I ordered a pair of compression socks as a promotion frombacksocksleeve.com for $6.72 on Aug 2.It then was charged $37.57 today and luckily got a fraud alert from my bank. This was NOT an authorized charge. They also said it was a monthly recurring charge...that was news to me. Who has has a recurring monthly subscription for socks? Really? These are medical socks I ordered for an older person. This is clearly a predatory process where they are preying on people they think are gullible. I called them and they sounded like offshore foreign accent, and said they could not refund...that had to be "approved by higher management". Sounds super sketchy. They need to be stopped as they are clearly targeting people with health issues and potentially elderly who may not be as tech savvy. Shame on them!!!!Customer Answer

The company did refund the money, only after I told them I had contacted them and as per
your complaint form, that I had indicated I was "willing to talk to the ************ am concerned however, that this predatory company will continue this practice, and bill unsuspecting people, for goods not ordered and "fine print" about joining their
"VIP" service...for discounts. And a reminder, this was an order for socks! There were MANY complaints about exactly the same issue I had with them online.
They are definitely not carrying out good business practices and were not going to refund my money, until I used the threat of contacting BBB.

I purchased a knee brace just cost Shiping from them now they've been charging me $37.57 every month starting in August 12th of the month. they said it was for a membership . I didn't join anything I just bought knee brace. ok want my money back. They are a scam I live on a fixed income every month. I ordered a knee sleeve from this company for $6.95 plus shipping it was received. On Sunday July 30th I got up to find 6 charges total on my checking account in the amount of $37.57 totalling over $225. I immediately called the company. ******* tried to convince me I subscribed which never happened. Nor did she believe I had 6 total charges. She told me I enrolled , I denied it, I asked for a refund, she told me management had to approve it. It's now Tuesday 8/1 no response. I write to support, they deny they charged my card even after I sent screen shots. Still no refund, same story....she told me no refund I enrolled...basically too bad. I will pursue this with a formal complaint to the **** I want all $225 refunded back to my card as it's been debited from my accountInitial Complaint

This company is a fraud. There are so many complaints already about the same scammer. They selling a knee Brace to pay only **** and then they charge again ***** when I call they said it was a subscription. So I called and they cancel the subscription that I didn't authorize. But I want my money back this company is so dishonest but I'll *** them to small claims. Or who ever I need to talk to get it back. I got a email with a picture that they said is a subscription. On July 12 I ordered compression socks and I was just supposed to pay $6.95. I was just charged and additional $37.57 that I did not authorize. I never agreed to be part of a VIP program. There is no information on the website to contact anyone to cancel. This is a very sllck scam. I found a number on another website to call and I will tomorrow. I would like to get my money back. and I would like to prevent anyone else to fall for this scam.
