** of installation and all I got was $18 refund. ADT literally made me bankrupt and a target for crime in my area by not protecting me like they said on day one. A huge company like ADT really doesnt care about single white woman living alone on limited retirement income with ****. All my anxiety, depression and stress was increased and Ill never be the same again nor will I trusttoday is a very sad day

      I had ADT install A security system over a year ago. Nothing was mentioned that I was on a three year contract. Right after the system was installed there were problems. I called numerous times and was told I would have to pay for them to come fix what they did wrong. Three major problems that was due to their installation. I have been paying for 15 months. They refuse to come out and fix what they did wrong. 59 dollars service fee. Then they said my plan did not cover repairs. 114 dollars the first 30 minutes then 30 dollars per 15 minutes after that so one hour would be 180 plus the service charge. They do not quote how long it would take. I ask them why am I payment by them Every Month for this system I found out it will cost **** dollars to cancel. I was not informed that it was a three year plan and that the plan would not cover installation problems. I had several security systems and they were good. This was terrible. I need them to fix the problems they did and I need money back for paying for a system that was improperly installed
