I pay $57.24 a month to have my garbage picked up once a week on Friday. Regularly it is not picked up. Last Friday they did not pick up, I didn't say anything because I was out of town. When I returned, I noticed my can was still full. This week on Friday, they again did not pick up the trash. When I called CR&R, she texted the driver and her told her that the can was "too heavy". It is only filled with household trash, by this point two weeks' worth. The customer service lady assured me that the driver would be back to pick up the can, this was at 10:15am. I checked back at 3:30pm, and the driver had not come back, I called CR&R and she could not get hold of the driver. She told me she would call her manager and get back to me. I did not hear back. I called again at 4:25, before they closed and no one answered the phone. I now have paid for service, have a huge amount of unsanitary trash piling up, and have wasted a day dealing with this. This happens often, this is just the first time I'm filing a complaint. I have paid for so much service that I have not been receiving.Business Response

Upon review of the customer's account, CR&R will exchange the customer's 300 gallon trash tub to a 3 yard trash bin this week. CR&R will utilize a different truck to provide service to the 3 yard trash bin, which will reduce the likelihood of an overweight container. Additionally, CR&R will issue a credit of $13.21 for two weeks of no service (11/10/23 and 11/17/23), and the credit will reflect on the customer's next billing statement. CR&R thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

11/10/23: Called ************** to schedule large item pick up. Spoke with representative ********* (she declined to give last name). Requested that a larger item pick up be scheduled. She shared that this would require 1-3 month wait. Shared that this seemed unreasonably long as this was a service that we pay more monthly. Requested that we speak to manager. This customer called CR&R on Friday 11/10/23 to request a bulky item pickup. At the time of scheduling, the first available date to fulfill the request was on Thursday 12/7/23. CR&R schedules orders on a first-come-first-serve basis. Due to the large volume of requests received each day, availability may not always be immediate. Upon review of the customer's account, the bulky item pickup was expedited to Thursday 11/16/23 upon approval. CC& R is a trash company I have used since 2006. A few years ago the truck hit my custom bricks and repaired them . Yet this year the driver hit my bricks at corner when picking up neighbors trash . After over 3 calls to company. and no response from supervisor as promised. They have ignored my request and raised my bill. They have records of this complaint and damage to my property and refuse to respond or correct this matter. This company also was involved in a massive fire that burned down homes in ******** and lives were lost. I believe they are hiring unsafe employees driving trash trucks and avoid damages they cause. They are a trash company and the trash bins do not have a lid and I have been calling them since Sept 2023 to remove the trash bins that do not have a lid- these open trash bins are causing a major rat and rodent problem for the area and every time they say the will come Friday and THEY DO NOT. I have asked them to replace the trash bins, all the people in the area are UPSET about these OPEN TRASH bins and they keep ignoring it. I had to pay 500 to rodent problem, this last Friday they DID NOT PUT ANY NEW TRASH BINS RATHER THEY DROPPED 3 GREEN BINS- I am REALLY UPSET about the environmental impact and them not doing their job. I PAY THEM FOR GOOD BINS but I have 3 BROKEN BINS that attract500 rats. CR&R has reviewed the images provided by the customer and has determined almost all of the carts are in good working condition and not damaged. The trash cart with serial number ******* does appear to have a missing lid. CR&R attempted to exchange the customer's carts on Friday 11/3/23 and Friday 11/10/23 but the driver was not able to locate the carts for replacement. CR&R has made attempts to contact the customer regarding this but has not yet received a response. CR&R encourages this customer to contact CR&R customer service to reschedule the exchange, and thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

That is a LIE- they can find the trash bins EXACTLY where they pick up the ****** These people have not come to pick up the BAD BROKEN BINS- So why cant they find the stupid bins exactly where they get the trash- It is in the BACK of the building- we are disgusted that they are unable to locate the bins- but they pick up the trash- IS THAT A JOKE? The must be BLIND when they come to drop off the bins- since they have been getting the ***** FROM THE EXACT LOCATION.
CAN THESE **** PEOPLE GET THE MESSAGE- THE ***** BINS THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED ARE IN THE EXACT PLACE THE ***** IS- HAVE THESE PEOPLE CALL *********** for ED or 949 363 3825 The trash bins are in the BACK OF THE PROPERTY_ TELL THE **** DRIVERS TO GET OFF THEIR A** AND GO TO THE BACK- or talk to the folks that pick up trash as to how to find the 10 bins!

CR&R reached out to the customer on Monday 11/20/23. The customer confirmed only three trash carts had damaged lids, and there were two extra recycle carts and three extra organic carts on the property. CR&R rescheduled the order for Tuesday 11/21/23 with specific notes on the location of the carts, but the order could not be completed. CR&R has filed a formal complaint on behalf of the customer to investigate this matter, and rescheduled the order again for Friday 11/24/23. The customer was made aware the carts must be out on the curbside for the order to be completed. CR&R **************** will continue to follow up with the customer to confirm work order completion, and thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

Local trash service Stopped picking up my residential trash cans. **************** said they got new trucks that are not capable of lifting the 300gal residential can but they did not offer an alternative and just left the cans full on my property. Now I have canceled they will not pick up cans and stopped answering my calls all together. My household has not received garbage collection service for the past three weeks. Our trash bin has now been full for three weeks. I have called CR&R at least 15 times, and each time they promise over the phone to send a driver to empty our trash bin, but they never show up. This customer contacted CR&R on Monday 9/25/23 stating their trash bin has not been receiving service. It was confirmed by CR&R's Operations team that the driver would provide service on their next scheduled service day on Wednesday 9/27 and pick up any excess trash. Upon review, CR&R acknowledges that service was not provided on Wednesday 9/6 and 9/13 due to operational challenges. As such, a credit of $38.43 will be applied to the customer's account and will be reflected on the November statement. CR&R thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

Good day, I'm typing as a resident and board member of the *********** Mini-Mansions. We are a small PUD made up of 24 units built in ****; we are an over 55+ community. We have paid for and maintained a good relationship with CR&R Environmental Services. Who pick up our garbage, recycling, and green waste. For about 30 years we have paid on time, and never had much of an issue with their services until now. Recently they have begun to miss scheduled pickups, missing one out of two pickups a week. Thus far it's becoming a bad habit that they miss garbage pickup for our 24 home owners. Over the last 30 days they have missed four pickups. 8/21/23, 8/24/23, 9/1/23, & 9/21/23. Keep in mind this is a garbage pickup of large truck sized bins which we rent from CR&R Environmental Services. If they don't come to take the garbage away, we have no way of removing it ourselves. Nor should we have too as paying customers. We pay over $400+ a month for garbage pickup by the way. We have reached out to CR&R Environmental Services, who have told us to call by 3pm each time they miss a pick up. However, they don't pick up till after 4 or 5PM so we have no way of knowing they will miss the day or not until the day has passed. Why is it our job to monitor CR&R Environmental Services employees? Shouldn't they be doing that? To add insult to injury they have told us if we miss the 3PM call on a missed pick up, not only will they not reschedule a missed pick up. They won't re-inverse us for the cost of that weeks missed pick up. This does not make sense to us, as we are paying customers and have been for 30 years.When you are 55+ in our golden years do you want to watch garbage bins all day? We don't.Not if we pay to have that service taken care of.So why is it not being taken care of? Also why are we being forced to pay for services we are not receiving in full?Initial Complaint

CR&R sent me to collections for $118 charge that I don't owe. Company policy is to not send out a new trash container until the account is paid in full. I purchased several containers from CR&R for a job I was doing at my house in canyon lake. Once the job was complete and everything was paid in full CR&R came back saying i owed them $118 for extra weight on one of the first container they sent out. I explained to the representative that each container was paid in full before the next one was sent out per company policy. Till this day they can't explain what container this money is owed for, and why they would send out a new containers against company policy with a balanced owed on the previous one. They just state that I just owe them money. Account #******** I feel it's wrong that a company can send you to collections and ruin your credit based on there word. I spoke to ***** today and she said they would look into it with management, Called me back after an hour and said I owe it because it was the last bill sent out.
