      I was logged out of my yahoo mail account and my password to get back in wasnt accepted. No worries, I thought. I tried the forgot password approach, had a code sent to my recovery telephone number, I typed in the code and was redirected to a page that asked me to call a telephone number so they could charge me. Its impossible to recover or change a password for free, even if you have the recovery email and phone number. Ludicrous.

      Not entirely correct. The codes were received for both my recovery telephone number and recovery email, but after entering them I was directed to a page that had two options: 1) call premium customer service or 2) return to the help page. The individual who contacted me, ****, was able to set me up with a temporary password so I could regain access to my account. I never had a problem receiving the codes.

      Way too many ads make it impossible to read the website. I had to change it from my home**** because it would take at least a minute to load the next **** I'd try to go to. And you have to pay for customer service (I can't think of another business that does that)

      I have used yahoo mail logged on to my phone fine for a long time until recently it logged me out. I no longer have the recovery phone number. Like others leaving reviews here I do not want to pay a premium service for MAYBE getting my account back.

      I have had 2 yahoo mail accounts for over *****. As of 5/30/2025 I no longer have access to one of the account. I checked and deleted mail from the account on a daily basis. Now I have no access to it and yahoo is trying to extort money from me to regain access to my account. I have multiple accounts linked to send me information to this email account. The ** help is worthless and just continues to prompt me to the phone number to pay for assistance! I feel like I am being blackmailed to access my own account!

      Yahoo Fantasy Baseball would not take care of a problem with a *************** we are in when the ************* would not respond to start the League and I wanted to be named the League Manager to get the League started. Below is my transcript with ************* (5/28/2025, 4:28:31 PM): Welcome to Yahoo Support. My name is ****. I'd like to let you know, if we do not hear back from you within 3 minutes, the chat will disconnect. Can you please confirm your Yahoo email address and league number you need assistance with? Me (5/28/2025, 4:29:12 PM): I am **** ***** League Manager of The ************************** (ID# ******. I would like to take over as LM since our LM is inactive. **** (5/28/2025, 4:29:47 PM): Hello, ****. Unfortunately, only the commissioner can transfer commissioner status to another manager. Me (5/28/2025, 4:31:26 PM): We have tried to get in touch with the League Manager, *********** Manager but he will NOT respond. What do we do. He won't transfer to another LM since he won't even respond. You should make an exception in this case. **** (5/28/2025, 4:32:01 PM): I understand. However, we're unable to make exceptions to this. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Me (5/28/2025, 4:32:35 PM): Then how can we continue with this League if Yahoo Fantasy will not help us? **** (5/28/2025, 4:33:46 PM): Unfortunately, you will just need to continue to get in touch with the commissioner. You can try via the league chat or by going to the Manager list and send them an email to the email listed there.       Yahoo is discriminating against my right to free speech. Often times I will comment on articles and ever since I made a derogatory (NOT CRUDE OR IGNORANT) about DJT ALL of my comments have been rejected. They are absolutely biased to DJT and are deleting ANY comment I make stating it is against "Community Guidelines". It's ridiculous and I have told them they will be reported to the ****, *** and put on social media their prejudices against me.

      This is the worse company I have ever dealt with in my life. First of all, they offer paid support, which would be fine it if wasn't a terrible call center from *****. After you pay to call this support, you will be asked about your information, and if you have access to your recovery method. Which I clearly don't! That is why I am contacting you. I know all the passwords, I know the security questions, I know the devices my email has been logged into, I know the city, states it has been accessed in, I know all the old passwords plus the current password, but since I lost my phone, I guess I am just incapable of ever accessing my yahoo email again even though I never have approved 2-way authentication on this email. After you go through the same conversation with the support team for the millionth time, they will ask you for your state license to upload in order to verify it's your email, since you don't have access to the recovery number. Which the company has two major data breaches in its history, so I don't even feel comfortable doing that, but I finally gave in, and sent over my state ID and it still didn't work.

      I wish there was an option for leaving zero stars. I recently got a new phone which logged me out of my email. Oddly, Yahoo was the only one that was logged out completely. I forgot the password for my email and went through the steps to recover it. After answering a security question, I get sent back to the screen asking my to try signing in again. I called to see if there was a problem and they told me they couldnt answer that unless I paid for the service. That is absolutely wild. I even tried typing in fake answers to see if my previous ones were wrong. Yahoo said they were incorrect so I typed in my correct passwords again and sure enough, I was sent back to the screen asking me to try signing in again. Extremely upsetting experience

      Do not use them. If you lose access to your email account and the phone number for recovery is outdated, you aren't going to receive any help. Other sites let you use a recovery email or phone number, nope, not this company. AND customer service is a joke, why have customer service if it isn't going to help everyone. You have to pay! This is really sad because I've had this email since 07 and never thought of deleting it. Thanks for the help and kicking me out, Yahoo!

      Completely deleted my entire email inbox of 10+ years of emails! Customer support told me I had to sign up for the paid membership plan to get tech support. Absolutely not, what a scam!! I was given a one time pass to get 7 days of my emails back. Scam!!!
