As of two days ago, I found myself I locked out of my yahoo email out of nowhere. I have had this email for decades. I have everything saved on my phone so it automatically logs me in to get my mail. I was asked to put in a password and tried every configuration I could think of, since I never enter it, I couldnt recall the right one it seems. I tried to recover it reset my password. Went through all the step up to being forced to use a recovery email linked to a job I recently left. Again, since I dont log in and out since its on my phone I hadnt thought to update that piece. Their website keeps telling me I have to pay to get back in my email. This email account is connected to everything in my life. They are holding my data hostage. This is despicable, and perhaps intentional. I did not log myself out.Business Response

I am having an extremely difficult time trying to log in back in to my yahoo account. The number on file is a number I dont have anymore. The number from customer support listed on their website is automated and when trying to get in touch with anyone it hangs up. There is no other option for me to be able to reset my password.Business Response

I have had a yahoo email account for over 15 years. I was forced to log back in and know my password, however a verification code was sent to an email address that has been deleted and I no longer have access to. When going through yahoo help and support, the only help the will provide is if you pay money. I know my login information to my yahoo email address and it is astonishing that yahoo would make it impossible to login without paying a fee. I have sent an email and tried to chat with no help provided.Business Response

I have had my yahoo account for probably 10 years recently. I have always had my email logged in on the Apple Mail app, so I have never needed to log into a web browser to use yahoo. every time I have tried to do this on the web browser. Im hit with an error that they need to send a code to aphone number. I no longer have access to. because of this, I cannot reset my password or login online. I recently got an email saying that I ran out of storage and needed to upgrade my storage or delete emails. I cannot do this because the Apple Mail app. It only lets you delete emails, but not off of the Yahoo server therefore my mailbox is still full and I cantget onto the website to delete it. I have tried contacting yahoo support several times they will not approve my verification because my last name has now changed since I made the account considering I got married.I have tried multiple times. I have provided everything I could still provide absolutely everything that they need. I could provide marriage license a passport withthe name that I made the account with everything but nothing will work. I have no access to my email in my entire livelihood depends on email, including veteran benefits.Business Response

My account was hacked, and apparently Yahoo allows other people to gain access with no prior verification, and to top it off, I have to PAY them to reset my password. All of my personal information is stored in that account and ********************** condones this type of behavior... I don't understand how it's possible to get access to someone's email, change all the contact information, and now all of a sudden I can't get verified because Yahoo can't figure out that my date of birth was correct when I created the account. 3 years of personal information down the drain. I need a resolution!!!! If not, close the email account, stop giving fraudsters all the tools necessary to gain access to sensitive information. ************** if you didn't know, ANYONE can generate a "Security Code" from Yahoo and gain access to your email unless you pay for their service. ******, total scam of a company. I should have gone to other mail providers in the first place. Yahoo is overdue for retirement, throw the whole company away.Business Response

I randomly got signed out of my Yahoo account connected to my iPhone and I tried to go on yahoos website to get help but the that they have on file are my old numbers and I dont have access to those numbers no more so it keeps sending a code to my old number so I can reset my password and I dont use that number no more that is Connected to my yahoo accountBusiness Response

My yahoo email wont let me log in I have the user name and password but its trying to send a verification code to a old phone number on my email file I dont have access to that number any more I need to recover my email and have access to it please help .
