This company has locked me out of my email and given me no options to recovery my email account. A few weeks ago I noticed I was no longer receiving any new emails from yahoo mail. When I attempted to recover my account and reset my password, it gave me otions to reset my password by sending me a 6 digit recovery code. Unfortunately I've have my yahoo email account so long that my phone number was never added to the account for recovery and the second email for recocery was with a company called college ******** which no longer exist. Once I was prompted to call a 1800 number to pay for customer service/help after adding my debit/credit card for a monthly subscription just to get help resetting my passwrod to recover my account. The 1800 number gave me a robot asking for a 6 digit pin from the web page I was on for ********************** help, the robot kept rejecting the pin and disconnecting the call. I was even willing to pay the fee but I never got through to a live person. I filing tghis complaint becasue i am a 69 year old who has had their email with yahoo since the 90's and there are emails from passed away loved ones that I can never replace. This company has got to do better with their options for people struggling with their system like me.Business Response

I have been unable to access my Yahoo Mail account (email: ************************************ because I forgot my password and no longer have access to my recovery phone/email. I attempted to use the automated account recovery tool without success. I also discovered that Yahoo Plus Support is not available in ******, leaving me with no way to verify my identity or recover my account. My yahoo email *********************************** has been inaccessible for over a year. I have it logged in on only one device, my macbook, and I am unable to add my email to any other devices, due to ********************** asking to proceed with 2 factor authentication. However, the recovery email I added was added a long time ago, and that email no longer exists ******************* I contacted Sprint, and the email is archived. Therefore, I have no way of getting into my account because the recovery email is not valid. Yahoo only offers PAID customer service for me to change the recovery email, however this service is not even useable for Canadians.Business Response

Hello!I have a yahoo email account that I have used for 10+ years. I was randomly kicked out of my email and when I tried to sign in- my password was not what I had it as. I tried to use the back up options and I could confirm my phone number. However, my recovery email is an address that I no longer have any access to and believe to be deleted/locked. They want me to pay to get back into the account despite me being able to authenticate it and they will not let me back in to my account which has personal information within it (ie bank account information, property management information, health care information, etc.) They are claiming they cant let me into my account despite me being able to approve the account is mine.Business Response

I tried resetting it via phone and then its also asking to send a code to my email which I clearly have no access ***** i cannot access it and its asking me to pay for the acess with a live agent and give my license information.
