Boost told me to call in June to have my phone unlock. Since then, they are stating that they cannot unlock my phone because they are not able to access closed accounts since DISH merge with them in June. They also stated they could not transfer me to a manager because I closed my account. I called DISH to see if they could help access my files and was told that Boost is they only company that has access to those files and they should be able to unlock the phone. Boost also advised me to call Apple. I called Apple while on the phone with Boost. Apple stated that it is Boost responsibility to remove the lock. Per their website, it states that the phone is to be unlocked 12 months after the initial activation date. I need my phone unlocked ASAP.

The Boost Mobile on ******************, ******, ** near the ******* down from the **************************************** faulty telephone and refuse to replace or refund. You will be stuck with a non working telephone and poor service. The owner was very rule and nasty.Customer Service was very incompetent and failed to recognize that their service and telephone were poor quality. In my opinion, Boost Mobile is a SCAM.

There have been a few little glitches in the course of the last 10 years. Recently however I have had my account suspended. A text message came to tell me that my funds have been received because I am on the auto pay system so I should not have to worry about it. 9 minutes later another text message came to say my account had been suspended. The only number I'm allowed to call is there toll free number and the automated machine tells you that it sees that your account has been suspended and tells you to make a payment but if you press zero of 50 times followed by the pound sign you can actually get a human. So far I have attempted four times to get this resolved and was given a ticket number and told that they would escalate this problem and they see that yes they had received the funds and the technical department has to fix this issue. Well this all happened late Friday into Saturday morning and now it is Sunday afternoon and just had another call into their service representative who cannot give me any idea of when this problem will be resolved. I'm on the Wi-Fi at home and looked up T-Mobile and was able to actually call T-Mobile so I guess I will be switching carriers soon.

When I called Boost Infinite, I was told service is postpaid, so they bill at the end of the month. They signed me up, but were unable to use my unlocked Chime card. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as they ended up bricking my phone. Even with the app on my device, they just couldn't figure out how to push an eSIM over WiFi. I waited for a tier 2 agent to call me the following day, and he couldn't figure it out. He started to tell me that it was a known issue, and he was going to escalate to the IT department, with no ETA on when I might have service. I cut him off, and said that's wishy-washy. Pushing an eSIM over WiFi to an unlocked device with the app installed is the cornerstone of an activation agent's job. If it has to go to the engineers, then they should finish their degrees before going into business. After this, I chatted with Visible, and the first agent I got was able to unbrick my phone with no problem. I called Boost Infinite back, and was told that service ended as soon as my number was ported out, and I wouldn't get billed. Now, Boost Infinite has started trying to bill my locked Wise card every day for the past week. I called again, and spoke to a woman who sounded like she was in her 60s, and had worked in a post office her entire adult life. She told me that service is prepaid, and not prorated. I said that's not what they told me when I signed up, and I hadn't even gotten a day's worth of service to boot. I never got one minute of voice calling, one text, or one megabyte of data the whole time I was with them, and they think they can bill me $25 for nothing? Casinos may be able to do that, but not cellular carriers. Now, I have to pay $5 for a replacement card from Wise, in case Boost Infinite tries to steal my money while the card is briefly unlocked. Supposedly there are people who have working service with this company. But if they fail to figure out your phone, they think you owe them a $25 participation prize for trying.

Horrible customer service. My SIM card only worked for approximately 6 months before being useless. I went through several different customer service representatives, over the course of weeks, and after dozens of phone calls I finally connected with someone who could help me. Not worth it.
