      A horrible ** NEVER ever use this **mpany! Just spent $5,000 in *********** for 4 cameras plus security system 2 of the 4 cameras now dont work they shudda never been installed & ** doesnt want to refund me anything by biz with them is over after this 1 yr term is over!

      Customer Service is the absolute worst. Anytime there is an issue your on eternal hold, staff is unaware of account details, updates and transfer you to numerous departments. Managers promise to call back and never do. I've had issues where company will charge more than what is owed on bill. By far the worst Customer Service ever.

      ADT has converted online/app chat to an AI who insisted my account info I provide is wrong, so wont help me. So I call the call number number, manned by an AI who also insists my account info is incorrect, so wont help me. And why was I trying to reach someone? Account info that I have updated weeks ago in their app and verified on their website still seem to not actually updated internationally (email address, mobile telephone number). They are not willing to to provide an email address for times like this and have no feedback mechanism in their app or website. Im stuck. Until I stop paying, I guess.

      I have had ADT for all of 2 years and it has been a mess since May of this year. My panel stopped communicating with the wifi and celluar tower and a call was placed to troubleshoot the issue. We were informed that a tech would call us back later that evening to go over whatever findings. No one ever called. So I called the next morning to figure out the next steps. All was i informed was the panel needed to be looked at and someone would come out. I informed them that it would need to be before the end of the week as I was leaving for vacation. We got on schedule but it was for the week I was out of town. Luckily my MIL was house sitting so she was able to do it. Got a call that we had to be rescheduled due to not tech staffing. Got scheduled for when I was back home. Tech came out and literally did the same test we did over the phone and then informed us that ADT knew this was issue and usually it never is corrected. Spoke with a account manager and while trying to get this rectified she begins to upsell me for more products instead of fixing the current issue at hand. The same panel she attempted to upsell me is the panel I already have installed. Requested to be let go from my contract since the contract had been breeched because services had not been provided for now a month. Was told by Franky that a tech would come out with a new panel and our bill would be lowered for the issues. Tech called that Saturday asking if the new panel had arrived to my home. I was never informed that the panel would be coming to my home by Franky. In fact he stated that the **** would have it when coming out to replace it. They never have anyone available after 5pm so me and my husband had to miss work to handle this. Our system is still not working and this now month 3 that I have paid for services that are no longer working. And I'm being told that there is a fee to cancel my contract. ADT breeched the contract not I. ************ has fallen to filth and I would not reccomend.

      Ive only had this system for one month and half, already having lots of issues. First they put you in a 5 year contract to pay for the equipment, you owe them whether or not it works!! My doorbell camera was not working, I called them and a technician was supposed to come. He never showed up but ADT charged my account $180 on the 8th. This was the second payment since installation. On the 12th they took another payment of $89. This is the third payment in a month and half. Im still fighting to get my money back today!! I still havent had this equipment for 2 months and theyre telling me regardless I still have to pay for it!! I still have yet to see a technician!!! Please do not buy from this company!! Youve been warned!!

      I have been a loyal customer for over a decade (13 years) with ADT. Four months ago we had to switch over to fiber optic because of the neighborhood we lived in. My husband and I did not receive any kind of communication from ADT about our system not working with our new fiber optic which we didn't think we needed to call ADT to tell them we switched since we have been with the company for over 13 years. They should have called us or contacted a number on our emergency contact list to let us know OUR SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING! SO, for four months we were leaving our home thinking that it was protected by ADT when we left. Our home was left unprotected for four months! My husband heard a beep sound from the panel and saw a code that meant our system is not working/offline. When we called them to ask if we could get an updated system they didn't offer a discount of any kind. They also want us to pay for 10 days of unprotected security from ADT. We have already paid for the month that we were supposed to be protected and then they wanted an extra ten days of payment even after we had canceled, because we are switching over to a company that offered us window sensors with installation. ADT wanted to charge us for window sensors when new customers get them installed for free! I am outraged that my home was left unprotected for four months and they can't even waive the bill for the 10 days that they are no longer my home security! I would not ever recommend this company to anyone who wants their home to be safe. I have officially developed trust issues with these types of companies now because of this situation.

      I rented my house, cancel ADT service but communicate with ****** agreed with payment plan for 6months. still was charged $897.11 +$214.04. she's scammer, fraud, Liar!!! .I will never recommend ADT to anyone. Stay away from those CROOKS ADT. Cannot be Trusted.

      If I could leave zero stars I would. We had ADT for 20 a while ago and they were great - decided to try them again. BIG MISTAKE. Got a quote for $1500 for what I wanted. Installer said I needed sensors on ALL my windows - I said how much and he said "real cheap". Installed some other things I didn't ask for like sirens and things. When he got done installation he said the bill was $5400 - $139 month instead of $80 I was quoted for what I wanted. I asked for an accounting and was told he would email it to me. Saw two elderly people and added lots of things we didn't want or need. He showed me the first page on the panel that had everything on that page labeled. Five minutes after he left I get 2 "Low Battery" alarms - when I went to find out what was in alarm the next 5 pages were all labeled 41 shock or door items listed - so no way of knowing which ones were in alarm. They said said someone would be out here 6 days later to fix it. Short version - cancelled within my 3 days and I got a cancellation number. They said since I had the appointment to fix it, they would use that appointment to take it out. The technician came and said he couldn't tell what was alarming since there were so many "shock/door" sensors he would have to go to each one to find it and he wasn't going to do that. I said I was told you were going to take the system out and he said he was only there to repair it. Called customer service again and they said someone would be here in 3-5 days to remove it. 8 calls later and 10 days passed the story I get today - is has jumped now to 7 to 10 days to remove it and they still have my $394.94 deposit and can't tell me when someone will be here to remove it. Called the "headquarters" complaint department - don't bother - its the same people with the same results - NOTHING being done. Wish I had looked on this site before I called them.

      I would rate ADT less than 0. They pressure and coerce getting more sensors than contracted and their customer service is nonexistent. Their business model is only regarding getting more sales at any cost. I am filing a lawsuit to send them a message!
