On 1/10/2023 I used my credit card to pay shipping and handling fees for a pair of free socks from this web-based company: backsleeve.com. I received the socks a couple of weeks later. Today, as I am preparing to make a credit card I notice a charge dated today in the amount of $37.57. It is from the same company. I then decided to take a look back at last months charges. As I suspected, there was a charge for $37.57 on 2/02/2023. I did not authorize these charges. I have not contacted the company, yet. However, I am requesting a refund from the company, as well as, stoppage of any other charges.Initial Complaint

On 2/14/23 I saw an ad on ******** for compression socks that claimed to help with neuropathy. For **** I could get a pair of socks. Received an email from ************************* thanking me for my order and a second email with the shipping information. On 2/28/23 I was charged *****. I called the number with no answer. I sent an email, to which they replied that when I purchased socks I joined their VIP club. Now I'm attaching emails that shows the "button" to join their VIP savings which I did not do, nor did I set up an account. They replied to the email stating when I signed up it stated ***** well, I went back to the website and it says ***** at the bottom. They said they have cancelled my account but I am phoning my bank to be sure they are not able to make anymore false charges. In the email from the company they sent a screen shot with the ***** charge noted but when I went to the page it clearly says ***** for their VIP club. So they are overcharging for their scam socks. The socks they send are dollar store quality. They also claimed I received a 3rd email from ************************* which I did not receive anything but the 2 original emails. Not even an email stating what my "VIP" perks were. Total SCAM!!Initial Complaint

***** charged on **** & 2-21-2023 Back Sock Sleeve.com. In December I ordered 1 FREE pair of socks Mens Large& paid only shipping cost. I got a email confirmation from a generic person *****-no company name but I opened the email. It was an invoice for a different person with their address in a different state. I hit reply to this ***** explaining he might want to review these 2 orders & never got a response but did receive my order. The sock size was Super small & didnt fit my 87 year old Dad who weighs 125 pounds. I kept the sock & felt I learned a ******* But the I got charged the ***** twice. I called their ************ & had to leave a message. I surprisingly got a return call. The gal stated this was a subscription monthly. I asked to cancel & she wouldnt give me a cancellation # but said Accounting would respond in 1-5 days-nothing else was discussed. I got the email stating they wouldnt credit me cuz ***** sent several emails reminding about subscription. Amazingly after the 1st email; all other emails from ***** went to my Junk Folder! I called today & spoke to ***** stating I didnt get any socks in *************** ***** said when you talked to us we told you that its a VIP subscription to give you 50% off ALL orders! I said that was not CLEAR & visible on website & negative to charge a monthly fee & not send a product. I explained this was NEVER discussed on the 1st call so their records are wrong. Then ******************* up on me! Is there any way that you can get me back any portion of these 2 charges if *****? If not, big ****** learned!! ThanksInitial Complaint

I purchased a pair of socks that were advertised for shipping and handling only for $6.95. I did receive the socks and they are fine. But they have charged me $37.57 both in the month of January and February totaling $75.14. That I did not approve of or sign up for. On February 21, 2023 this company BACKSOCKSLEEVE went into my account with our authorization to attempt to charge my account $37.57. I have not authorized any such purchase for them to try to charge my account. I did apply to receive a free knee brace according to a free promo commercial on February 8, 2023 by paying only for shipping of $6.95. There was no such agreement as to purchase the item in no such way. It stated on the email order receipt free of charge for the knee brace. It did not mention I had to cancel by a certain date or my account will be charged. I did not AGREE TO HAVE MY ACCOUNT CHARGED FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN SHIPPING. PLEASE HELP ME STOP THEM FROM TRYING TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT AGAIN AS I'M ON DISABILITY INCOME AND CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE THAT AMOUNT WITHDRAWN FROM MY ACCOUNT.SINCERLY, *******************************Customer Answer

2-17-2023 compression socks said they are free just pay for shipping and it said nothing about any other charges they took out ***** out of my account.
