      This trash company charges for a weekly service when they miss the service they will only give you half credit for what you have paid for the service

      In accordance to BBB policy, CR&R is responding to this complaint:

      CR&R offers the service for a driver to return and empty a customer's container as remediation for missed or incomplete service. Customers are encouraged to contact CR&R with this information to ensure these requests are properly received and submitted to the driver for completion. If instead the customer requests a credit and it is approved upon review, CR&R will only credit the service component fee, which is 50% of the cost per pickup. The other 50% is not creditable as those fees are mandatory to cover the cost of transportation, labor, landfill expenses, and other miscellaneous fees. Additionally, the CR&R driver will typically return on the next service day to empty the container as scheduled, which effectively removes any waste from the prior week. This customer was issued a service component credit for missed service on 6/21/23. CR&R thanks this customer for their patronage and understanding.

      Hello, my trash wasnt picked up. My initial trash date was 9/12/2023. I called CR&R and has informed them they missed my 3 trash cans. They assured me that they will come back no later then 6pm same day and they were no show. I called the following morning 9/13/2023 at 8am. Again they assured me they will come pick up my trash. Again no show. Trash has smelly food and aggota could be forming ,as well disturbing the neighbors. I have associatiation which has complained already. This isn't the first time this has happened. Please help ! Thank you!

      This customer contacted CR&R on several occasions stating her trash cart was not serviced. Upon review with the operations manager, it was confirmed that CR&R returned for service today, Friday 9/15/23. The route manager spoke with the customer directly about this issue. This account will be monitored closely to ensure service is completed as scheduled each week. CR&R thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

      I placed an order for a 40 Yd container to be delivered on Monday 8/28 then I requested and exhange on 8/30 and final removal on 9/1.On 8/30 driver did not remove container at our regular business hour. Next day 8/31 I noticed that the container still here and it was no removed. I contact customer service and at first they were not able to tell me what happen. Finally I was told that the driver decided not to remove it because he did not think it was full enough. I requested a manager call and still waiting. I sent and email and got an answer that someone will be contacting me, result I am still waiting. I am allowed 6 Tn for free and the other 2 tn at an upcharge. First I do not understand why the driver decide by himself or contact us to remove the container.Now I get the new bill and ****** is charging me $111.61 Roll of return trip charge because of the driver deciding not to remove it. I contact them by phone on 9/8 at 7:30 AM and I was told that a manager will get back to me., now the day got by and how strange I am still waiting.

      In the event a ************************************************* nearly empty, it may be up to the driver's discretion to determine whether or not the bin should be hauled away or kept on site. Upon review of this matter, it was determined the customer will be credited $111.61 to offset the cost of the trip fee on Wednesday 8/30/23. This credit will reflect on the October statement. A CR&R representative attempted to contact the customer on Friday 9/8/23, but was unable to reach them. CR&R thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

      CR&R has a history of inferior service. We pay for 3 days per week garbage pick-up and so far it's been 5 days since our last service. Monday was a holiday and the schedule pushes it back to Tuesday, but they did not service us on Tuesday. I called and was told they had until 6 PM to pick-up, but they never did. On Wednesday I called FOUR (4) times and was told they would pick up our trash by 5 PM, but they never came. This is not the 1st time for this as the same thing happened after the 4th of July this year. All the driver needs to do is enter that the account was serviced, and they assume it was. The garbage stinks, causes pestilence, attracts vermin, and wild animals, and is unsightly. I believe they are not only violating our civil rights, but are criminally negligent for leaving over 500 people in squalor and filth.This is unacceptable!!!

      Continued and chronic no pick up of trash from my address and neighbors in my vicinity. Many, many complaints have been made and elevated to management with no resolution. Empty promises made as well as excuses again with no resolution yet continued increases in service charges. Trash bins become full and nowhere for us to put our trash and therefore becoming a health hazard. Something needs to be done with this company. Fines should be assessed for chronic occurrences of no pick up. Please review historical consumer reviews on CR&R. They refuse to correct consumer complaint issues.

      The most recently scheduled service for this customer was Friday 8/25/23. Due to challenging and inclement weather the weekend prior, CR&R experienced service delays for many routes in the Oak Hills/********** area. The local ********************* confirmed this customer was serviced on Saturday 8/26/23. CR&R is in receipt of the customer's concerns and has forwarded this matter to the Operations manager for review. Drivers have been instructed to monitor this account closely and will report back any issues encountered during service. CR&R thanks this customer for their patience and understanding.

      This has been an ongoing issue with CR&R for several years. The inclement weather was the weekend prior. Why does this company not send communication via text or phone message to advise their customers who are being affected? Why has this issue been going on for years? It is not just this one incident. Has anyone from CR&R looked at their customer reviews of the ongoing issues? Stop raising rates until you can provide quality service. I do not accept their response and won't until the mis-management stops and quality services begins and is maintained.

      Upon review with the Operations manager and three different drivers, it has been reported that the customer's carts are often not placed out for service when the driver arrives. CR&R drivers are in this area on Fridays between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. If carts are not accessible between the scheduled service hours, service cannot be provided. CR&R would like to restate that this customer is being monitored closely, and drivers have been instructed to confirm service each week and report back any issues encountered during service. CR&R thanks this customer for their understanding.

      I cannot believe now this company responds by saying my carts are not placed at the curb. This speaks to the integrity and honor of the management/individual who is addressing this complaint. Every call I have made to this company over the course of these past few years of poor service are in fact after my cans have been out since 5:30 a.m. which is the time I leave for work. There was one occurrence during the last two years that my bins were not placed at the curb because we were on vacation and hence no call of complaint was made. If your drivers are reporting that my cans are not at the curb it is for the sole reason to justify them in not picking them up. So falsifying information is your next tactic. This is is an issue with this company and is reflective in the customer complaints that run rampid in reviews left by their long standing customers. It's quite interesting that after being a customer for 27 years all of a sudden I don't put my cans out?? Yet the reviews on this company and long list of customer complaints for this same issue began over these past few years and have multiplied at a rapid pace. So this is now your response and you will put the blame on the customer. Professionalism at its best. Yes you continue to "monitor" the situation as will I.

      This customer has contacted CR&R a few times in the beginning of August, and again today (Friday 8/25/23) to report missed service on their trash and organic carts. CR&R **************** scheduled a return service for Monday 8/28/23 to empty both two carts. A formal complaint was filed on behalf of the customer and forwarded to the ********************** CR&R drivers have not reported any issues with service, however, special notes have been provided for the trash and organic drivers to monitor the account closely and ensure service is being provided as scheduled.       Im a disabled walk in customer (drivers r to roll cans out dump & return to backyard) in ***** for 20yrs. No complaints til last 5-7yrs where I cant get thru 90 days without incident. The only people who use the gate r their drivers, but *** had to replace the latch twice & the whole gate once as they dont close it they swing it til it bounces shut. A Drivers Sup came to my home when the probs 1st began & was going to repair it himself but ended up going on disability; ******** was my contact who helped make sure courtesy p/us actually happened, both pre-covid.Service got really bad during covid, cans were missed repeatedly but also into the current period.About a yr ago a CSR could see I had 5-7 missed trash p/us that had pending credits (they didnt offer credits prior to covid) but they were never issued; instead I got credited for 2 missed recycling p/us?I spoke to 2 male Sups a couple yrs ago but service didnt improve.7/6/23, 1 driver took green waste can to curb as courtesy for other driver but even tho Ive been a walk in customer here ****************************************************** 55+ HOA with Rule cans must be behind gate by 6pm day of trash p/u, sat there til my caretaker returned the 11th. I told ** unacceptable. Next week same, green can on curb AGAIN, taped note saying:Please Return Can To Backyard But he didnt! I again called the **. The next week nobody wheeled the green waste (or any other can out) & the driver didnt service it all! Called them again Mon they said a courtesy p/u would come Tue but it didnt?! Called Wed & said it must be serviced the next day, my normal day no matter what but of course it wasnt! Called last Mon for courtesy p/u for Tue & asked *** ******** to call & explain why no reg/courtesy p/u for 2 wks straight after calling 6 times in the last 4 wks & to give me names & contact info of Sups for me to complain to that can cause actual change but its ************* happened. Ask re credits ea call!

      This customer has contacted CR&R **************** on several occasions in the month of August 2023 with concerns regarding her walk-in service. CR&R **************** has filed a formal complaint on behalf of the customer and escalated this matter to the Operations team. As of Tuesday 8/22/23, two operations managers attempted to reach the customer but were both unsuccessful. However, voicemails were left for the customer.       Since July 24, 2023, three weeks ago. I had two trashcan. One of my trashcan fell in the dump truck. I called CR&R and explained to them I had two trashcans and now have one. Plus, the one I have, has a whole in it. Operator told me they'll take the damage one and give me two trashcans. Today it's August 7, 2023. I've been calling CR&R for the passed three weeks and this company keeps giving me the runaround. Keep telling you've been rescheduled. On the day I'm rescheduled they don't deliver. Keep telling me the same thing. Trashcan will be delivered before 6 o'clock. I'm very disappointed in the company. I've tried to be patient but I have to make this complaint.

      On April 5 and 12 CR@R did not complete their trash pick-up. I have two homes in ************** Estates in *******. I have continued to pay my Bill of $138.74 per month for each house I Have called several times and only get the run around.       Called CR&R for large item trash removal (2 provided with service/year) on 7/18/2023. We were told the item would be picked up Thursday. Which would have been 7/20.Item was not picked up. Called 7/19/2023 and was told there was a problem with the work order, then came back on phone and said No, work order was for 7/27/2023.Waited for item removal on 7/27/2023. Called at 3:30pm and guaranteed they were still coming. No trash removal.Called on 7/28/2023 and was told the truck broke down. Rescheduled for 7/31/2023. Refrigerator sat out on curb (against HOA rules). Called at 3pm as was suggested by their customer service. Assured me they would pick up. Called at 4:45pm to speak to supervisor. ******** assured me that the trucks worked until 6pm and our refrigerator would be picked up. She also said this was a free service. Well, its actually part of the services I pay taxes for. She was very rude and never apologetic. She agreed to go and listen to the original call on 7/18/2023 but said that I had no way to hear original call.7pm on 7/31/2023 and the refrigerator is still on the curb. Has not been picked up after waiting two and a half weeks.I am forced to use this company by the city I live in for trash removal. It is part of the services I pay for, yet I cannot get them to complete the job I pay them for..

The customer spoke with a customer service supervisor at CR&R and confirmed the driver removed the bulky item while on the phone with the supervisor.
